After the shocking battles, Alfi has great dizziness in his head. He is trying to open his eyes as he is wondering what just has happened before. As he remembered, he had a clash with Varz’s new magic power. He could tell that it should have been a strong one that it might be the cause why he ended up falling unconscious like right now.

“Arrghhh.” Alfi moaned in dizziness as he finally opened his eyes.

He finds himself in a room that looks like a throne chamber. It’s a dark blue stone-walled grand room that gives an eerie impression. There is a grand throne before him, he can see Varz is sluggishly sleeping while being tied in a cross-legged position just like him, and he can see the other princess of Hell standing on the side alongside Kartika.

Alfi then suddenly becomes anxious as he finally realizes that the one who settled the battle was Kartika herself. He also remembered that she beat him by stepping on his dick that he came a lot several times.

What a disgusting masochist.

Alfi then becomes pale as if his PTSD is getting at him. He doesn’t want that to happen again, but on the other side, he wants his dick getting stepped on again, but gently.

Levi then rushes to Alfi and unties him.

“Are you okay?” Levi asked worriedly.

“Yes, thanks, Levi.” He answered while Levi helped him to get up.

He can see that Kartika is still sulking. But, instead of saying sorry, he just ignores her as he has no idea what makes her mad at him.

Belphegor then laughs and approaches Alfi and Levi followed by Lilith.

“I didn’t expect that you are this naughty, son,” Belphegor said.

“Mad? What are you talking about?”

“That girl is something, you know?” Belphegor points at the sulking Kartika. “And as the result was out of expectation, I could have all the loots from the bidding standing I ran. Hahahahahaha!” She bursts out a laugh.

“Wait? You made a bidding stand?!” Alfi can’t believe what he just heard.

“Why not? What is a battle would be without putting something on the line, right?”

“Despicable.” Alfi sighed.

“Well, I am a devil, why can’t I be? You don’t wanna be a rebellious son? Know Malin Kundang?”

P.S Malin Kundang is one of the folklores in Indonesia. It tells about a rebellious son getting cursed into a son by his old mother.

“But, Mad, do you expect me to pray to god so you won't consider me a rebellious son?” Alfi asked.

“Don’t you dare! Do more sins, you Bozzo.”

“Very well, my dear bitchy bimbo.”

The family then bursts out laughing.

“On top of that,” Lilith said. “Where did you get that human?” Lilith asked.

“Well, she is Kartika. My partner.” Alfi said.

“Partner of?” Lilith asked.

“Well, she said that I am the world protector.”

“Well, then you can leave her and stay here for a peaceful life,” Lilith said.

“What?” Kartika can’t believe what she just heard,

“What did you say?!” Kartika is walking approaching Lilith and the others.

“One step closer, and you are dead, little mam,” Lilith said in a threatening tone. “You hear me, right? Alfi will stay here he has nothing to do in your world anymore.”

“But, how about the world if it loses its protector?!”

“Why should he bother it? Even the one he is supposed to protect doesn’t give a fuck about him.” Lilith said.

“So what? Isn’t it normal for a devil like you to see your kind gets hurt like that?! You would just laugh him off, right?! ”

“As a devil, yes. But, as a mother, no.”

Lilith opens her palm and Kartika’s body float out of the blue. Kartika is shocked by seeing it, yet Alfi doesn’t do a thing but stands there without showing any concern about her. Lilith then slowly half-clenches her hand and Kartika feels as if she is being strangled.

“I am a devil, but I am also a mother. A mother who had been yearning for his lost son for years. You will never know how painful it is to see how cruel the world treats him? Do you know how many times he almost died?! Do you know how many people want his death?! Do you know how many of our personnel sacrifice their lives to save him?!”

“Kuh-“ Kartika moaned painfully as Lilith moves her hand.

“If you think why I didn’t go to fetch him myself and spent the rest of the time just sleeping, you are an idiot. Thanks to your God, I can’t go to your world at all and no non-mortal can get close to him that he has to find his way to get here himself!”

She opens her palm and drops her arm slamming Kartika’s body to the floor.

“Arrrggggh!” Kartika screamed painfully.

“Kartika!” Varz who just woke up exclaimed. “Hey, idiot! Why did you let her hurt Kartika like that?!” Varz yells at Alfi.

