'Herman! Varz! You don't have to!' Alfi tries to persuade them to not fight Rian. 'Katon is dead and I don't want to lose any of you anymore!' He exclaimed wishing both of them would listen to him.

'Oh, sure we won't fight him anyway.' Herman said.

'Yet, can you get your ass off there and fight him like you used to do?' Varz added.

Alfi remains silent. It's true that he is still hesitating to fight Rian. Hesitation just keeps haunting him. Fighting against Rian does make him tremble, now with knowing Rian has such an incredible power, Alfi becomes agitated even more as Varz and Herman could end up like Katon. Alfi actually just wants to retreat as he doesn't want to lose anyone anymore, yet ironically, Alfi is unable to fight to protect his friends like he used to do nor even ask his friends to retreat. Kartika who sees Alfi in such condition has no idea what to do. On one side she wants to join the fray, yet on the other side she wants to keep Alfi company to soothe him, yet in the end, she just remains silent there wondering what to do. She is too afraid to fight Rian and she feels awkward to get closer to him at the moment.

'I'm sorry Alfi, but we'll fight him. We'll retreat once you are ready to replace us.' Varz said summoning his wind sword.

Varz dashes to Rian. Rian suddenly appears behind Varz ready to launch a surprise attack, but suddenly fire nails are flying to Rian's direction. Rian then teleports to Herman's. Varz takes the chance to extend his wind sword to devour all of those fire nails turning it into a flame sword. Varz then swings it to slice Rian into 2. But Rian manages to split himself into 2 by turning himself into thunder. The top flies to Herman and the bottom flies to Varz at high speed.

Herman grows the blackened nails to his palm yet Varz is ready to thrust that bottom which keeps showing off the bulge of its "sword".

'Sword vs sword? Interesting.' Varz thrust his sword to that bulge.

The electric current from that bottom (can I just say "butt" instead?) channels to the blade, yet the sword absorbs the electric current.

'Napalm!' Herman punches the top triggering a great explosion.

Rian then appears in front of them.

'Well, not bad. Who knows that you use your brain better than that Katon.' He said in an arrogant manner.

Varz and Herman become vigilant.

'But, what makes me wonder is why you put your lives at stake just for a moron like him?' Rian asked. 'You both have quite fearsome powers, but why are you with such a weakling like him? Is it possible such a twerp can protect the world? An apathetic and stupid weak world protector? Impossible if you ask me.'He added.

Alfi goes gloom. He realizes that Rian is right and he can't deny it that it's not true. He is just a pathetic guy who accepted Kartika offering to protect this world without second thought. All this time, he just uses his power to kill anyone with no mercy without any intention to protect this world. in fact, he never cares about this world. Then what does he do all those things for? What is it does he seek? He does all those things just for seeking a reason to live. If by killing can make him meet the ones who accept his existence, then he will willingly be a cold-blooded- killer as long as he won't be alone anymore, as loneliness is the real death in real life.

'You got a point there. I can't deny that he is a mere apathetic and weak moron.' Varz said.

'But...' Herman added.

'This moron is the one who made me overcome the fear of my past. This moron is the one who turned my obscene will to fight into a will to keep living a better life!' Varz exclaimed.

"No need to tell me. Let's just finish it once and for all!" Varz dashes to Rian's direction with both of his sword ready to slash the skinny body of Rian.

Rian parries Varz's swords by swinging his arm which has been being channeled by electric current. Varz then spits a wind sword from his mouth, but Rian dodges it and directly strangles Varz tightly and channels electric current to Varz's body.

Fortunately, with Doraduo in his body, he can absorb any electric shock so that any force related to electric won't affect him.

'Oh, my bad. You've got Doraduo in your body, right?' Rian directly jabs Varz's abdomen.

Varz swiftly turns himself into the wind and appears behind Rian. Rian is aware of Varz appearing behind him, so he swiftly grabs Varz's shoulder and slams him to the ground.

'Varz!' Herman keeps shooting his nails to Rian.

Those nails are detonating in a row in front of Rian causing a thick smoke screen. Herman then takes the chance to enter it in order to save Varz. When Herman finally finds Varz lying there, Herman then carries him and rush to get away.

'Just give up already. There's no way you can defeat me.' Rian said.

Varz and Herman keep struggling to move their body. They don't care about Rian's chattering. They will just keep trying to move their body regardless it's impossible.

Rian then raises his leg and stomps Varz really hard that the ground is shattered.

The nail hits the wall and the wall shoots a lot of fire nails to Rian's direction. Rian is going to teleport, but Varz manages to stop him by swiftly slashes his body. When the fire nails are coming, Varz swiftly teleports to Herman by thunder force that obviously struck Rian too. Those fire nails are coming to Rian that they pierce his body that Rian falls down.

Varz and Herman are standing in front of the smoky body of Rians. They are panting heavily as they have used up a lot of Iru.

'It's over.' Varz said.

Suddenly they hear Rian says, 'I don't think so.'

Both of them keep up the pace yet Rian just looks calm as he easily parries and dodge their barrages. Rian then grabs Herman's palm and Varz's sword and send them flying. An electric spark can be seen on both of his hands. Rian rises both of his arms waiting for Varz and Herman falls to get strucked by those sparks. But, suddenly a blue beam flying through Rian hitting his body that he is shoved down. It's Kartika. She's standing there with Cakra aiming his gun.

'Kartika?!' Alfi, Varz, and Herman exclaimed.

'Stop it... Please stop all of this!' Kartika exclaimed.

Tears are rolling on her cheek. She was afraid in the first place, but after knowing Varz's and Herman's feeling towards Alfi, Kartika got encouraged to join the fray.

'Kartika... Please, not you too...' Alfi asked.

Alfi is stunned by hearing that. He didn't realize that he has wonderful friends around him. Why do they willingly put their lives at stake for Alfi? It's because they treat Alfi as their precious friend, not his fate as an Alfa. All this time Alfi put his life at stake because he doesn't want to trouble his friend as he was sure that one day they will leave him, but he was wrong, Alfi has finally found the ones who can be considered as his best friends. Alfi always appreciates his friends even though they don't give a fuck about him, but this is the first time there are some people who appreciate him as their friends.

Alfi grabs Koji's hand and makes eye contact. Koji who sees it nods slowly.

'Shut the fuck up!' Rian exclaimed shooting a thunderous laser to the trio.

It's really fast that it's impossible for them to dodge. But, suddenly Alfi appears swinging Tipit vanishing that laser and fireballs flying through to Rian. Rian manages to dodge them and he puts a grin to his face.

'So, the main course is coming.' Rian said.

'You or anyone may insult me as you want, but don't ever try to hurt my friends!' Alfi exclaimed.

'Alfi!' Kartika, Herman, and Varz exclaimed.

'Guys, thank you. I am not hesitating anymore.' Alfi said.

'Alfi!' Kartika exclaimed.

'Yes?' Alfi replied.

'Be careful.' Kartika smiles at him.

'Sure!' Alfi smiles at her.

'So, you are ready to kill your own best friend?' Rian asked.

'They are my best friends, so you are. But, if I have to choose, I would rather kill you as you dare to hurt my best friends!' Alfi exclaims.
