It soon turned into a three-on-three battle between two teams. Riggs and his opponent were very practised and quick in their movements; but then again, there are no two fighters like them in history.

Because of the current match of the two teams, the host had decided to deploy a total of five cameras to focus each battle on the battlefield only, to show every detail of it without having any confusion or overlap from the rest of the action.

Currently, there are three members deployed on each side.

Riggs was fighting furiously against his opponent who is very agile, but not very strong, however, he is fast in his movements. Riggs had already taken minor cuts and wounds that will take him out of this battle soon enough if they keep coming like these.

He could see from his opponent's eyes how determined the other is to win, and so he has no choice but to win this battle for his team too, even though it would mean that it would be the end for them all.

He raised his sword high above his head, and with a swift movement of his arm, he hurled it down, slicing through his enemy's helmet, which caused blood splatters from his enemy. The other one looked up at Riggs with a look of surprise in his eyes, and then a look of fear, realizing that he might be dying from this Clareo monster.

Riggs had his sword held on the enemy's neck warning him with just this simple action that if he moved further, he would definitely die.

On the other hand, Exeo was battling again the other team's captain, while Bo is now in a battle with a stout man who has the same ability as him. The stout man has been on the sidelines earlier but is now in a battle against Bo.

The stout man noticed this while he was on the sideline earlier, all of the members of Team Unknown don't talk. He was doubting whether Clareo were recruiting soldiers and cutting their tongues but he ignored this as it was impossible.

'No way they would recruit mute as well, do they?'

He internally shake his head on this thought and kept on fighting Bo. He decided to try and talk to Bo.

"Hey, man. You lot sure are monstrous with your stamina.", he spoke a little loud just enough for Bo to hear while attacking him.

Although, Ember had heard this from Bo's earpiece and said quietly, "Why don't you kick that small man a little, hm?"

When Bo heard it, he internally shook his head at what Ember said. He refocused his attention again on the stout man, and when he found an opportunity, he swiftly rushed forward and soon he was now close to the man's ear and spoke in a low voice, "You too, you're strong."

The stout man was shocked when he heard him and momentarily paused his attacks when he heard Bo talk. Bo saw this as an opportunity and kicked him hard in the gut.

"Kuaak!"

The stout man flew a few steps away, groaned and stood up and had his guard up again.

'They can talk! They are not mute!'

The other team members saw this and thought at the same time, 'He definitely thought the other team can't talk.' and internally sighed at their team member who was definitely shocked just moments ago.

On the other hand, Ember and Val are waiting for any movements from the remaining two members of the other party. Ember's strategy is to minimize getting scouted of their abilities as much as possible, and if they needed to engage, as much as possible to not use their abilities, just physical abilities alone. That's why both he and Val have yet to make a move.

Although this strategy worked so far, they were already out of time; if there would be something interesting happen soon enough, it is better for them to wait it out, or else it would be difficult for their team to win against this one.

The timer shows 5 minutes had passed, and Bo and Exeo's battles so far are slowly becoming intense.

Riggs's opponent suddenly made movement and tried to slash him sideways with his sword, but Riggs was able to dodge it and jumped backwards. His enemy ran towards him and raised his blade over his head once again to try and stop the oncoming attack, but instead, he tripped over himself and fell on the ground, unconscious.

Everyone, literally even the audience as well, saw this and sweatdropped at the sight.

However, Riggs took advantage of his opponent's fall and rushed in for a non-lethal kill, but before he could swing, he didn't notice that the bald man was already near him and kicked Riggs on his leg causing him to fall and injure his left arm.

Ember was about to warn Riggs but it was already too late.

The bald man had rushed forward to rescue their unconscious member, but after kicking Riggs, he was also kicked back a few meters away, failing to rescue their member. The bald man stood up, groaned and held his stomach to where he was kicked, he noticed that Val is standing beside their team member who was currently lying down, only Ember is standing still.

Now, when the audience saw this, most were excited that now both teams are slowly moving. While others were thinking to themselves:

'What is happening here?'

'Are they just testing their fighting abilities now or there's something more behind all these?'

Ember told Val before he rushed forward to hold back and engage only in physical battle.

Bo looked at his two teammates and they nodded at each other, they understood what Ember meant when he told them to hold back. They would only fight with their bare hands or weapons if necessary, against the members of the Blue Army.

