You can see a big table with five creatures taking a seat around it in that grand room. A gentle classic symphony plays relaxing their minds.

'Ah. There's no better place to relax than this place.' Alfi said.

'I'm impressed, Alfi. You are even able to build a 5-star hotel in a jiffy. I wonder what you can do with the power you possess.' Jeje said.

'Same here.' Buriko added.

'Me too.' Cocong added.

'Tell us, Alfi.' Aoi who is crawling on the shred of flying magic curtain said.

'You don't mind, do you?' ßenlong looks curious too.

Alfi seems to hesitate to tell them, as however, Doki-doki is an absurd power. But, seeing their faces makes him unable to refuse to tell them. Explaining what Doki-Doki is may kill time till Megumi brings them the dishes.

'All right, I'll tell you.' Alfi said.

They look serious to listen to his explanation.

'First of all, have you ever felt any irregularities happened in the real world?' Alfi asked.

'Like humans always do immoral stuff?' ßenlong asked.

'Nope. Doing immoral stuff is just a main characteristic of humans. What I mean is Waku-waku.' Alfi said.

'Oh, Waku-waku, eh? Rumor has it that they want to destroy the world, yet I didn't feel any irregularities in the real world.' ßenlong said.

"Me either. Or it's just me who don't give a shit to the "irregularities" I just said? If only Kartika were here... She might be able to explain it better than I do." Alfi said in his mind.

Alfi finds them getting confused.

'Exactly, if there's no any "irregularities" happened, it doesn't guarantee that the world is not in the threat of calamity. As long as Waku-waku exist, the world will never be "safe".' Alfi said. 'They intend to destroy the world and rebuild it into their very own Utopia.'

'Utopia?' Buriko looks confused.

'A perfect world of one's perspective. It does sound good, yet if it's made by one's perspective, it will be the Hell for the others, right?'

'I think I got the point.' Jeje said. 'Then, what is the relation with your power anyway?' He added.

Alfi draws the magic curtain and throws it to the big vase next to the kitchen door. It covers the vase and flies back to his bracelet, and the vase ends up turning into a Gargoyle. They are startled by seeing that before their very eyes.

'That's my power, Doki-doki.' Alfi said. 'The power focused on one's imagination.'

'So, it's not magic?' Jeje asked.

'Unfortunately not, this power comes from one's imagination. You saw me turning the vase into that Gargoyle, right? It's just a small part of this power.' Alfi explained.

'It means you have a power of the gods!' ßenlong exclaimed. 'Speaking of which, I think I know the origin of the power you call "Doki-doki", yet it's just a mere story.' He added.

'Just tell us. I am curious, you know?' Alfi said.

'You don't know the origin of your own power?' Jeje asked.

'I don't.' Alfi said casually.

The others seem to be curious about the story ßenlong mentioned.

"Perhaps by listening to the story, I can get any information about what kind of power Doki-doki is. I just use it without even having a curiosity to know about what it is. Can I be more apathetic than this ?" Alfi said in his mind.

'Well, if you don't mind....' ßenlong starts the storytelling.

One day, in Mayapada, a realm inhabited by gods only, there was a bored god named Varet.

'I'm bored.' He said.

He was bored by the life of the gods that looks too perfect. The life of good is a life without any advisor, where they can get anything they want before their very eyes. Such a life did bore him.

'I guess I will see how those puny humans live their lives in such a frail realm.' He said.

Something like a green circle appeared before him. It showed him the humans hunting together for food. Varet viewed that humans lived in a realm full of insufficiency, yet they kept surviving against such obstacles by living together in a civilization.

'They suck and they know it, but why don't they just end their lives knowing that they have such harsh lives in the first place?' Varet wondered. 'Guess I just have to go there to see it by myself.'

Varet found an interest to humans and he secretly descended to Madyapada without thinking twice. Landing there, he used his power to change his appearance into a mere human.

'All done. I just need to make contact with them, right?'

Suddenly a man approached him and said, 'Hey, are you done with hunting?'

Varet remained silent as he had no idea what to say.

'Ah, guess it's not your day, eh? Very well, come with me.' He took Varet's hand and took Varet to civilization.

