"Today is a better day then yesterday children. Don't you worry it happens sometimes. Its just the high price of living to long. Sometimes the shadows run long into the night."
"Sometimes, somethimes it just is not worth getting out of bed in the morning. You either lay in bed all day and go back to sleep or you force yourself to go through with the long day and be misrable. At times like those it helps to have good friends. Those that will make you laugh with dumb jokes and force you to smile. They just make it worth getting up one more time."
"There was a man that draged me up more times then I could count. His name was Cooper and he could make me smile in the darkest of times. This is his story!"

We met in the 80's sitting under a bridge waiting on a bus. We got to talking and he told me about the farm he was born on. About the cows and sheep, about the dogs and the cats. We talked for the wait and then the ride and afterwords we talked at the dinner that we stoped at to get something to eat.

It was just after my wife had passed and I was not in a good place. My friend Coop somehow brought me from the darkness one bad joke at a time. He got me to talking about some of my travels after saying he was going to go on a walkabout himself. He wanted to see the world and I told him the best places I could think of to go.
This of course got him to ask how I could know that which led to him asking why I would ever stop traveling. I told him that the most beautiful sights from across the entire world could not compare to my late wifes smile. He laughed in my face and told me that the pain would fade in time. That I could see the world brightly once more. That it was possible to look up and remember her voice as something more then what is now lost. That she would not want me to be sad, she would want me to do something fun.
So we planned a trip and went to see what the world had to offer. We were not disipointed one bit.
