Chapter 206: Boara

"My master said they come from a world called earth and meet the High god before their respective gods summon them. Most heroes were prisoners in their world or essentially terrible people," the dragon Iphranx explained.

"Everything is starting to make sense. The world wars, the heroes—it was all intentional," Aurianna muttered, nodding thoughtfully. ‘Hah, the more I think about it the more I believe my goals won't be so easy,’ she sighed and shook her head.

"So none of the heroes could be killed?" Aurianna asked.

"Everyone fighting them was exhausted from the war, so the remaining heroes were locked away in ruins like these," Iphranx replied, pointing at the sky.

"More ruins like these, huh? This should be interesting," Aurianna said with a grin.

"Who's the strongest hero in this ruin?" she asked, curiosity piqued. ‘They would definitely be the last person I have to fight. If their strength surpasses this dragon Iphranx, I don't know if I can win,’ she thought, her brows furrowing.

"One of the strongest heroes to ever exist: Jade Havensworth, the Human Chimera," Iphranx answered, her body trembling slightly before she composed herself. “That man is an abnormality amongst all the heroes summoned.”

"I've never heard of him," Aurianna said, confusion evident on her face as she shook her head.

"Me neither," Kiana added, shrugging from where she was sitting.

"He's not in the logs of the mechas either," Eva stated, scanning data files on her screen but finding nothing. “Are they trying to hide the existence of the strongest heroes? But why?” Eva wondered with a frown.

"This entire ruin was created to seal and use the heroes for training others. But the main reason was to keep locked up a hero who was one of the hardest to kill—one of the few heroes who managed to kill a god," Iphranx explained, and Aurianna took a deep breath.

‘Someone who can kill a god—how strong was this man?’ Aurianna wondered nervously.

"I doubt those two angels would choose an unusual child like you and that mermaid there to clear this ruin unless they were desperate for you to die," Iphranx chuckled.

‘I’m not even surprised she found me as well,’ Kiana thought nervously.

‘We’re going to die, and we haven’t even made it halfway through the ruin yet!!” Kiana cried. “Brother I've tried my best. I'll see you in heaven soon,” she added dramatically whiles her tears flared in the water and she could suddenly hear her brother's voice calling her to come join and him. ‘And why are they chatting when we’re supposed to kill it?’ Kiana wondered, her expression a mix of confusion, fear, and tears.

"Was Jade a Primordial Human?" Aurianna asked, crossing her arms.

"Jade is beyond a Primordial Human. He is an Arcane Human," Iphranx replied.

"There’s a level beyond Primordial Human?!" Aurianna gasped, her eyes widening in shock.

"Of course there are! Once a being surpasses being a Primordial Human their level can no longer be tracked by the world's system," the dragon Iphranx replied.

‘Does this mean Paige’s Sacred could be higher than a Primordial Human? This just got more complicated,’ Aurianna thought, a frown etched on her face.

"Another question: if we die, does time reverse for the ruin?" Aurianna asked.

"Yes, it does. Any enemy killed here would be revived, but they won't remember much about their death," Iphranx answered, pointing at her head with her claws.

"I see," Aurianna mumbled.

"Are those all your questions?" Iphranx asked, tilting her head slightly.

"I believe so, but one last question," Aurianna said coldly.

"Yes, go on," Iphranx encouraged.

"How powerful is the High God of this world?" Aurianna asked.

"Why are you curious?" Iphranx asked with a grin.

"I want to kill a goddess—the Goddess of Beauty, to be exact. However, I know there would be grave consequences for that, so I must be ready to be an enemy of all the gods," Aurianna stated coldly, clenching her fist.

"You want to fight the gods?!" Iphranx gasped, her eyes widening. "Ra-ra-ra-sra-ra, are you insane?" she asked, her head moving closer to Aurianna.

"I guess I am," Aurianna replied with a crazed smile.

"I lost. Jade lost. What makes you think you can win?" Iphranx asked coldly.

"Check my age," Aurianna declared confidently.

"Age 11—ra-ra-ra, wait a second! This has to be a joke! This shouldn't be possible for a human. Level 6000?!" Iphranx gasped, clearly in shock.

"You’re not human. What race are you? A Starlight?" Iphranx asked.

"Does it matter?" Aurianna shrugged. "Just assume me to be a genius!" she said with a confident smile.

"Ararara, I would like to test your strength. Forgive me for the rudeness," Iphranx said excitedly, standing up as the ground trembled. "I would join you, but I must fight you first. It's just in my nature to be combat-hungry," she added with a grin, her blue eyes glowing brightly.