'By the way, what's your name? I think we've never met before.' He asked in a carefree manner/

'Varet.'

'Varet, eh? I'm Slamet.' He said.

They arrived at a quiet vast field. Slamet then gave Varet a hoe.

'What is this?' Varet asked.

'Huh? Don't tell me you forgot already. It's harvest season. We ought to harvest these cassavas for dinner.' Slamet raised the hoe and plowed the field. He pulled it and cassava roots could be seen getting pulled by the blade edge.

'What are you waiting for? Go harvest it!' He said.

'Why should we work? It's a pain in the ass, you know?' Varet sighed.

'Don't say that. The others do work too, you know?' Slamet patted his shoulder and smiled at him 'Some fish, some hunt, some make fire, some tend the cattle, etc. We have our own roles to help each other. We have to do this because it's to realize our dream.' He added.

'Dream?' Varet wondered what Slamet meant by "dream".

'Well, actually I'm also lazy to do this by myself every single day.' Slamet said. 'But, everyone just does it anyway. That's because we are sure that tomorrow, next week, next month, or someday in the future, our life will be better. Sounds weird, right? But, I don't want to see my grandchildren live a life like ours. I'm sure that this dangerous world can be a beautiful place for all of us. It's our home anyway, right? If it's not us taking care of it, who else? That's my dream. I want all of us to live peacefully in this world together.' He added.

"Human is the weakest being ever who are controlled by their own desire only, but who expected that a beast like being like them has such a noble vision? And with just that vision, they obtain a power that is even able to surpass gods." Varet was amazed by what Slamet said.

'Well then, let me take care of this.' Varet walked forward and opened his right hand forwards.

The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

'Varet? What are you doing?' Slamet looks confused by the pose Varet made.

'You'll see.' Varet said.

Varet was concentrating and suddenly those cassava roots lifted to the sky and flew to the basket next to Slamet. Slamet was shocked by seeing what just happened.

'Can this power realize our dream?' Varet asked.

'Wh... What was that??' Slamet was still shocked.

'Let's call it Doki-doki. A power focused on one's imagination.' Varet replied.

'What's imagination?' Slamet looked confused.

Varet approached him and grabbed his right wrist. When Varet let it go, a dark brown leather bracelet appeared on his bracelet. The confused Slamet touched it and a king figure with serpent-like legs and whip on his right hand came out from his bracelet. It gave him a cold gaze intimidating him.

'That's Abraxas, Your Ribo who is the incarnation of your power, and the bracelet itself is your Jowa, the source of your power.' Varet said.

'Iru? Jowa? What are you talking about, anyway?!' Slamet looked terrified.

'Guess, it's too hard to understand for you, eh? Abraxas, come back.' Varet said.

Abraxas then jumped back to the bracelet.

'Well, let me teach you this power in an easy way, shall we?' Varet said.

'Power? What are you talking about?' Slamet was still unable to stay calm.

'Try to extend your arm forward and imagine something in your head.' Varet said.

'What are you talking about? I don't really get it. It doesn't make sense!' Slamet was still terrified.

'Just shut the fuck up and do it!' Varet yelled at him.

Getting intimidated by Varet, Slamet then followed his instruction. He extended his arm forward and imagined something in his head. A golden Iru came out from his hand engulfing the field and suddenly corn plants grew from underground turning that poor filed into a rich cornfield.

Slamet couldn't believe what he saw before his very eyes.

'I am dreaming, right?!' Slamet still looked shocked.

'I wonder whether it's a dream or not. Why don't you prove it by yourself by picking one of those corns?' Varet said.

Slamet then picked an ear of corn slowly. Hesitation was still haunting his mind. It was impossible to turn a poor field into a rich cornfield in a jiffy like that. What if it turned into a wheatfield instead? He would have probably turned it into a Koko Crunch.

'Have a taste.' Vare instructed him.

Slamet took a bite and chewed some kernels slowly and swallowed them.

'De... Delicious.' Slamet was impressed by how good the corn was. 'But, how is it possible?' He asked.

'It's just a minor ability of your power. Doki-doki, a power focused on one's imagination, to put it simply, you can realize anything you have in your mind.' Varet explained.