Levi then appears before him and says, “Can you not interfere with this family problem?”

“Alfi,” Kartika called Alfi as she sobbed. “I know you can hear me.”

Alfi doesn’t say a thing.

“I am sorry for bothering your family reunion. I know that I am being very insolent, but please hear me out.” She sobbed.

“Mom.” Alfi averts his eyes to Lilith.

Lilith just puts a sour face while nodding.

“Just do what you want, sweetheart.”

“I know that we haven’t that long to know each other. But, I know that you are just a nice guy with a poor fate. Everybody hates you, everybody ignores you, everybody dumps you. You must have thought that I was just using you for my own advantage by making you hurt yourself for this world’s sake. But no! We want you to stay with us! We want to fight with you! You are our friend!” She exclaimed.

Kartika with all of his might slowly gets up and walks approaching Alfi. As she has been close to him, she hugs him. Seeing that, Levi is getting upset and about to kick Kartika’s ass, but Belphegor suddenly pulls her back collar telling her no to ruin her mood now.

Alfi is shocked by what is Kartika doing right now. He can feel her tears get his shoulder wet.

“Kartika… You.” Alfi said.

“That must be painful, right? You have been hurt for a long time without anyone helping you. But, you can just share the grief with us. You don’t need to feel the pain by yourself anymore. I know that you let yourself get hurt to protect us, but we are not happy to see you like that.” Kartika sobbed.

“Kartika…”

“I am sorry for causing you trouble all this time! I am sorry for getting you into trouble all this time! I didn’t mean to! I never did! I just want this world to stay in piece, but in the end, I have made you suffer a lot! I do care about you! I really do! So please, don’t leave us! I want you to join with us not because we want to protect the world, it’s because we want you to stay with us.” She pleaded.

“Enough already!” Lilith then pulls Kartika off Alfi. “He won’t get anywhere!” Lilith then opens her palm to the wall and something like a black swirl appears on the wall sucking Kartika slowly.

“Alfi!” Kartika exclaimed as she is trying to let herself not get sucked into the swirl.

“Arrrgh!” Varz is seen getting sucked into the swirl.

“VARZ!” Kartika exclaimed.

“Don’t worry, I just sent him back to your world. I have promised my son not to hurt his beloved friends who always make him suffer.” Lilith said.

“We don’t make him suffer!” Kartika talked back.

“Oh, really? So who let him get knocked out by six persons on the beach? You even didn’t try to help him. Instead, he let himself get knocked out to save you, unworthy princess.”

“Alfi, please listen to me! I am weak! I do always need you to protect me! But I never take it for granted! Do you know how hard it is to see you suffer for protecting me?! I always train myself so I can return the favor, but I just can’t! Alfi! Please!” Kartika pleaded while sobbing.

“No matter how hard you train, you won’t be able to be as strong as us. Begone!”

The sucking is getting stronger that Kartika loses her footing and starts to float to the center of the swirl.

“ALFI!!!!!”

As she is about to get sucked, Suddenly Alfi rushes to the swirl and destroys it by piercing it with Tipit. As the black swirl is destroyed, Kartika falls and Alfi catches her with his arms. He looks like gives her a princess carry that Levi gets madder by seeing it.

“Kartika, I never regret protecting you, you know that?” Alfi smiles at her.

Kartika is smiling with her teary eyes and says, “You, idiot.”

“Alfi, what have you done?” Lilith seems to be angry that Alfi finds himself getting ambushed by so many scorpions around him. “I hope you have a good reason for this.”

Alfi and Kartika are getting agitated. Levi is about to help, but she hesitates as Lilith’s power is intimidating. Not to mention that Lilith’s body is seen growing so many snakes all over her body.

In the middle of the tension, suddenly Lucifer appears before them. His presence is intimidating that the scorpions and snakes vanish just seeing him in no time.

“I hate to interfere with a family problem, but I think it’s just exaggerating!” Lucifer said.

“Lord Lucifer!” Lilith is shocked by Lucifer’s sudden entrance. “I didn’t mean to.”

“I understand, Lilith, you just have to calm down.” Lucifer soothed her up. “We can’t kill anyone inside this castle, moreover, it’s our honorable guest.”

“But, she is a human!”

“Though she is, she has the nerve to talk with us,” Lucifer said.

