"HAHAHAHAHA!"
"Kids Kids gather around and take a momemt. Just relax some of you are still nervous about being out here with no way to contact the outside world."
"You needn't be. That is just how we did things before we got obsessed with staying in contact with each other 24/7. We couldn't just get in contact with each other as a matter of course so we made plans and just did them."
"It was not a better time or a worse time just another one. You understand that don't you? It was just different and that is OK. Learn something different then you are used to and it will carry over to the rest of you life."
"Now we are going to check the traps later today so everyone rest of and relax in the serenity of the water and nature. That is not something that just anyone knows how to do or gets the chance at. I should know because it took me far to long to learn how to just be for 15 minutes."

I always wanted to go fast ever sense I was a little boy. I enjoyed it and did not know any different so I pushed myself to go faster always. At somepoint though I don't know when I forgot how to look at the great big ol' world with childlike wonder. I forgot how to just be in the moment that drags on forever. When weeks feel like years and years feel like eons.
You loose time as you age. For me decades feel like no time at all and all the while more go and I stay. If I had more time in those moments to live as I pleased with them I would have but I am all that is left.
It took way back in the day a trip like this with some old friends that lasted far to long to get back into relaxing and waiting as the time passed to relearn how to enjoy the moment for what it is. Piece on earth. tranquility!
