Chapter 183: Fighting Kisho 2

Chapter 183: Fighting Kisho 2

*Click* the sound echoed through the desolate cityscape as Kisho unwittingly triggered a hidden landmine. The explosion erupted upon contact, sending crystal shrapnel (fragments of a bomb, shell, or other object thrown out by an explosion. Had to watch war gadget stuff to know this, so pls correct me if I get something wrong. Ishi.) flying in all directions. Remarkably, Kisho emerged from the explosion relatively unscathed, his body easily regenerating even as pieces of his leg were scattered by the blast.

Recovering from the slight surprise, Kisho was startled by a strange hum emanating from the sky above. Squinting upwards, he immediately found out what it was: thousands of guns materialized and floating in the air, all in different shapes and forms, arms appearing in the sky and holding big weapons, each representing one of Aurianna's skills, unleashed simultaneously in a devastating barrage.

Reacting swiftly, Kisho dodged and slipped through every one of her attacks, his senses honed to anticipate every incoming attack. Kisho then decided to counter her attacks. He conjured up a poison bow in his hand, the weapon materializing with an eerie aura. The land around him immediately began to melt and transform into a poisonous swamp that caused the buildings around him to melt. Drawing back an arrow formed from his body, he released it into the air, the projectile shattering into ten thousand poison-laced spikes that intercepted and neutralized Aurianna's relentless gun assault.

As the smoke cleared and the echoes of destruction subsided, the once slightly destroyed city now laid in ruins. Amidst the wreckage, Kisho stood, victorious but a bit displeased.

"She's going all out at this early stage. I can't tell if it's a smart or dumb move?" Kisho murmured to himself, “The best way is to conserve energy to escape from a stronger opponent. But it seems she wants to either use this as training or try her luck and see if she can take me out by unleashing all her skills.”

"Why does she waste so much mana when she knows that it isn't possible for her to be able to defeat me?" he pondered, his brow furrowing.

“Oh well I just need to find her,” he shrugged before dashing forward to find Aurianna.

"Damn it all! Pouring all my mana into those attacks was foolish. He barely got injured by them," she grumbled, berating herself.

“I overestimated my ability, time to run!” She told herself without shame and immediately dashed off.

As Kisho got closer to her, Aurianna's heart pounded in her chest as she felt his presence, a sense of dread washing over her like a wave.

"He's relentless," she thought, her mind racing to thick of a way to avoid any close combat with Kisho.

Despite her best efforts to flee, Kisho closed in within an instant, his body casting a shadow over Aurianna.

“He's here!" She thought as she felt a horrible feeling in her heart and mind causing her to feel like she was drowning in darkness. Her heart was beating fast, her head was spinning. ‘I dislike this feeling. I hate it!’ Aurianna gritted her teeth as this feeling reminded her of when she was going to be burnt alive.

“Found you!" Kisho's suddenly appeared before Aurianna elicited a startled jump from her, her heart pounding in her chest.

"You're way too fast and it’s utterly unfair!" Aurianna protested, her frustration evident as she struggled to keep a distance between them with Kisho's lightning-quick movements.

"Illusion reality!" she used her skill, creating multiple of lifelike illusions that scattered in every direction, providing her with a fleeting opportunity to turn invisible and quickly escape.

As the illusions ran around, Kisho's keen senses were momentarily deceived, allowing Aurianna to slip away unnoticed. Yet, even as she fled, a sense of unease gnawed at her, ‘I must quickly run away and find a place to hide. There is no doubt that with Kisho's abilities he can easily find me.’

"An illusion spell," Kisho mused, his eyes scanning the group of the illusions that looked like Aurianna. They were all running in different directions and some even teased him. Despite seeing these illusions Kishow as calm.

"Even if she's using illusions, my poison particles can easily track her down," he remarked with a confident smirk, conjuring a small orb of poison that dispersed into an invisible mist, permeating the air and spreading extremely fast, till is covered the entire city and even the areas beyond thw city.

Meanwhile, Aurianna found herself racing through the labyrinth streets, her heart pounding with every step as she sought to avoid confrontation with Kisho at the moment, ‘Dammit he's too fast! so this is how strong a level 10,000 is. Reminds me of Queen Shiba but way stronger,’ With each passing moment, the oppressive weight of his aura bore down upon her like a large mountain, driving her mind crazy.

"What's this sinking feeling?" Aurianna wondered, as she felt that same horrible feeling again causing her to grip her chest. "He's drawing near, and it feels suffocating," she gasped, her breath coming in short, ragged gasps as she struggled to maintain her composure as Kisho's aura became stronger.

‘This killing intent!’ Aurianna realized as a scary atmosphere surrounded the land causing her to be unable to run and tremble in fear. Realizing that she could no longer outrun her Kisho, Aurianna's heart sank as Kisho materialized before her amd she turned to meet his eyes.

With a flick of his wrist, Kisho ensnared Aurianna with a rope of poison, his movements fluid and precise as he swung her violently through the air, sending her crashing into a series of dilapidated poison dripping, buildings with bone-jarring force.

