In this world, ability users exist, and legends are also part of this world's history. Although a few historical figures of ability users have been recorded in history, they still paved the way for humanity and had existed for centuries, making their own country of super strong ability users.
Most of the general population are normal citizens, there are still ability users that exist in this world. Most of them are mostly recruited for the military, while some are in other fields. Some of the low-ranked ability users make the lives of these normal citizens in each country live their lives easy, along with advanced technology.
Ranking assessments are also done not just for those who have ability users, but also for normal citizens. There are 3 stages of Ranking Assessments, one, they are being checked at an early age of 5, and if, during their initial assessment they have mana, they will be listed to be monitored, and will take again a second assessment once they are 14 years old. In this second stage of assessment, if they show results of having initial rankings during the assessment, it's mandated by law that they will need to enroll in the Military Academy, regardless of the results. This is to prepare them for their last assessment, which will be when they will turn 18 years old.
As for ability users, all of them, without exception, are mandated to have a license in the form of a small pin attached to their cloaks. This is a precautionary measure set by all the countries around the world should a citizen/agent go rogue, (which at times go rogue due to unable to control their abilities).

The rankings are as follows: Griseo (Grey) - Common ability users with the grey pin, Viridi (Green)- Rare ability users with the green pin, Rubra (Red)- Unique ability users with a red pin, and Aurum (Gold)- a small percentage of ability users only were ranked as Aurum users, with some strong abilities, and may or may not have dual abilities, and if there are, are considered dangerous, with gold pins.
Of course, out of all the listed ranks of ability users, there is still one rank that is considered to be highly dangerous, Ater Mors (Black) aka ARM ability users. These types of users have very rare abilities, and as such, with dual rare abilities. There's only one ARM ability user recorded in all of the world's history, and that is in Clareo country. Although the title might sound scary, this ARM user is considered a legend, aside from having saved countless lives of people during wars, but no one knows what type of abilities this legendary ARM user has. It was said that the previous Clareo government had very much kept the records of the identity of the ARM user as tight-lipped as possible. Only records of its achievements were recorded, although battlefields can have so much evidence, they made sure that the ARM user is accompanied by an Aurum user/s to prevent leaks of the abilities. And so, cleaning up the evidence. Thus, after the death of the Ater Mors legend, many have mourned and there was no other ARM reported in history.
Despite this, Clareo still boasted as the strongest when it comes to military power due to Aurum users being awakened or registered in the military, even without an ARM user being born for centuries until today.
