It was 10 PM. I was standing in the same spot where I woke up in a pool of blood two days ago.

"Haha~... Just think about it... how many things can change in one week!" I closed my eyes.

The sound of her boots got louder and louder with each step she took. I opened my eyes and looked into hers.

"Don't you think so, Bubblegum~?" I smiled at her.

She stopped walking and laughed softly.

"Ahuhu~, 'Bubblegum' you say? I wonder why did you come up with a nickname for me just now, Nakamura Shoji, is it out of fear that you'll die tonight~? What's with all that blood on your clothes anyways?" She asked playfully, putting her finger on her lips.

"I've always thought that you're a cruel individual, Carmilla. Dying is also very, very painful, so I would like to avoid this ending, y'know~?"

"What were you doing when you were absent for those two days, Shoji? I mean... you were so pathetic on Wednesday... you were pleading with me to spare your life! It was sooo... pathetic and disgusting that I cannot even describe it~!"

"I just wonder... what the hell are you up to, Nakamura Shoji." Her voice turned icy cold.

"I will defeat you, Carmilla. Remember the rules?"

"Of course, I do~! If you win, I promise to never try to kill you again, but if I win, then I'll shred you to pieces~!" She said that in a cute tone as if it was nothing.

I tapped my chin playfully in fake wonder. "I wonder if you would want to give up right now, Carmilla."

She took a step closer. "Huh? What do you mean by 'give up right now'? Our fight hasn't even begun yet~!"

"You love Haruki, very much, don't you, Carmilla~?"

"I do, so what?" Her voice turned cold yet again.

"Huh... Something's wrong... She usually gets flustered when I'm mentioning that... and is always trying to reject this statement..."

"What would you do if Haruki somehow received your softs~?" I asked her while taking a step closer.

"What...?!" Her pink eyes started to glow a little.

"Oh, I see... I see... using the lie detector already, huh? Everything's going according to my plan right now..."

"There's a certain video that's scheduled to be sent to Haruki in 5 hours from now on. Do you know what is on the video?"

"No? What's on it?! Answer my question right now!" She screamed at me.

"It's a video that was recorded in the girls changing room. Don't you think that it would be sooo embarassing~? The guy who you love, could see your body before you two even start dating... what might he think of you? What might he think of you after seeing a video like this, huh?"

"Haruki-kun... Will see my body...?" She said softly, looking down on the ground.

She stood there in silence for a couple of seconds.

She began laughing as if she was insane.

"HAHAHAHAHH~! YOU STUPID! YOU STUPID IDIOT! HAHAHAHH! SO THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE BEEN COOKING UP FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS?! OH MY DEVIL! IT'S... IT'S... SO FUNNY~!"

My eyes widened as I took a step back, the first sparks of uncertainty and fear appearing in my soul.

"What are you... What are you talking about, Carmilla...?" I said with confusion in my voice.

"Two days ago... your stupid plan might've worked~. But you see, Shoji... today... I and Haruki... have officially become a couple~!" She said with her voice and eyes filled with unhealthy amounts of love.

I took a few more steps back. My hands started to shake and my confidence had disappeared.

"No... what are you talking about?!" I screamed at her.

She started to get closer even faster, her tail swaying slowly.

"You know, Shoji... you've recorded me and my friends when we were in our underwear... that kinda makes me... want to kill you even more, I guess~?"

I snatched the revolver out of my belt and pointed it at her.

"Ka Yano!" I pulled the trigger, releasing the Dark bullet from the barrel.

"Kyuy Chia." She raised her hand and the ground morphed into a wall that blocked the bullet.

"Kyuy?! What the fuck?! I remember Sebas explaining spells to me... Kyuy is the strongest second-tier spell! How can she... HOW?!"

"And it's not just it... a bullet travels at 400 meters per second... she must already be on Vymir enhancement... not to mention that she must have a lot of it to have the reaction and processing time so quick..."

"How did you manage to lay your hands on Dark Magic and learn the first spell in two days...?"

"Whatever... You'll die anyways, Shoji... but you managed to surprise me... so I'm giving you five seconds to run!"

I smirked slightly as I remembered what Sebas had told me yesterday after I regained consciousness.

"Shoji, I forgot to tell you, but your Vymir regenerates very fast, if you minimalize the strength of your Vymir enhancement, then your Vymir will regenerate quicker than it is being used, so you will have a slightly weaker, but constant version of Vymir Enhancement on your body," Sebas said while putting me on the shoulder.