Lucifer then turns around to Alfi.

“You can let her down, young mister,” Lucifer said.

“Ah, I am sorry.” Alfi then lets Kartika down slowly with both faces blushing.

“Young love is some entertainment we need here.” Lucifer gives them an eerie smile.

Alfi and Kartika refuse to deny it. They just avert their gaze somewhere with their blushed face.

“So, Alfi,” Lucifer said in his usual tone.

“Yes, my lord,” Alfi responded.

“As the eighth prince of Hell. You don’t have anything to do in the mortal world. You are supposed to live here, with us.” Lucifer said.

“I’m sorry my Lord. I’m sorry for my impudence, but I do have a request. My very first plea.” Alfi said in a firm tone.

“Alfi.” Belphegor is getting anxious about Alfi’s statement.

Lucifer just raised his hand and closes and opens his eyes.

“Tell me,” Lucifer said.

“I still have an unfulfilled business left in the world, and I feel like I have to finish it first,” Alfi explained.

“Protecting the world, right?”

“Right.”

“Why do you think you are responsible for that? Why don’t you have that friend of yours find your replacement?”

“I can’t.”

“Why?”

“It’s because I am not sure there is someone as strong as me. That’s why I have to do it myself.” Alfi smirked.

Lucifer then smirked and says, “Sure you may return to the mortal world.”

“Lord Lucifer!” Lilith suddenly calls Lucifer. “I implore you to see reason. I just met my son and I have to let him go?” She starts to cry.

“Lilith, I understand the pain, but it’s his own decision. A prince of Hell must know the consequences of every action they choose. You must know what I mean, right? Belphegor?” Lucifer said.

“Right, my lord,” Belphegor said.

Lilith then falls to her knee and cries.

“My baby, I lose my baby again.”

“I…” Kartika suddenly speaks up. “I’ll make sure to protect him!”

Kartika’s statement gets on Lilith’s nerve that she yells at her.

“HOW DARE YOU SPEAK THAT CASUALLY BEFORE US YOU, INFERIOR HUMAN!”

“SILENCE!” Lucifer exclaimed.

Lilith then shuts up and continues crying.

“Kartika,” Lucifer calls her.

“Right.” She responded firmly with a bit of fear seen on her face.

“Can you keep that promise of yours?”

That question intimidates her though Lucifer said it casually without a threatening tone.

She gulps and nods.

“Very well.”

A black hole appears on the wall.

Alfi and Kartika nod and are about to enter the hole.

“Alfi,” Lucifer called him.

“Yes, my lord?” Alfi responded turning around.

Lucifer opens his right hand and suddenly a violet orb appears on his hand.

“You must need this. Take it.”

The orb flies and enters his body. He can feel a great surge of Mana flowing through his entire body.

“From now on, you are one of us.” He smiled. “Please don’t forget to pay us a visit.”

“Oh right,” Alfi recalled something that he is searching something in his pocket.

It’s an orange glowing stone with a chat bubble symbol on it. The Ro Stone Rian gave him before.

“It’s…” Lucifer is shocked by seeing it.

“I think it’s safe to keep it here. It’s too dangerous if they know I have it.” Alfi said in a serious tone.

“I concur. Something like this is too dangerous to lie on the mortal world.” Lucifer throws the stone at Belphegor.

It looks like Belphegor is good at something like this. Her face even looks really serious as well as Levi’s and Lilith’s.

“Thank you for everything, I’ll be back once everything is finished,” Alfi said.

“Just take your time. You are messing with a great threat, you know? Don’t hesitate to call us for reinforcement.” Lucifer suggested.

“Will do sir,” Alfi said.

Alfi and Kartika then hold hands and enter the hole.

Belphegor, Lilith, and Levi wave at them.

After Alfi’s departure. Belphegor is getting anxious.

“It’s Waku-Waku,” Belphegor said. “Levi, I’m sorry, but can you watch him again?”

“I plan to,” Levi said vanishing in a blink.

“Honey, should we do something?” Lilith asked anxiously.

“Don’t worry,” Lucifer said. “As long as we have this.”

Lucifer snatches the Ro Stone from Belphegor’s hand.

“He can defeat them without our help. But if things get worse, I’ll get there to finish them off! I can’t let the same mistake happen again!”
