It is always said that a person will always do everything just to satisfy his basic needs if they are lacking. They will ignore other things Barak to achieve. That's how I feel now as I try to prepare all the things for my first meal without the printer. Basilisk's body I already tried to at least separate it and the grill I found I looked around the place by the entrance to the terminal for any burning materials. On the sides grew strange climbing plants that looked like long thin trees with red leaves and black holes. I approached them and they had a smell that reminded me of vanilla. At first, I ignored them, not before trying to look somewhere else in the vicinity, but I went back and cut some of them while I was running the grill. I saved the rest for another occasion.
I don't remember cooking like this forever, and it was especially noticeable while I was mixing the pieces of meat with the overgrown eggs I found. With the vanilla smell of the fire coming out of the grill, with the wok full of meat and eggs spread all over the place and I'm just irritated by the smell, maybe because of my hunger. And when I felt to myself that everything was ready, I took a bite of the meat and egg stew. Its taste was bland but its aroma was not bad for my taste. It didn't take long until I finished everything I cooked and the rest on a second try trying to smoke the meat. The smoke from the smelly vanilla plant slows the place down and made me move and try to explore the place around a bit more.
By the time I finished checking more things that were as empty as a vacuum I organized everything and the smoked meat the room looked a little smokier and with it, I finally say hello to the terminal that helped me find the things while I'm driving the car with all the things away from the entrance. As I progressed along the route, the place became more and more of a huge maze. If I didn't have the map with the route, I would be lost and maybe lose my humanity, becoming one of them. don't want to think about it
Along the way, I entered a large tunnel that seems not intended for the passage of cars with all these tracks, they remind me of a transit station for a bullet cable car.
"It's towards a bullet cable car track" Rosalina confirmed what I thought
"Why are you taking me there? Are you sure the car won't get stuck there?"
"Negative, all calculations according to the map were carried out with optimal considerations"
"Okay, I trust you"
On the way, there was a ramp that led straight into a large and long hollow rail structure. I followed the track and there I see the long track in the center which was a kind of thin rail for transporting the cable cars, I stopped in front of the entrance to the track and got out of the car. There I looked closely and compared the 2 intervals before asking Rosalina:
"Are you sure he can ride them?"
"Positive. The gap shouldn't affect the delicate systems of this car"
"Okay, it's just because I don't want if the bullet cable car happens to still be working, it will crash the car, along with us."
"Don't worry, the cable car works on an energy source, and since there is no evidence of energetic activity coming from the tracks, the route is safe for travel. However, if by chance there are cable cars that block the passage, we will need to find or get down in another way"
I want to believe that it's true, but what I'm going to do now also comes simply from the fact that we don't know if it's true or if she's just aiming for the fastest way, which is what I want, but here it's a game of risk. If I choose this way, it is probably the fastest and safest, at least up to a certain distance. Because I don't want to run into something strange or dangerous the other way. But if by chance my fear is true, I think my life is on the line. I looked at the track for a while until I came to a safe decision:
"Rosalina, could you calculate another route that would not require traveling on this route?"
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
"Positive, rethinking route..."
The fact that AI is not able to argue about commands just feels like it helps me, but in the second situation, it doesn't feel like a human to talk, something I haven't seen in more than a week. I don't know how long I will have to wait or pass until I can meet another person. Soon the new route appeared, away from the route of the cable car. I drove back from the ramp and turned the steering wheel in the direction of the new route and followed it. The new route that arrived went through the maze of turns of the terminal building and I traveled along it for quite some time. Inside the building, there was no light and I relied mainly on the map, flashlights, and Rosalina's senses. At the end of a trip outside the "maze", I saw a light that popped out in front of me, signifying that it was the exit from the place. I started to accelerate in his direction. As a rule, the closer I drove, the stronger the light.
"Stop the drive" Rosalina started calling and I braked quickly.
The screeching sound of the car's white tires echoed loudly throughout the empty building where the route I took passed. The light only got stronger as I braked until I found myself outside and the car stopped. My face turned to the sun and blinded him, and in an automatic response she put the helmet mode on solar filtering and I saw what she meant by stopping: the route that if I hadn't stopped in time, I would have fallen into the abyss created by the collapse of the bridge that the route was on. The fragments are still falling off the track and I put the gearbox in the car into reverse and quickly drove away. I got out of the car and walked to the edge of the chasm that had formed, and below it, a large and wide forest stretched across the horizon, with the other end of the bridge seemingly hiding behind a skyscraper. I look to the sides and I see a similar scene with the other bridges.
"I rethought a route... no route was found according to what you instructed and according to new information"
"Unbelievable, I thought the map was up to date"
"Negative, it was never stated that the map is up-to-date. Don't forget that it's from a message, not from the robot itself"
I thought about it for a few moments before she was right. The sun has started to set again and I am debating what to do now. I think if everything is broken, then maybe my only way out is to either go back or get on the bullet cable car track.
"What do you suggest I choose" I asked her
"I suggest going back to the original route. But the choice is yours"
"I don't think there is a choice here"
I made my way back to the car not before looking at the sunset and starting to drive. The whole ride back feels the same as before. But what was different was that this time points of living creatures appeared on the road, but I don't want to focus on them right now and they don't block my way. Eventually, I returned to the station and to the ramp that leads to the cable car track and began gently moving the car on the track. One wheel was on one side and then the other wheel as well and the whole car had already gone into it.
I took a deep breath, praying my fears were just a nightmare, and started the car onto the track. The car moved on the track and quickly slid on it as before. It was easy to follow the route there is no wrong way. The rail went into the tunnel and darkness began to envelop me again as I drove deeper and deeper into the set of stages.
In a short time, dots appeared on the map and a blue light appeared in front of me that was getting stronger. I wanted to close my eyes, but I couldn't if I didn't want to crash into the wall. The blue light got closer and closer. I prayed inside that it was just an illusion, and as soon as I crossed the walls, I was surprised to find that the blue light came from the ceilings in the form of points, like stars in the sky, while they show me the tracks that all the bullet cable cars are concentrating on, like their enema or highway, deep in the earth. Some of them began to fall elegantly and beautifully, like fireflies dancing in a romantic dance.
"These do not contain any physiological activity that is supposed to harm you" Rosalina confirmed as I both try to understand these beautiful blue sparks and stay focused on the course she is directing me on.
"According to information, most of the genetic segments come from many different spiders," she pointed out
"Thank you very much for ruining my experience of beauty" I try to keep concentrating on the route lit by blue living stars until at the end I see something that resembles an exit. I drove carefully, unlike last time. And when I went out, the track continued to spread forward and there is no chasm in the way, but the darkness has already covered the place. After a while, I started to feel exhausted. Rosalina directed me to a nearby station and I found myself stopping there.
When I got out of the car to do my thing, I saw only at the broken end of the track I was able to make out a bullet cable that stopped completely on the track in front of me, covered with vegetation. All my concerns subsided when I realized that the risk I took paid off in the end, but you also have to be careful and expect the worst. And listen more to Rosalina even if she doesn't explain most vaguely.
