CHAPTER 48
All the bandits except the two leaders were dead, half an hour ago, when I saw the dead bodies, my stomach rose, but now I don't feel anything. All I felt was to unstoppable desire to chase after the two leaders and hunt them down. This must be what they call the thrill of the hunt. Erebus and his murder were tracking the two leaders, and I could see them when I connected to Erebus.
The bandit leaders ran desperately, constantly tripping over something, and the bushes all around scratched their bodies. Both of their bodies were covered with small scratches, and they were bleeding thinly.
Catching two adults will be a bit of a challenge; one has seven spd while the other has 7.5 spd. But catching them will not be impossible because they are running with all their strength. They will get tired in 10 or 20 minutes and fall to the ground, but thanks to my buffs, I will have a stat close to them even though I can't be as fast as them. While my spd and str buff both give 1.8 stat, the stamina buff I just developed doubles my stamina.
“Volhen keli (aspect of cat) volhen taur (aspect of bull)”
As I ran like the wind through the trees and bushes, the thrill of the hunt grew inside me with each passing moment, making my heart beat faster and faster. With every breath I took, I could feel every heartbeat as if it was coming through a megaphone.
I must have been running for about half an hour, but I didn't feel tired. Volhen taur (the aspect of bull) is a really powerful buff. The two bandit leaders were resting, hiding under a tree from exhaustion. The effect of Promodynes ( locate animals ) was over, and I had about 20 mana left. I didn't want to waste more mana because they were under Erebus's watch.
Since the bond between my familiars and me strengthened, I could now passively know their direction without wasting any mana. As I approached the two thugs, my excitement started to overflow, and my heartbeat was almost deafening.
I would reach them in about a hundred meters, and I could clearly smell their blood. This skill was a buff from my new familiar, Berus. After I bonded with Berus, my senses of smell and hearing improved tremendously, I could almost see the faint scents, like smoke trails of different colors floating in the air, and my stats also increased.
I currently have stats of 5 str and 5.2 spd. The forest suddenly began to lose its color, and I could only see red. My hands and face were covered with a burning sensation as if on fire. Even though I got so close to them, I couldn't stop myself.

POV BANDİT LEADER
what a goddamn day. However, how well the day had started, we had successfully ambushed a wealthy merchant caravan and had lifted loads of loot. What a beautiful massacre it was, and I was in total control; I could still taste their horror-filled begging for mercy. But four of my men were killed by arrows instantly, and the others were crushed under massive boulders.

I don't want to know in any way what kind of creature threw those stones. I'm drained and can't take another step; I hope it can't track us. I turned to look at my brother; he looked like he was going to pass out from exhaustion. I kicked his leg.
"Hey, asshole, if you are not dead, let's get up. That's enough rest; we gotta go."
I had already thrown out my spear while running because I didn't have the strength to carry a weapon anymore. I felt very exposed because I was unarmed.
We were just getting up when all the birds in the trees started flying and cawing at once; this cacophony took over the silence of the forest. It didn't feel natural at all; something must have frightened these birds. I was looking in all directions and listening intently to the sounds coming from the bushes, but I couldn't even feel it coming.
It happened in a moment. Something that I didn't understand suddenly jumped from one of the bushes to a tree, and from there, it jumped over me and swooped down on my brother. It resembled a human being, but at the same time, it had nothing to do with it. This creature was a wild thing. It probably didn't take a second for my brother to be disemboweled and for it to rip his throat out. Because of the shock I was in, I couldn't even accept the reality in front of me. I wasn't able to make head nor tail of this situation.
All I could do in the face of this situation was freeze in terror. My body was not listening to me. I always wondered why the women and merchants who died under my spear didn't try to get up and run away and beg me unnecessarily. Couldn't they see I was enjoying every moment of their terror? It turns out it was for this reason that when a person is in terror, his body stops listening to him. I couldn't help but watch in complete silence as this creature ripped my brother apart.

POV MC
I think I blacked out, and when I came to myself, I was on top of a ripped-apart corpse. My face and hands felt wet, and a metallic-tasting liquid was in my mouth. When I raised my hands, what I saw were claws. Did it happen again? Primaferus ( primal savagery) became active before I cast the spell. I had a very different feeling on my face, too. I brought my hands to my face while being careful not to scratch my face with the claws, and what I felt was unbelievable. I had a snout like a dog or a wolf and rows of sharp teeth.
What was happening to me when I realized that the liquid in my mouth was blood? It wasn't hard to understand what had happened to this corpse before me. At this moment, I realized that I was following two people and felt a presence behind me. When I turned back, I saw a man out of his mind with fear.
If I didn't know what kind of psychopath he was, I could really pity this man. I'm seeing this for the first time in my life right now. The man's hair was starting to turn white with fear. He was holding his mouth so tightly as not to make a sound that his nails were beginning to cut the corners of his mouth.
When he saw me turn towards him, his eyes widened, and he suddenly stopped breathing.
RAAAWWWRR
what should I do? He was staring with such horror that I couldn't help myself from doing it. With my roar, the man screamed and struggled to escape. He barely managed to get up, ran a few steps, tripped, and fell to the ground. I quickly went up to him and tore his Achilles tendon with the claw of my right hand. When I took this cut, an incredible pain struck my right hand. Damn, I think I broke my finger; I must have pushed my hands too hard when I blacked out.