Suddenly, everyone was baffled by Team Unknown's movements. They didn't know what was going on but suddenly, Riggs, Bo, Val and Exeo jumped back, retreating a few steps and got in one straight line.

Then after a few seconds, they spread out and attacked again the members of the Blue Army, with the exception of Ember, who is standing still.

It now made confusion in the Blue Army. They now didn't know which one they were battling earlier. Since all of Team Unknown was wearing the same black hooded cloaks and were covering their faces with masks, they couldn't tell which one they had fought earlier.

All of them were holding swords as their weapons and attacked the remaining Blue Army members.

The strategy this time is that all four of them: Bo, Riggs, Exeo and Val would keep attacking nonstop and keep changing positions. This way, Blue Army will be confused as to who is who.

The battle continued with two teams and their swords clashing with each other. Team Unknown is now gaining the upper hand and due to the constant changing of positions as Ember instructed, they have left sword cuts on every member of the Blue Army.

Riggs, Exeo, Val and Bo were still at it; while Ember was still observing their battles closely while keeping an eye on the one member of the Blue Army who was not moving. He wanted to take the man out if the time would come but he is afraid that the others might notice something unusual when they see him suddenly rush out to fight. So far so good, Ember was confident of their plan.

Now that Team Unknown has been attacking continuously without rest, the Blue Army has already started to show signs of fatigue. They are slowing down and their movements become sluggish and are slowly pushed back.

When Ember saw this, he told Valens quietly, "Val, keep an eye out on the last member of the team. If you think he'll make his move in any of the four of you, block his attack. I'll cover for the guy in front of you."

"Roger" Val said in a low voice.

Ember's eyes were still focused on watching his team fights but at the same time, he observed how the enemy is now slowly giving up. The last member of the Blue Army was not moving at all and had not shown any signs of trying to make a move.

Ember's guts told him that he will soon make his move, and alas! It didn't fail him and the last member of the Blue Army now made a move and is now rushing forward towards Bo.

As instructed by Ember, in a swift motion, Valens kicked the guy in front of him, sideways and was pushed to the side. He then rushed forward and immediately blocked the last man's attack with his sword. The last member of the Blue Army was shocked and was instantly kicked in the gut by Val.

Ember moved immediately when he saw Val move towards the last member of the Blue Army, and attacked the man Val previously matched with.

Val and Ember's movements were fast and it made the opposing teams confused for a second if they were really enemies or just sparring with each other.

Thanks to the distraction Val and Ember made, the rest of the Team Unknown had seen an opportunity to advance towards their enemies and have another go.

They now rushed forward once more with full speed until Riggs and Bo had knocked out two members of the Blue Army.

At this time, the time is almost up and it's now again down to a three-on-three battle, the three Bellator brothers against the remaining three remaining Blue Army.

Bo glanced at the timer, and there was less than a minute left. The Blue Army has been driven back, and the three brothers kept pushing them back with a barrage of sword attacks. Then, with coordination, the three switched places almost instantly, making the enemy caught off guard.

Ember rushed towards Exeo's enemy by slashing his sword upward, forcing the enemy captain to jump back to dodge. While Exeo and Val attacked each other simultaneously towards the other two enemies.

The enemy captain saw no other option but to push forward. He

was about to attack the brothers when suddenly a black blur flashed across his eyes and struck him to the ground, causing him to lose consciousness and fell to the ground.

The remaining two Blue Army members saw this and decided to raise their hands in defeat. It was also at this time that the timer was up.

Team Unknown is victorious!

The entire crowd cheered, with a big round of applause and cheers. The two teams then bowed to each other before clapping in return., leaving the two members of the Blue Army to walk slowly while the medics that arrived carried their unconscious teammates.

Team Unknown went back and decided to rest in the lounge room they were assigned to. When they were out, all the members gained attention but decided to ignore it.

When they arrived, they soon plopped to the sofa and after a few minutes, Gen. Luis arrived.

"Well, my lads, good job out there. Ember, your plan went smoothly" he said as he approached.

"Not really complicated, it just worked," Ember said with a shrug and gulped down some water from the cooler beside him.

"The demonstration was successful, and no one got hurt on our side either, what more could I ask?" Gen. Luis said as he sat beside them.

"By the way, we have something here for you, boys. This is something that will be of help for the coming missions." He took a small box out from the top drawer and handed it over to Exeo.

Exeo opened up the box and inside, there were ten small cards. Each card was a picture of a person.

