The battlefield itself was vast and empty. Nothing but open land and a few trees here and there. The sky was grey and cloudy, threatening to rain down on what would surely be a long battle. But that was not why this battle felt different from all of the ones before.

The first to arrive from the portal was the Blue Army. They were over three hundred strong and had already started forming into rows and columns, ready for action. It was easy to see who they were; every one of them wore some sort of colour-coded uniform based around the Blue, their main faction. Their faces were covered in protective gear, which made it hard to discern exactly who was who without scrutiny, while at the same time making sure no single person could be singled out easily.

Then, Team Unknown arrived, with only five people, they arrived at the same place as the Blue Army. Exeo's team were still wearing the same black hooded cloaks but changed their military uniforms to combat ones.

Every audience around the world was looking at this huge battlefield.

It is said that the Blue Army will win against the Unknown. Many are betting on it. Some say that this will be the first time that a surprise will win a war. Others think that we have to wait for the final result. But everyone agrees that we should not miss a chance to see these two great teams.

The battle began with the Blue Army charging straight in on their enemies.

Exeo's team didn't make a move yet, they were still quite a bit far and just waiting for Ember to command everyone. After the enemy team were only a few meters ahead, Ember raised his hand with two fingers up. This signal made Riggs move towards them so fast that the enemy team who charged forward first were startled.

He appeared behind the enemy members. He was quick enough to attack before the enemy realized it. A single powerful punch from him sent two enemies flying away from him. He turned his body so quickly that his opponent got caught in his legs and get hit by his knee. It was a simple technique but effective.

This happened in just a matter of minutes, the first team to rush forward had all been lying down with all the groans while some were unconscious.

Val whistled at the sight but still waiting for Ember's command.

While this happened, the opposing team's commander had his eyes wide open when he saw the first team already lying down. His jaw dropped as if in awe of what was happening. But then his attention was immediately taken up by the other team, which now had already reached their position.

'I am so screwed', he thought to himself, 'I should have expected that from such an infamous country'.

He was thinking that with just one man, it took only a few minutes for one of his opponents to wipe out one of his armies.

He shuddered at the thought that this was only the strength of one man, how much more of the remaining four had moved?

This time, the opposing team's commander was quick in action. He quickly ordered his group to form into a square formation.

It was easy for them since they were the more experienced and had already practised these formations many times before. So now, a solid line of men were all gathered inside their square formation.

"Charge! Charge!" cried the commander in front. The others shouted "To Arms! To Arms!" together, with the cry coming from every side of the square.

A huge mass of soldiers charged in all at once.

Exeo's team didn't move again, Riggs who had already knocked down the first batch of the enemy's army went back into position.

The other members were not too far either so that they can be ready to support. They would attack in a surprise attack once the Blue Army is in their full concentration.

Ember signalled for Riggs again, which the enemy had noticed and had shouts of 'Be alert! They are sending him again!'

Riggs was the first one to attack again, but this time he rushed in front, using a kick with both his feet, he kicked his opponent's face, then quickly went forward and hit the others in front with somersault kicks.

However, the enemy's team didn't falter and surrounded Riggs, which is now at the centre of the formation.

Riggs stopped his attacks and soon heard another command from Ember via his earpiece to use his Wind ability.

He immediately blew all the attackers away with his gust of wind. This attack was so sudden that some were blown up and even fell off from the sky.

It took only a few minutes before it seemed that the second group was already out of breath. Riggs went back to his position again.

This time, Ember spoke in his earpiece. "They're sending out only non-ability user soldiers. They're testing out which abilities we have. Riggs, try to hold out some more. We are limiting the information about abilities being exposed. The unit that has the Blue coloured-armour is what I'm concerned about. Let's minimize exposure of our abilities as possible."

"Roger.', Riggs replied.

Riggs looked around him and saw that their enemy was not able to surround them because they were so spread apart.

This time, the enemy's commander is starting to panic. He thought that there must be something wrong with the other team since it took only one or two minutes of fighting from a single man to destroy his entire team.