Coughing up blood amid the wreckage, Aurianna fought to regain her footing, her body trembling with pain and exhaustion as she struggled to rise from the rubble.

But Kisho showed no mercy, his relentless assault continuing unabated as he hurled her aside with a powerful throw, sending her hurtling through the air like a ragdoll till she fell on a skyscraper and crashed to the bottom floor. Her body battered and broken from the force of the impact.

"Gah!" Aurianna cried out in agony, her vision blurry as she struggled to stay conscious amidst the haze of pain that engulfed her.

"Fuck, shit, shit!" Aurianna cursed through gritted teeth, her frustration boiling over as she grappled with the overwhelming sense of helplessness that threatened to consume her. She watched as her hands trembled and it frustrated her. It made her angry. She was mad that she was feeling fear. ‘I thought I got rid of this. I hate this feeling!”

Yet even when despair threatened to consume her, Aurianna refused to just give up.

"Arcana wings of Seraphim!" she cried out, her voice loud as she used her skill summoning forth a pair of angel wings that glowed with a divine light. The skill immediately healed her broken bones and injured body, as well as replenishing her mana.

"Psycho!" Aurianna's skill activated as red aura covered her and her sclera became black and slowly rainbow coloured lines like crystals traced on her skin. She then immediately got up from her crash site and summoned a pair of sniper guns into her hands.

With a leap, Aurianna soared into the sky, her wings immediately disappeared once the skill time was over and she immediately noticed Kisho from a distance.

"Poison mist, Auras Sogen, Absolute aim, Phantasma, Babylonia, Singing Glory, Deadshot, Cubes of light, Death Lotus, and Courtesy Call! Unleash all at once!" she declared, her voice ringing out as thousands of artillery materialized in the skies above, their muzzles all aimed solely at Kisho.

"I feel scared. My heart is thumping like crazy. Is this what one feels if they are near death? I hate this feeling, so to eliminate it I must surivive!" she resolved.

"Release!!!" Aurianna's command echoed across the city, immediately activating her weapons causing them to unleashe a barrage of blasts and gunfire that destroyed the city but kept their main focus on Kisho.

"Once again with this reckless usage of your skills," Kisho sighed wearily, his body poised for impact as the bullets and blasts converged upon him but he was calm.

The bullets melted harmlessly into his body and the blasts slid off or through him as he moved his body like a liquid.

But despite that Kisho couldn't help but notice at the increasing ferocity of Aurianna's attacks. "Her blasts are stronger now, is she using a berserk skill?" he pondered, noting the intensity of her light blast attacks especially and he casually blocked an incoming light blast with a slap of his hand.

"Poison arrows," Kisho murmured, conjuring a bow and arrow once more, his aim steady as he took aim at Aurianna's relentless barrage of attacks. "This is starting to sting. It's time to bring this to an end so I can get a year's sleep," he muttered to himself, determination flickering in his eyes as he released the bowstring, the arrow dispersing into a multiple arrows of poison that clashed with Aurianna's weapons, effortlessly melting them and sending shockwaves of destruction rippling through the air.

"He neutralized them all with a single shot! The gap in power between us is too vast," Aurianna grunted in frustration, her teeth clenched as she begrudgingly accepted the undeniable truth and gripped the sniper guns in her hands.

"Let me give some wisdom to you," Kisho interjected, appearing before Aurianna. "In a normal scenario, nobody would be so reckless as to unleash all their skills at once. Look at yourself, you're bleeding profusely. Overexerting yourself like this places an immense strain on your body and severely reduces your combat capability’s effectiveness," he advised, his gaze softening as he observed her body trembling in pain.

‘He's right. I just wanted to win quickly, damn it!’ Aurianna cursed inwardly before turning invisible once more and vanishing into thin air, her frustration evident on her face.

"Until next time, Kisho! I'll be back when I'm at my best!" she declared defiantly before darting away.

"Her presence has vanished entirely. Poison air, track her down," Kisho commanded coldly, his eyes narrowing as he focused on locating her.

"I'm grateful for my ability to manipulate light. It should keep me hidden from him for a while. But he's just too powerful! This isn't a fair fight. I only wanted to spar, not fear for my life. But I know I won't truly die... right? Right? Who am I kidding? These are monsters we're dealing with!" Aurianna lamented as she sought refuge in a distant building, putting some much-needed distance between herself and Kisho.

"Raaaaaa!!!!" Aurianna's thoughts were interrupted by a thunderous roar that reverberated through the air like a seismic shockwave. "A dragon's roar... It must be Leila. I can't help but feel sorry for her. Even in her dragon form which is her strongest form, she's just a massive target. Easy for Dokgil to find an opening to attack her. Once I've recuperated, I'll use Round Table against Kisho and see my luck. These next ten years are going to be interesting for training!" Aurianna chuckled wryly.

______

"Hmm, I'm getting closer to her," Kisho muttered, following the trail left by the poison air.

"Another careless mistake. She neglected to mask not only her magic but also her scent, particularly the scent of her blood," Kisho sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.

"Well, let's put an end to this swiftly so I can finally get some rest," he told himself, a weariness evident in his voice as he pressed on, his eyes heavy with exhaustion.
