Ebony worked tirelessly trying to get Blue up to full health. Two weeks she spent on it with barely any rest. She sat at the left side of Blue’s bed, lost in a daze, her eyes were a light Lilac color telling me she had gotten very little sleep. The truth was I had not gotten much sleep either, the worry of both Ebony and Blue kept me from it. I stood beside her, leaning against the nearby wall. On the right side was Colby. He had gotten more sleep than us, but still, not enough, he sat as still as stone with a blank stare at the floor. Ebony’s head hung and she fell asleep fairly quickly. A few moments later Colby and I are startled by Blue.“My head hurts…” Blue moaned. He looked around and saw Colby and Ebony immediately. “BLUE! YOU’RE FINALLY AWAKE” Colby said excitedly. “What’s wrong with her?” He asks, nodding towards Ebony. “She stayed up 14 nights in a row healing you… She’s really tired, just let her sleep…” I say, startling him, he clearly didn’t know I was there. “The last thing I heard her say was that you getting poisoned was all her fault… Blue… she’s blaming herself…” Colby says, his voice breaking badly. “IT’S NOT HER FAULT, SHE DIDN’T KNOW THIS WAS…” he started, raising his voice a small bit, everyone in the room then heard Ebony whimper, I glared at him telling him to shut up. I pick her up and take her to her room. After I tell the guards that they need to keep all noise to a minimum I teleport back in time to hear Blue say, “I don’t know… maybe it has to do with who kidnapped and drugged me…”. “Ezekiel was her boyfriend, but he cheated on her and said that he hated her… He’s been out to kill her since.” I say coldly, just saying his name makes my blood boil, I look at my feet, then I look at Blue and Colby. Colby’s eyes widened “WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO KILL HER, SHE’S AN AMAZING PERSON!?” He says, kind of angry. “That’s the thing, no one knows why… Not even Ezekiel’s parents…” I say. “How wouldn’t his parents know, he told them everything… didn’t he?” Blue asks. I shook my head, “No, in fact, he didn’t and still doesn’t talk to his parents very often…” I said and I looked toward the opposite wall, my fist clenched.“How is she… How is she doing I mean?” Blue asks. “She’s fast asleep for now… and she should stay that way if the guards do their jobs” I answer, looking up at Blue. “At least she's ok,” Colby says, “She always does go past her limits for the people she considers her family… Even if she hurts herself in the process.” My father says making me jump. “You have a bad habit of scaring people half to death, You know that right...” I say. He laughs a bit, “Sorry, but you haven’t been spatially aware since the incident.” My father said grimly. I stood silently, I had no way to reply.

(5 Hours Later)

“Sir Argus, Lady Ebony has asked for you to be brought to her…” A guard tells me. “She shouldn’t be awake right now… Did she wake up by herself or was she woken up by something or someone?” I ask the guard, he shrugs. “She just told me she wanted you brought to her...”He says. When we get there Ebony looks better but she still looks pretty tired. She’s signing something when she notices me walk in. She looks over to me with a weary smile on her face but her smile quickly disappears, “He escaped… Somehow he killed 29 of my best soldiers and wounded over 100 more… I was signing a Bounty Note, putting a price of $250,000,000 on his head…” She said, “Wh…” I started but she had already processed my question, “Zeke…” She says her tone as venomous as a snake bite. “Wha-WHAT… HE SHOULDN’T HAVE ESCAPED!?” I yell, immediately regretting it. Ebony flinches, whimpering. “I-I’m so sorry…” I say. She appears in front of me, and she wraps her arms around me “I-It’s ok you just startled me…” She says. I couldn’t help but smile, and I wrap my arms around her. “Argo, m-my head hurts…” She whimpers. I look at her head and don’t immediately see what’s wrong but soon after she says that I see what’s wrong, there’s a large gash on her head starting where one of her horns is and ending near the middle of her head. I teleport the both of us to her bed. “Sleep… You need to rest” I say to her. She leans on my shoulder, falling asleep a few minutes later. I then try to heal the gash on her head. I succeed and her body untences. She must have been in pain ever since the incident with Artyom, Aleksander, and Zeke. Maybe she ran into the copy of herself and it wounded her. Someone walks up to her door and knocks. “Come in and be quiet she’s asleep…”I say quietly. Aries peeks in and smiles when he sees Ebony leaning on me, asleep. “How cute.”He says. I smile. “Get used to it, Ebony can have episodes of Bipolar Deppression. The 2 weeks before I had to betray everyone here I had to come here everyday to help her fall asleep because Ezekiel cheated on her, said he hated her, and said he was only with her because she was rich” I say. Aries was shocked “That brat was with Ebony?!” He says. “For 2 years, yeah…”I answered. I motion towards Ebony’s desk, he walks over and picks up the Bounty Note. “He escaped!?! HOW!?” He says, raising his voice slightly. Ebony cuddles closer to me, telling me Aries is too loud. “Quiet down, you’re going to wake her up!” I say, my voice loud but not too loud. Aries grimaces then sighs “I’ll watch the door, you get some rest Argus…”He says. I smile at him, “Thank you” I say.