"These are photos of the members of the Blue Army that are going to join us next week."

Exeo glanced at the cards and looked at General Luis, earning a brow raised to the rest of the team when they heard it.

"I don't mean to be rude but what does this have to do with us?" Exeo asked.

"Well, the Blue Army might seem weak, but the fact still remains that they can go toe to toe against us. So, with the result of the demonstration earlier, the top brass had decided to have a joint mission."

"Joint?" Valens and Ember said together.

General Luis nodded his head and took another drink from his canteen. "Yes, a joint mission. The Blue Army will send the team of five, the ones you fought earlier, while we send you guys."

Ember asked, "What kind of joint mission that it requires both teams? Seems like an overkill I would say to send us both, just based on the results of the demonstration earlier."

The general smiled as he looked at each of their faces.

"The mission is very important to our country. If this joint mission fails, we're all dead meat so it's better that you all go. Now, enough about this, let me tell you the details of the mission and the members. The target is a man named Diccon de Monday, the current president of the Black Lotus organization. He and his organization are known worldwide as the most notorious, cruellest and ruthless organization ever seen. In the past three years, they have become even more powerful and are considered an even greater threat now than the Blue Army or Clareo. They were formed by two very powerful people from a long line of leaders. His sister was the founder of the Black Lotus, and his brother took over after her death until Diccon took over. Now they are a single organization under Diccon's command, which will be why we can't fail."

"So, what's this guy got that's so valuable? Also, I've heard of Black Lotus before but never knew they really existed. I mean, underworld organizations are definitely hard to trace, but, didn't know they really existed." Exeo said.

"However, our intelligence suggests that the leader of Black Lotus would be Hugo."

Everyone was shocked but silent.

"Wait, you mean, that Hugo we captured before?" Ember asked in disbelief.

General Luis sighed and continued. "Yes, the very same Hugo. When we interrogated Hugo, he told us about this organization and he said that he has been set up by the organization."

Exeo who remained silent earlier, asked, "How do we know that this is not a trap set by both? I mean, yeah, Hugo has been captured, but we can't really tell if Hugo and the Black Lotus are still allies or now enemies. I doubt that they didn't receive the news before of Hades' Wrath being captured, right?"

Ember stood up from the sofa, and said with a frown, "You are going to send us along with the Blue Army to see whether they are allies or not? Or, is our team have another role in this mission?"

The general smirked and was delighted to hear that Ember caught on.

"Well, there is your role. Your mission is to get information on how the organization is operating. see if Hades' Wrath is truly allies or not. You will not engage in battle but if push comes to shove, Exeo, it will be your decision."

Ember said, "Then, what would be the Blue Army's role in this mission?"

The general smiled and poured himself some more water. "You see, it has been my experience that there is a strong possibility that the Blue Army is involved in this organization and may have something to do with it. On the surface, you two teams will be on a joint mission to capture Diccon, but-"

Exeo interrupted him and finished his sentence, "But, the real mission is to see whether Blue Army is involved in this and whether Hades' Wrath and Black Lotus are still allies or not, and how Black Lotus operates, is what you mean.", with his arms crossed across his chest.

Exactly," the general replied as he sat back down on his sofa chair.

"The Blue Army will provide their surveillance team for the mission, with whom you are all very familiar, so I hope that we don't run into any complications with them."

Ember huffed in annoyance and brushed back his hair and said, "That's a tall order coming from them."

Exeo smirked as if to say he agreed, and he said, "Well, nothing we can do about it. So, just to make sure we are all on the same page, we will still play along that we will capture Diccon but investigate instead whether the other team is involved along with Hades' Wrath and Black Lotus."

The general nodded and continued, "Yes, and besides, you lads are trained assassins too. So, I don't see a reason why it's a tall order.", he grinned as if entertained.

Ember just rolled his eyes and shrugged, "Yeah, yeah, I'm the second-in-command, not the leader. Just because I can talk doesn't mean that I should always be doing the talking. So, when will this joint mission start?"

The general smiled and poured himself some more water, and took a sip of it before continuing, "Well, we just got our information last night so it may take us some time to prepare for your mission. Right now, you can relax and take your day off lads."

"Don't worry, it won't take that long. But, we would like you boys to be ready within a week at most. Alright?"

Everyone nodded and soon, General Luis went out of the lounge room. The general was then greeted by some reporters and answered some of the questions.