'Can I try it again?' Slamet asked.

'Go ahead.' Varet replied.

Slamet extended his right arm to the old wooden wagon, and it turned into a brand new one in a jiffy.

'No joking...' Slamet was impressed.

'I impressed you've mastered it already.' Varet complemented him.

'Why did you give this power to me?' Slamet asked.

'Didn't you say that we have to help each other? I just did what I can.' Varet said casually.

'Varet, if you don't mind... Can you give this power to everyone?' Slamet asked. 'I know that it is too much for you, but if everyone is able to use this power, I'm sure we can live in prosperity!' He exclaimed.

'Sure, Leave it to me.' Varet smiled at him.

Slamet then pulled his hand and shouted calling everyone to assemble. Varet became somehow awkward with this situation, not to mention Slamet who bragged about Doki-doki. Everyone looked doubtful at first, but when the duo showed their power by turning a cow milking automatically by just tapping its spot like a dispenser, everyone became interested in learning Doki-doki. Varet just sighed and started to teach them how to use Doki-doki.

A few days later, nothing changed at all. They just use their power to help each other, and this situation bored him even more.

"I thought by teaching them Doki-doki something interesting would happen, and this boredom what I get, huh?" Varet sighed. "What do I do to make it more interesting anyway?"

Suddenly Varet got an idea. He came with using his power to manipulate the minds of the people around him by corrupting their minds with hatred and greed. A hatred to someone and greed of power.

"Doki-doki is a power focusing on one's imagination. Turning something impossible into possible ones. This is the mightiness of Doki-doki, the power of the gods!"

The civilization then broke into some strongholds causing a civil war between those strongholds. Some of them recruited people outside their civilization and taught them Doki-doki making them spread Doki-doki around the world without even realizing it. The war clashed for decades without even single stronghold surrendered as they had corrupted by their own greed. The civil war was turning into the very first world ever. Everyone who was involved killed each other with their own imaginations as their only weapon.

Meanwhile, Varet just stayed in his hut enjoying the calamity he caused.

'Splendid! Just kill your own brothers! Die in despair!' Varet did enjoy it.

'Varet!' He heard a familiar voice.

Varet got up from his seat, turned around, and said, 'What's up... Slamet?'

'You must be behind this, right?!' Slamet enraged.

'And it took you a few decades to realize it? Speaking of a fool.' Varet said arrogantly.

'What do you want?!' Slamet exclaimed.

'Chill, Slamet. I just need a small entertainment. That's all.'

'Then why did you do this?'

'It's because I was bored. I was bored seeing humans hurt themselves to help each other. That's an eyesore! That's why I am here to make them kill each other so they won't need to do futile stuff anymore!'

'Varet... YOU BASTARD!' Slamet launched his fist to Varet, but Varet managed to dodge it easily.

'Can you really defeat your own teacher, Slamet? For your information, I am not a human in the first place, I am a god, and you are just a mere pathetic human.' Varet said.

'Varet!' Slamet manifested a hand ax from his hand and swung it to Varet.

Varet just dodged it easily. No matter how many times Slamet swung it, Varet could dodge it easily. Slamet started to be exhausted after swinging his hand ax for a while.

'Is it over already?' Varet cast a thunder from his index finger paralyzing Slamet.

'Too late 100.000 years to defeat me Slamet.' He said.

'Varet! Why?!'

'Killing me will not benefit you, will it? Will killing me end this calamity?'

'No.'

'Then, what will you do?'

'WIth this power, anything can be possible, right?'

'Then?'

'I'll destroy this world and rebuild it like it used to be!' Slamet exclaimed.

Slamet looked serious with what he just said. Hearing that, Varet casts a white Iru healing Slamet.

'Just do what you want.' Varet smiled at him. 'I was right in the first time anyway. Human is interesting after all!' He exclaimed.

Suddenly the sky became darker and thunder befell the humans perishing them. Varet knew what was happening, the gods were enraged by what he had caused.

'Slamet! I'm sorry!' Varet cast a white Iru from his hand catching Slamet's body vanishing him.

'Please save this world, my best friend!'

And no one knows what happened after that.

