"Which one would she like?"

"Maybe I should take a picture and send it to her? I mean... that's not a bad idea, I guess?" I took my phone out of my pocket and took a picture of the mirrors, sending it to Kaori afterward.

Suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. "Yo, kid~! Long time no see." He said with a smug smile on his face.

I looked at the cashier. "Oh... yeah, Hello sir..." I said as I hid my phone in my pocket.

The cashier looked at the mirrors. "So what? You've run out of mirrors? After buying so many last time~?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah... we could say that, tho this time it's for my little sister, her stupid ass broke another mirror... eh... it's really hard to live with such a brat." I sighed in defeat.

"Hmm... Did something happen?" He asked with a slight amount of worry in his voice.

I looked at him in confusion. "No? Why?" I asked.

"I don't know! It's just that you're kinda different than you were the last time we met, kid~! I don't see the spark in your eyes anymore, and can't feel the enthusiasm that was coming from you like radioactivity in Chernobyl after a certain boom~!" He laughed softly.

"You say so?"

"Yep, it's kinda sad to see such a kiddo become so gloomy in such a short period of time." He said with frustration.

"Maybe you're right? Life's been fucking me in the ass soo much lately that I barely can withstand it, tho I'm too far to give up." I sighed again.

"Then just take a break, you have a free week now, right?"

"Then relax! Spend time with your family! Go fishing in Minato Bay! Just do anything that could brighten you up for some time and everything's gonna solve itself!" He said with a lot of enthusiasm.

My phone buzzed and I took it out of my pocket, looking at the messages.

[New Message: Kaori: "Finally answered, you idiot! The one on the left is cute, take it, or else there will be no dinner for you!"]

I looked at him. "But it's not like things are happening to me, they're happening because of me..." I muttered under my nose.

"Sometimes life needs to throw you around, the more unrealistic your goal is, the more it will injure you, but if you won't do anything, then nothing will happen, that's why no matter if things are happening to you, or because of you, taking a break from everything is the best option." He said.

"The whole point is to do something for yourself rather than for the others from time to time."