"I understand that feeling, so I shall comply. I wanted to fight you as well, Dragon Iphranx!" Aurianna declared as her aura surged brightly, and she pointed her revolver at Iphranx.

"Call me Boara!"

‘Aurianna, you idiot, ask her about the Regals!’ Eva yelled.

"That can happen later. Now we fight!" Aurianna declared with a grin.

Boara immediately flew high into the sky, her mouth glowing bright red as the sky turned the same hue.

"Gixo!" Aurianna commanded, and a circular shield surrounded her.

"Shining Star!" Aurianna used her skill, and several stars appeared in the sky. The crown on her head glowed brightly, as did the diamonds in her eyes.

"Blast Breath!" Boara unleashed a torrent of fire, clashing with Aurianna's stars. The collision created a massive explosion, illuminating both the sky and the land below. A shield protected Aurianna, Kiana, and their summons from the blast.

‘Her blast managed to crack Kisho?’ Aurianna thought, noting the crack on her shield.

"Hey Boara, if I manage to injure you, would you consider becoming my familiar?" Aurianna proposed.

"And what makes you think I would agree so easily?" Boara roared.

"Well, if I were you, I wouldn't want to be stuck in this ruin for several more years, only to eventually die," Aurianna replied with a smirk.

"I suppose you have a point," Boara conceded. "Fine, I shall agree. But if you do manage to injure me and become my master, I would like to meet my former master as well. You must make her your familiar too."

"A human as a familiar... No, wait, a hero?" Aurianna pondered before nodding. "Well, I need all the manpower I can get."

"Then I accept your proposal, Aurianna Vanluad!" Boara roared.

(Remember if someone's level is higher than another they can see their stats and name. )

"Auras Sogen!" Aurianna activated her skill, summoning a bazooka. But before she could attack, Boara was already upon her, her massive claw crashing down and shattering the ground.

‘She's fast, extremely fast. Gixo couldn't even injure her,’ Aurianna thought as she narrowly dodged the attack, her bazooka taking the damage of the impact begire disappearing. But the sheer force of Boara's movement sent shockwaves through the air, knocking her off balance, but she quickly regained her footing.

She then immediately tried to trace Boara’s rapid movements with her eyes.

"Phantasma!" Aurianna shouted, and thousands of guns materialized in the sky, firing at Boara. The dragon easily dodging the barrage and was chased after some guns that continued to fire at her. So in order to stop them she used another blast attack and destroyed them all.

"Queen!" Aurianna called. Queen grew in size and grabbed Boara, slamming her into the ground.

"Singing Glory!" Aurianna invoked her skill, summoning a maiden in the sky who wielded black chains. The chains wrapped around Boara, binding her.

"Kiana!" Aurianna yelled. The area filled with a powerful song, increasing Aurianna’s strength while weakening Boara.

"She's strong, extremely strong," Aurianna grinned, seeing the chains start to break and Queen losing her grip on Boara.

Aurianna rushed towards Boara, running through the air and summoning two shotguns. Spinning in the air, she appeared next to Boara’s eye and unleashed a barrage of shots.

However, as Aurianna distanced herself from Boara, she noticed that the dragon remained uninjured and her eye turned towards her.

Boara, having broken free, immediately flew above Aurianna and aimed a clawed smashing attack. Aurianna anticipated this, raising her leg high to block the strike and countered by delivering a spinning kick to Boara's face. The force sent Boara flying several meters before she regained her composure.

"My leg hurts," Aurianna muttered, glancing at her leg. She noticed it had fractured upon impact with Boara but was already healing rapidly.

Boara suddenly sensed an incoming attack and dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding it. She turned to see a massive hole beside her wider than her body, a hint of nervousness flickering in her eyes before she looked back at Aurianna and became alerted.

"I'm getting used to Shining Star. Next time, I won't miss," Aurianna declared, her hands bleeding from the star tattoos.

"Rararara," Boara laughed, watching Aurianna. "I will now be serious. Make sure not to die, human!" Boara's body glowed with bright rainbow-colored lines, her blue eyes turning completely black.

She vanished and reappeared before Aurianna, and they exchanged a flurry of blows. Aurianna summoned her blades and slashed at Boara, but the dragon's tough skin resisted the attacks, frustrating Aurianna. In contrast, Boara's attacks easily hurt her. Boara's tail struck Aurianna, sending her crashing through several buildings before she finally came to a stop, leaving her with broken bones and coughing up blood.

"Shit, my healing can't keep up with her attacks," Aurianna thought, quickly standing to block another incoming strike. The ground shattered around her from the force of Boara's attack.

"I can barely see their fight," Kiana mumbled, her vision filled with bright white and rainbow lights clashing and destroying everything around them, which was all displayed on the screen Gixo had made for her.

