What has been Earned can be Lost!

What has been Earned can be Lost!

"A life lesson for you if you are willing to take it children. Respect is not something that is given, you have to earn it and continue to do so everyday after. To do anything less would make you unworthy of that respect."

"It is like a fire in that it must be you must constantly fead if you wish it to grow or even to mantain itself. You have already done something that is worthy of respect. Nothing will ever take that from you. But now you must ask yourselves, what is next to do, what still remains to be done."

"I would sugest that you start off small and tackle those problems that you see in your home city. Only a fool would believe that no problems exist and if you take out all of the small problems it will give you the experience to take on the large ones. That which will shake up the culture of the area for generations to come."

"This is what I did to make that difference. I told story's of my adventures and the places I had gone. I spoke to the childern and those with forlorn gazes. I inspired a generation to dare stand up. To look for the horizon."

I was in a school because an old friend had called on me to talk for his childs class. He wanted a tale of danger and excitment from the 'cool uncle'. My friend wanted his son to look up and laugh like we did at that age. He wanted something more for his boy.

He was there with his boy that I had never met but had always sent gifts to every single year. It was a good day and I had brought food that I had learned how to prepare from my travels to the school. We ate and I talked about all the places that they had learned about in class. About how high the mountians are and even encouraged them to go out and see something localy. I tried to make it memorable and was told later that they all thought I was Indiana Jones.

We laughed so hard at that.