"You were right Sebas! It's slightly draining and exhausting... but I've been in this state since the morning!"

I started to run away from her, my speed had increased three-fold from what it was normally.

"Ahuhuhu~! You've also managed to learn Vymir Enhancement!? Hmm... it's intriguing... tho still pathetic~" She said loudly enough, making sure for me to hear as I ran into a dark alley.

"Five... four... three... two... one... playtime is over~!" The beautiful longsword that she once cut my head off with, appeared in her right hand as she started to chase after my ass.

"Why are you so hesitant to kill me, Carmilla? I haven't done anything bad to you... never! Maybe just teased you sometimes... but that's it! I thought that we were friends! After all... you've been hanging out with us since middle school!" I screamed at her while running away.

"Yes you're right, Shoji. We are friends... but I don't understand why are you constantly lying..."

"You see... you're constantly lying to us... I cannot take it anymore... I feel like the three of us are getting more and more distanced... just because of your lack of honesty..."

"Not that I would care right now... I'm with Haruki now... that's been my dream for a long time... I don't have to fight you, Shoji."

"THEN WHY DO YOU WANT TO KILL ME?! WHY DO YOU WANT ME DEAD SO MUCH?!" I ran into a dark alley and leaned against the wall on the dead end.

The ground was covered with thousands of pieces of shattered mirrors.

"I BEEN DOING THIS TO PROTECT HIM FROM YOU! I DO THIS OUT OF MY LOVE FOR HIM! YOU COULD NEVER UNDERSTAND IT, BECAUSE YOU'RE A FUCKING UNFEELING BASTARD WHO ONLY DRAGS PEOPLE AROUND HIM DOWN TO HIS LEVEL! YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO YOUR FAMILY AND THE WORLD ITSELF!"

I teared up after hearing it and I sat down on the ground. "Yeah.. you're right... that's how it was..."

She walked up to me, pointing the tip of her longsword at my neck. "What do you mean... 'how it was'...?" She asked curiously.

"Lately... I've felt it..."

"What are you talking about? What did you feel?" She asked, clearly confused.

"For the first time... I've done something good to a stranger... and I've also saved someone very dear to me..."

"I want to experience this warmth again... I want to help more people... I want to be... a good person."

She just stood there in silence and disbelief, her eyes glowing.

"I was honest to her, that's why she is surprised... but it's my obvious chance right now... plan B might work out..."

"You... you're not lying...? But...-"

"Mix: Painless Freeze..." I muttered under my nose and she didn't seem to hear it.

"No... that doesn't change anything..."

"Do you have any last words, Shoji?" She asked coldly, thrusting the longsword into my stomach, without a moment of hesitancy.

"Aghh... fuck it hurts... hurts hurts hurts..." I growled in pain.

I smirked and spat out some blood, pointing my revolver at the two-sided mirror that I've bought two days ago.

"I know a mirror guy."

She looked up and rolled her eyes, giggling softly.

"A mirror? What can a mirror do again-..."

"KA HILO!" I screamed and pulled the trigger.

Carmilla tried to move away, but her right shoe was attached to the ground with ice.

"HOW DID YOU?! MY SPE-..." Suddenly a giant beam of light hits her.

I coughed out some blood and leaned against the wall even more. The longsword that was stuck in my stomach disappeared.

"So the plan B is also a fail, huh? I thought that I would buy enough time to regenerate my Vymir after I used Yano... but I've underestimated her speed... and here I am... closer to winning than ever before... yet dying slowly... only luck would save-..." I wanted to check my heartbeat, but when I placed my hand on the uniform, I felt something.

I took a bottle of holy water out of my uniform's pocket.

"I've forgotten I have this! Yeah! I remember when Sebas gave it to me, tho I never drank it in the end!" I quickly drank the whole bottle.

The nausea and pain immediately let me know it was here. For a good minute, I was lying there in pain until it all finally went away.

I stood up, pulling Carmilla out of the beam of light. I took off my uniform and placed it under her head as a pillow.

"I actually won... haha... hahaha... ha..."

"What now?"

"Kill her, Shoji. Kill her and consume her! She's powerful! Do it! Kill her! You've won! Her fate is to become a part of your power... do it, Shoji!"

"Huh? Why am I saying all that...? Oh... I feel bad... again..."

"I won't kill her... that's... not what... friends... do..."

My vision started to get more and more blurry until I lost consciousness.