With this theory, he had already ordered another formation of his team but this time, with the Blue Army included. The Blue Army has more members and all of them are ability users ranked Rubra or Aurum.

Although, if the enemy commander knows that Exeo's team is composed of all Aurum and ARM ranked ability users, he would definitely change his tactics.

It took only a few moments for their enemies to form again, this time, they formed into a circle. This formation would make it easier for them to surround and attack their opponents.

"I'll lead off!" cried a soldier from behind him, and dashed straight forward at Exeo's team.

Aurum Soldier- Even if Riggs was also the same rank as the enemy soldier, Riggs is still far ahead of the former in terms of abilities. The enemy rushed toward Riggs with such speed that he seemed like a blur. With just a quick glance back, Riggs saw that the other soldiers were already surrounding him.

He turned to Ember with his eyes filled with determination, then Ember spoke: 'Now!'

Riggs simply nodded and whispered, "Aero'

Riggs blew up into the air and was able to move faster than the enemy, so he easily evaded all attacks with their swords or spears.

Most Aurum rank users from the enemy's Blue Army team were elementals. This gave way to the details Ember was waiting for. He carefully observed each and every Blue Army soldier and noted in his mind the details about them.

There were two elements from their ranks who had the element of water, one Elemental of Fire, and one Elemental of Ice.

It was now the turn of Bo to help out. Riggs' ability helped him evade every attack that he made.

Ember told Bo while in camouflage mode to freeze people who had no elements but what Ember didn't expect was that Bo had also frozen the soldiers who had the same ability he has.

Ember was stunned when he saw this but smirked and whispered, "Sneaky bastard."

Val and the others just snorted when they heard Ember comment in the earpiece about what Bo just did.

Ember also didn't expect that those soldiers couldn't even escape Bo's skill.

"Catch!"

With these words, Ember threw something which exploded in the air and covered the rest of the soldiers of the Blue Army team in a purple cloud.

The explosion froze them immediately and then when it had faded away, all these soldiers were standing motionless like statues, having been caught by something that Ember had used.

It is said that if a person was caught by this weapon and was unable to free himself within twenty-four hours, but would melt after the next day.

Amidst the silent chaos with frozen soldiers on the field, Bo and Riggs had taken this opportunity to swap positions when they got back while Ember and the rest are still in place. They stared again at the scene, which made the entire world speechless.

All the remaining Blue Army had completely frozen with a few exceptions. This made Ember and the rest of his team frown.

There were exactly five of the opposing team who were not frozen. Ember knew that these opposing teams were ready to fight anytime.

No one spoke but both teams knew both teams are strong enough to go head-to-head with each other.

"I think it's about time!" shouted a man from the opposing side. This time, the man who shouted had showed off a red aura, and rushed forward, targeting Exeo this time.

The man with the red aura attacked with swift moves like a flash of light and Exeo was able to block every strike with ease, while at the same time evading them. He could tell from his opponent's movements that he is indeed very skilled. But then again, there are a lot of good combatants who would have a similar aura.

But suddenly, another man from the opposing team had launched an attack on Exeo which he skillfully parried with his right sword, while on his left hand, he had another sword blocking the man with a red aura.

Although Bo, Riggs and Val wanted to help Exeo, Ember told them to stay in their positions, since the other members of the opposing team didn't move as well.

Both sides are waiting to move with each other.

Both teams were watching the 2 versus 1 fight along with their weapons clashing from time to time.

"How long can he hold up against him?" someone from the other side asked in wonderment.

Another member of the other side had commented with a weapon resting on his shoulder. He said, "Man, this is a pain. The leader doesn't allow us to move, we could have ganged up on that man and we would win."

The battle had gone on for quite a while now but Exeo still managed to evade all of the duo's attacks. It seemed like a very one-sided affair with little hope that their leader could pull through this fight.

Both sides were interrupted when Exeo kicked one of them far away back to the opposing side. The man with the red aura was kicked away a few meters away but gained his footing and rushed again toward Exeo at an even greater speed.

