"I can't decipher what it is" is the first thing Rosalina said when I looked in front of the shiny black-gray lump that appeared out of nowhere.
"It wasn't here yesterday" I said.
"It's not a living being, I don't recognize any physiological processes or possible mechanical activity that can indicate biological activity" she replied
I took the weapon and activated it, but I noticed that it was out of ammo. I decided instead to replace the ammunition that I don't have much, I pulled out the plasma knife instead and moved backward towards the equipment and put it on my back:
"What's not clear, I think it was a good time to get away so that they can use as many daylight hours as possible" I said before walking away from the ruin and from it also the strange block.
I kept walking away from the place and now that the fog had cleared and I could see my way, navigating didn't feel too difficult. The land is dry and easy to walk on, and the forest that looked scary and evil in the darkness and the remnants of the fog has brightened to resemble any simple fantasy forest. In a flash, the entire map was filled with various and varied points of creatures that probably wouldn't want to interact with me. In some places compared to when I was looking for a place to rest, ruins are hardly visible on the way. And in the background, high in the sky, stood the high space elevator that reached up to the clouds and was swallowed up into the sky. If not the map, then he would lead the way. Cries echoed all over the forest while I saw among the branches little flying creatures jumping from tree to tree accompanying my path, waiting to see what I was doing. When I stared back at them, they stood still and looked at me with their eight eyes and bee-like wings, and flexible body of a chicken, and a beak with bared teeth, each of them penetrated deeply into my soul, as if they wanted to eat my soul. Admittedly, Rosalina does not define them as hostile:
"According to their physiological activity, they simply follow you thinking that you are a possible food provider"
"So now I've become a food courier now?" I said sarcastically as I continued to walk past a large rock. Mouse-like creatures jumped out of them in fright and some of the group of strange birds that followed me jumped from the branches and rushed towards the mouse houses and caught them and began to eat them. I always forget how cruel nature can be sometimes. Not like I've experienced it more than once so far. I kept moving forward while they hopped on to your next meal and finally, I started grabbing onto a hill in front of me. The height was not high, but it was a little steep. I wanted to catch a little bit of what awaits me next. In the end, after an easy climb, I stood on its summit and the view spread far and wide: below the space elevator, all the missing skyscrapers of the metropolis became a circle spread out. Every skyscraper was filled with climbing plants and in some even strange and varied trees in their pink-red color, but most of them didn't seem to last any better than the ones I passed before. All the streets that passed between the buildings are empty. It's good for me when I want to get to a place quickly instead of getting tangled up in the vegetation. After another short stand, I looked at the view, I continued to move forward and down towards the empty streets.
The more I went down, the more dirty and cracked the streets were, but no vegetation grew there. I continued to move between the brown scrapers which, looking closely, are so cracked and there are many holes on them that I could walk through and see what was in them. And as I guessed, there is nothing in them that catches my eye or can help me. But if so many holes, but they last so far?
I went deeper and deeper into the metropolis and with them, all the dots disappeared from the map and a fall of red leaves began to cover the rest of the streets from the height of the buildings. The sight was heartening as in an autumn festival and gave the place an indescribably beautiful red-pink hue. From all the beauty that covered the streets, I wanted to pick one of them up, but all of that was suddenly replaced by something strange that appeared out of nowhere:
"I recommend that you do not touch these petals," she said: "They contain toxins that can kill you in minutes in terrible pain by touching them. I recommend that you not be present in the area in case you want to do this or take off your suit."

I quickly backed away from the thought of touching them. Thanks to Rosalina, she ruined my experience of the wild and strange beauty that is a poisonous and dangerous forest. No wonder there is no living creature in this place. I decided following this to move quickly away from the place. While my whole suit started to get covered in them, along with the equipment and the rest of the area. I continued to move forward on the ground which became a little more slippery than most of the leaves. As much as I could, I just pushed myself to get away from that deadly throw as fast as I could and black clouds began to appear in the sky and a strong wind began to blow. All the wind because of the buildings started to create a strong air movement blowing because I'm walking towards it, making it difficult for me to move forward and try to escape from it and even the petals lying on the ground started flying away from me.
I had a strong feeling that a storm was approaching and realized with great understanding that I must find shelter among the buildings, away from any possible hole. Unlike the previous time I had something like this, it's a much more difficult task that in each of them, big, wide holes and fragments are in every corner I look. Eventually, as I made my way against the growing wind, I found something similar to what I thought - a skyscraper that didn't have many holes and was wide enough for me to go inside. After a few steps, I took in his direction, suddenly a loud breaking noise seemed and echoed everywhere. I looked to the sides and then the whole screen of my helmet started showing red. Deep in my heart, I already expected something like this to happen to me:
"Run to the sides!" Rosalina said as the helmet directed me to move towards one of the buildings to the sides. I didn't have time to react when I started to notice that the same skyscraper I wanted to move towards started dropping fragments and then one big boom sounded high and it started collapsing in my direction! I started running towards the building where Rosalina directed me and I jumped straight into it. Inside the structure I jumped to, there was a lot of rot and fern everywhere I looked until the smell of stench spread all over the place, but I focused on escaping the affected area and went deeper. Then I heard an extremely big boom behind me and all the dust and some of the petals scattered everywhere while I even felt the shock wave created by the plane crash from the skyscraper.
I suddenly heard fragments very close to me. My instincts said even before Rosalina left that I had to get away from here too. I began to grope quickly and running between the rooms and corridors and found a large hole on the other side and began to move towards it. Suddenly part of the ceiling collapsed and crashed right in front of the big hole, blocking my way. I started to panic and started trying to find another way. On the other side, I saw another smaller hole and without thinking twice, I quickly ran to it. Hearings of cracks and breaks were heard everywhere until I heard one big boom a few moments before I reached the hole and the whole ground floor started to collapse. I jumped towards the hole and noticed that I could not go through the hole because of the equipment.
"I won't make it!" I shouted before I saw the ceiling start to fall on me. I thought deep in my heart that this is the end of me and I closed my eyes.
Suddenly I feel a touch behind me that holds me tight and I felt that I was moving towards the hole and managed to get through it, while jerking, I flew from the outside and hit the ground of the streets so hard that the cables were called and all the storage cells were scattered everywhere. I opened my eyes and noticed everything that happened and dust and fragments collided with me and hid the conversion of the collapsing building. There was no second thought and I ran away from the place and saw the skyscraper collapsing within a few moments, I lost everything except my knife and some of the cells that slid from the majority of the impact that was created and I found myself miraculously alive.
I tried to get up despite the pain from the blows from the fall and the collision and I looked around while trying to collect all the surviving cells. Not much survived, but the ammo for the rifle, one water tank, and an empty cell are all I have left of this thing. The wind continued to blow hard while I could see what was left of it - a large and wide pile of rubble, concrete, and steel with a few branches of the pink trees decorating it. I knelt in grief and pain trying to understand just one thing, how - who pushed me?
After a brief thought, I moved towards the pile, not thinking about the approaching storm or what happened a few moments ago and trying to look for more cells that managed to survive somehow and answer this question, but I could not pick up the heavy fragments and the scattered glass. I eventually gave up and started trying to collect and pick up what I could and try to find shelter before more trouble came. Suddenly a noise emanated from the stack as I moved away from it. The movement of shards and glass sounded like someone was struggling to get out of it. Soon I just look and move backward until the whole pile has dispersed and from it comes a gray-black lump that just swells from the place. The first thing I did was run away from here and never look back. But something stopped me when I heard something from there:
"help my"