'That's how the story goes.' ßenlong said.

'An Ignorant god and a naive human. I didn't expect that Doki-doki was a power of the gods.' Alfi said.

'Rumor has it that Slamet was transported to a safe place and he inherited his power to his descendants only.' Jeje cuts.

'Which means, you are one of his descendants, Alfi?' Buriko asked.

'I am not really sure. My parents are normal humans, and I got this power from Kartika.' Alfi answered.

'This Kartika... Is she the messenger of the ancestors to find the Alfa?' ßenlong asked.

'You can say that.' Alfi said.

'Who knows that the story isn't a mere myth.' ßenlong said. 'Alfi, you...'

Suddenly the kitchen door opens wide and Megumi comes out with a line of cooks bringing delicious dishes to their table. They are served with high-class dishes that if I describe it one by one, it will take like thousand words as the names are a pain in the ass to write. A unique and relaxing smell from the dishes arises their appetite. Megumi then takes a seat next to Alfi who looks unable to wait to savor them.

'Dig in while it's warm!' Megumi said warmly.

They savor their dishes.

'Alfi, about that.' ßenlong said. 'You must realize what's waiting for you, right?' ßenlong asked.

'Of course, I do know how dangerous what I will face soon. I just need to face it, right?' Alfi looks calm.

'Stop lying to yourself already, Alfi!' ßenlong exclaimed.

They become silent out of the blue.

'I, no, we know that you are afraid of it, yet you refuse to show it to us, right?! Then what will you do? Put your life on the line for us and die in vain before our presence? Don't you realize that your death will not guarantee us not getting killed by them?!' ßenlong exclaimed.

'Then what do I do? I know. it must be troubling you to be around me, right?' Alfi said.

'WE NEVER MIND BECOMING YOUR FRIENDS! JUST STOP SACRIFICING YOURSELF FOR US ALREADY!' ßenlong shouted. 'Alfi, we don't want you to die for us, we'd rather die with you. Please stop thinking to die as you will get nothing but regret from death itself!'

'He got a point, Alfi. I died by getting hit by a truck at the day before AFA ID and I regret it as I couldn't go there with my friends.' Jeje added.

'I also regret as I have no chance to make up with my family. I became a slut as my family kicked me out as I loved a bad guy. They were right, he was the one who made me like this, a lowly slut even when she has become a ghost.' Aoi added.

'I died when I had waxing with my wife and I forgot the safe word. My wife is in an asylum right after she saw me died burnt before her very eyes. I want to see her one more time to tell her how I much love her.' Cocong added.

'I died because of urid acid. Well, It's because I love having emping (an Indonesia chip/bite-size snack made of Melinjo. This snack contains a great sum of purine that will worsen the patient who has urid acid) every day. But, I did work out though, while having them as snacks.' Buriko said.

'You hear them? Death may sound like an instant solution for any matter, but sooner or later, the solution will just give you a dreadful regret.' ßenlong said.

'Then, what do I do? If you ask me, I am not sure I can face them alone. Slamet, it's possible that Waku-waku inherits the power he got from Varet. Can I really match them?' Alfi looks doubtful.

'You are never alone, aren't you? Who do you think we are anyway?' ßenlong cut.

'It could endanger you guys.' Alfi said.

'It could endanger you too.' Jeje said. 'I look up to you, Alfi. You always prioritize us before yourself, and that's what makes me think that you are a true protector, but you have to believe us who will fight and die with you.' He added.

'We fight with you because we want to.' Buriko added.

'Friends are meant to help each other, right?' Cocong added.

'We may be weak, but together we are strong, right?' Aoi added.

'Fear and hesitation may befall anyone without any exception. Don't ever think that you fight alone, you have a bunch of friends who are ready to die with you.' ßenlong added.

'I told you, right? You are never alone.' Megumi rounds her arms to his chest. 'And you will never be, honey.'

Alfi smiles and says, 'Too bad I couldn't see you guys while you were alive.'

'At least we are here, right?' Jeje said.

Alfi smiles and his suicidal tendency rate is getting lower significantly as he has goods friends, regardless they are not humans, at least they are better than them. Funny eh? Ghosts are nicer than humans.