With lightning speed, the man struck his sword against the left side of Exeo's body, but then Exeo dodged the strike while simultaneously striking a blow on his opponent's head, causing him to fly backwards again.

Exeo stood still and took a breath before charging back into the fight. He glanced around to find that both sides were in their places once more.

The opposing team members couldn't help but comment despite the fight going on in front of them.

"Man, such a monstrous combat ability Clareo had. Tsk!"

"We should be lucky to have a match with Clareo's best unit. It's not every day we got to fight strong opponents."

This time, the enemy's team commander commanded one of them to attack Exeo. A bald tall man, a muscular fellow with an intense aura of bloodthirsty ferocity about him rushed forth with a sword in hand, while the other team members cheered at his audacity. He attacked with the most brutal attacks imaginable.

"You're really strong," said the commander from Blue Army, panting with exhaustion and out of breath.

Exeo didn't answer. All he did was strike the other team members' swords, evading the incoming blows. He could tell that they were tired but there are no signs of quitting from either side.

Suddenly, the man with the red aura used his fire ability, and so are the other two who joined to attack Exeo. They had good coordination in their attacks, making it very difficult for him to evade.

All the members of the opposing team were momentarily stunned by that ability. It was their first time to see a purple ability. They even didn't know what exactly is that ability, but it was already a great gain that they had forced Exeo to use his ability.

Everyone knows that the Bellator Family are strong, but they didn't exactly know the family's ability nor the colour of their ability as no one really has seen any of the Bellator in combat personally. They do not expect that any Bellator Family would join the demonstration.

He shouted something to his team before charging at Exeo. This time, he was more determined to win with this single attack, as if it were the last fight that they could do for their lives. With a fierce roar, he attacked with all his might while his team cheered him on.

He raised up a heavy broad sword as if he wanted to cut through Exeo like a knife through butter, however, just as the tip of his blade reached Exeo's body, there was a flash of light from behind the two combatants' backs.

The next moment, a great explosion blew away both men and most of the surrounding area. All the people who stood around the two fighting men flew back and were scattered here and there. Good thing none were seriously wounded. The whole ground was filled with smoke and dust.

Exeo was hit by some pieces of stone, which caused minor wounds on his chest. The same goes with the enemy captain who also took the brunt and was hit by so many flying stones and rocks, but had the same condition as Exeo, minor scratches.

Exeo looked up at the source of the explosion: it came from Riggs who threw a non-lethal bomb but was still able to be powerful enough to cause this kind of blast. Riggs along with others were already back in position when Exeo saw him, which made Exeo snort.

Exeo's team had gone back into position, while the opposing team members had helped their leader stand up.

"Good job," Ember said quietly but firmly.

Riggs nodded while Exeo slowly walked back towards his spot too, all five of them were looking towards the opposing team.

Everyone is at a standstill, and the only thing moving is the timer, which, surprisingly, the time has only been 10 minutes had passed.

The audience in the arena and all over the world have all their attention now on that battle between Team Unknown and Blue Army. Tension was high, with people screaming, yelling, whistling, clapping and cheering, hoping for one or the other to win. The spectators are expecting a very fierce fight between this team made up of these soldiers who are the best fighters in all of history. They are expecting a bloodbath so that when they finally announce the winner of the fight, it would be the biggest sensation of the century.

Suddenly, the weather in the battlefield arena had changed. Thunder and lightning started and heavy rain poured down.

The two teams didn't leave their eyes on each other, they were waiting.

A few minutes passed, and Ember told Riggs to move first which is no longer from his previous position, and had swapped places with Val. While on the opposing team, another member had made their move to parry Rigg's attack.

They were expecting another member from team Unknown to launch an attack, but little did they know, it was still Riggs.

Soon, Ember told Exeo to follow suit to target again their captain. And this time, Ember had told Bo to move as well, which also made the other team member had moved.

And so, this time, it soon turned into a three-on-three battle between two teams.