Aurianna managed to get on top of Boara as the dragon flew through the sky, attacking with all her might, slashing and shooting continuously.

Boara spun violently to dislodge Aurianna, and as Aurianna fell, Boara's horns glowed brightly. Thousands of rainbow-colored magic circles appeared in the sky, all launching towards Aurianna, creating an explosion more powerful than King's Nebula, obliterating the entire area and even causing the water around them to evaporate.

"Aurianna!" Kiana yelled in panic as the heat from the attack pressed against the shield she was in but it didn't affect her, but all she could see was a bright red flame.

"Ehhh, Is that all that human can do? She just had to lose consciousness at this moment," Boara scoffed, noticing Aurianna engulfed in the explosion, her entire body burned by the force of the attack. Leaving her like a shriveled up mummy.

"Don't underestimate her," Gixo warned Kiana with a nervous grin. A massive scream erupted from Aurianna, piercing the air and the entire Ruin room.

Kiana clutched her ears as the scream caused her head to ache. "Ahhh... this voice... why does it have so much hatred?" she wondered, tears streaming down her face since she was scared. “We're probably gonna die!!!”

“Stop it,” Gixo scoffed with an annoyed expression as he stared at Kiana.

"Chaos Realm," Aurianna murmured, stretching out her arm. The entire ruin was engulfed in a rainbow-colored space.

Aurianna appeared in her Regal form, her body fully healed and streaks of rainbow colors crawling on her body like that of blood vessels. The star tattoos on her hand began to bleed rainbow-colored blood, her eyes became black and hollow, and the rainbow crown on her head shone brightly. And she wore a black dress.

"What are these beings?" Boara wondered as massive, deformed angel-like creatures, as tall as Queen, appeared around her. Thirty in total, and they rushed to attack her, all wielding different weapons.

"Where is she?" Boara thought as she fought the Archeons, blasting and tearing their bodies apart, only for them to reform and attack once again. Queen joined the fight in a berserk form, spikes forming around her body with streaks of red lines on her body. She slashed and landed a sword strike that sent Boara crashing into the supposed mountains that were made by the Chaos Realm.

"Behind me!" Boara panicked as she sensed a threat and noticed Aurianna appeared behind her, delivering a barrage of kicks to her spine, sending Boara crashing to the ground.

Boara roared in pain, quickly recovering and dodging Aurianna's subsequent attacks, and blocking some as well.

"Shining Star," Aurianna said calmly and hundreds of stars appeared in the sky.

"This pressure... it can injure me. I have to avoid them," Boara thought, flying around and avoiding the blast attacks. The Archeons, the mutated angels, rushed towards her and held her in place and Boara struggled to get out of their grip and was blasted by the attack. Kiana watched in shock, trembling seeing the explosion created once again burning the entire promised land.

"Their auras are suffocating me, and Aurianna... what's happening to her?" she wondered nervously as she watched as well as Hadina.

“Ahhh, my master has grown so much,” Hadina squealed happily. “But wait master wants her as a familiar? A rival for my master’s love!!!” Hadina gasped and stared at Boara with hateful eyes while she bit on her octopus legs. “If my master gave me orders I would fight that Dragon lady along with her!! How dare she?! Wanting to steal master from me by becoming a familiar!”

‘Hadina I think you got it all wrong,’ Gixo thought as he stared at her through his shield. ‘What does she even think being a familiar is??’ he wondered with teary eyes. ‘Am I truly surrounded by idiots and a crazy master?!’

"That was a close call," Boara sighed, flapping her wings while she was high in the sky, but she felt something was off. So she looked at her arm and her eyes widened in shock.

"My arm is gone? Rarara... wonderful! Wonderful indeed, human. I shall agree to become your familiar!" Boara declared as her arm regrew. Yet, Aurianna's unchanging expression made her uneasy.

"Chi, chi, chi, get ready, here I come!" Aurianna grinned as she appeared beneath Boara and delivered a powerful punch to her gut, sending Boara hurtling into the sky.

‘Ack, what the hell? Her power has multiplied!’ Boara wondered, recovering quickly. She used her two massive paws to swat at Aurianna like a fly, but Aurianna deftly caught Boara's paws and locked eyes with her hollow eyes.

‘Can she not hear me or something?’ Boara thought, bewildered. She was caught off guard again as rainbow spears materialized, piercing her body and everything around them, falling down like rain.

"Arghhhhhh!!!" Aurianna screamed, causing the Chaos Realm to tremble, as she distanced herself from Boara. "Stop messing with my head! Get the hell out!!" she yelled, her eyes returning to normal. Despite this, the Regal lines on her body only grew more.
