In District Hevo, still, in Clareo City, famous for producing the strongest ability users, the renowned Bellator family lived in this district. Most of the citizens in this district have a peaceful life, especially knowing the Bellator family lived in their district. Strict laws were implemented, and thus, the citizens rarely have crimes compared to other cities and districts.

The people in Hevo didn't even find it suspicious that a young boy was seen walking in the gardens. They thought that the Bellator family have kept this kid hidden from prying eyes, so, they didn't bother to dig deeper into it. They didn't dare even as they would go against the Bellator.

The Head Butler understood why Exeo Bellator, the eldest son of Ino and Rueol Bellator, brought the kid home. The kid strikingly has the same trademark features as a Bellator: Red eyes and hair, pale white skin with a very handsome face.

When Exeo and Valens arrived at the manor, Head Butler Nox opened the front door awaiting his master's arrival.

He noticed both were completely drenched in rain and glanced at the boy, who was completely shivering and teeth chattering can be heard, being held by his Master. Nox asked in a slight bow with one of his hands behind his back and asked, "Master, you have arrived. I would like to ask if..why did you bring the boy back home?", as he glanced from Exeo, then down to the kid. Both are dripping wet when they go inside, making the carpet soaked from it.

Exeo just smiled but didn't reach his eyes, just a cold smile towards Nox. The butler shivered a bit at this but somehow understood what he meant with his Master's look that shows 'I will tell you in the morning in detail' look. He looked at the kid, slightly bowed, with a slight smile, and asked, "Young Master, may I know your name?"

The kid looked up at the butler, and then at Exeo, who also gazed down at him with a slight nod, telling him it was fine to give him his name, then back at the butler and said, "Valens is my name". The boy's gaze with a hint of determination, made the butler surprised a bit, and just replied, "Young Master Valens, my name is Nox, I'm the Head Butler of the Bellator Family. It is nice knowing Young Master's name."

The kid was shocked upon hearing the name Bellator, and shouted, "Be-Bellator?! Like Exeo Bellator who is the strongest ability user in the country??!" He quickly shifted his gaze from the butler to the man who was holding his hand with his mouth gaping, closing, and opening like a fish, not knowing what to say. Both the adults flinched at the loud voice the lad had produced, but Exeo just chuckled brushing his hair up with his other hand, and just muttered, which only the butler can hear, "Oh boy."

The kid then asked another question, "S-so, I'm going to work here?", glancing up at the two adults waiting for confirmation from them. The butler frowned a bit, straightened his back, and looked back at his master, with a look that says 'Master, you didn't explain to him along the way up until here why you brought him is it.' expression. The redhead guy just stared blankly back at him, then glanced down at the boy, he sighed and said, "Valens, do you know why I brought you here?"

The boy shook his head, but he also replied, "You said if I follow you, you'll give me a name, so I did. You didn't tell me anything else. If this is the Bellator family, and I followed you, and you have given me a name, does this mean I will work for you?"

The butler sighed in defeat, not knowing what to do with his Master's actions on a whim, but he explained, slightly bent down to match the kid's height, and said, "No, Young Master. You are now carrying the Bellator Family name, you are Valens Bellator."

The kid lowered his head, like he was thinking, and just muttered what the butler said, "Valens Bellator". He was in a daze for a bit and then suddenly, he shifted his body to the side to Exeo, and said, "Then, what am I to you?"

Both adults were shocked, but Exeo just chuckled, he released his hand which was holding little Valens's hand, and patted his head. He gazed down at him and said, "I'm too young to have a son, so you, Valens, will be my little brother.". The boy's eyes widen in surprise but were soon replaced with sparkles and said, "Then, big brother Exeo, I'm indebted to you. I will surely not taint the name of the Bellator family!" He said loudly, which somehow made both of the adults flinch again.

"Val, you're too loud", Exeo sighed but still didn't remove his hand from the boy's head. He liked it, he felt protective of the boy already.

The boy had a wide grin on his face, while slowly spoiling himself on how Exeo was doing to him, he liked how his 'big brother' patted his head.

The butler soon slowly understands this sudden relationship. He sighed and straightened his back and said, "Now now, Master Exeo, and Young Master Valens, I believe you both are now dried up from being soaked by the rain. You both need to rest and take a warm shower. I will call up the maids to prepare hot water baths for you."

The butler slightly bowed to both of them and was about to turn around when the boy spoke. He turned around and looked at Valens, when Valens suddenly said, "Can I.. uhm.. can I", he glanced up at Exeo then to Nox, and then down at the floor, fidgeting. He was hesitant to say it, but mustered the courage, shutting his eyes, and suddenly shouted, "Canistaywithmybigbrothertonight?!"

Exeo was the most shocked and from the loud voice this kid is producing, he might wake up all of the workers inside. His eyes widened and suddenly laughed out loud, his laugh slowly died down and wiped a lone tear from his eye. He looked down at Valens, suppressing the laughter that would come out again, and he said, "Valens, you can stay the night with me but tomorrow, you will need to sleep in your own bedroom, is that okay?"

The kid nodded enthusiastically, smiled, and said, "Yes, that's fine, I just wanted to know more about my new big brother."

"Pfft". Exeo just chuckled at this boy's sudden demand. "Alright, then let's wait for Nox to call us then. Let's go to my bedroom." The butler waited for both of them to walk ahead first, and then followed behind.

'This will be a long night for Master', Nox thought while shaking his head and inwardly sighing.
