Back at the house, Jenny is on the couch with Kamen, watching a movie on TV.
"This is a really good movie, don't you think, Kamen?" Jenny says this as she puts a handful of popcorn in her mouth.
Looking over at Kamen, she notices that he is falling asleep on the couch. "How about I help you to bed, Kamen? It's getting late, and I promised your parents I would help you out tonight." She said this as she picked him up in his arms.
Walking up the stairs, Jenny looks at the various family pictures they have on the wall. She sighs. "I wish I could be in these photos with him someday." Arriving at Kamen's room, she pushes the door open and lays him on his bed.
"I'll be down stairs, Kamen; don't worry." Jenny says as she kisses Kamen on the head and leaves the room, closing the door.
"Now that's taken care of, I really want to know what they're doing in Evengail. I know they're going on a mission." Jenny thinks to herself as she exits and runs to her house.

Back at the headquarters.
Richard is talking to his superior about the job.
"Are you sure that it's just a few vampires?"
His superior nods his head. "For the hundredth time, Richard, yes, you don't have anything to worry about. A few vampires are apparently running amuck talking about this ancient vampire god. This claim is implausible, given that Vlad the Impaler was considered the 'First Vampire'. The man says it with air quotes.
"I just want to be sure; I don't want anything to happen while we're out there. We have our son to think about." Marie says this with concern written all over her face.
Their superior laughs. "I promise you, I wouldn't send my best friends into something they couldn't handle."
Richard sighs and nods his head, walks out of the room, and heads into the locker room to gear up to leave.
"Honey, you know you don't need any of that. We're hybrids, remember?" Marie asks Richard as he puts on combat gear, places a pistol in his holster, and rests a sword on his back.
"I know, Marie; I'm just being extra cautious in case anything happens while we're there." Richard explains, looking into his wife's beautiful eyes.
Putting his hand on her face, he smiles. "You are still the most beautiful woman I've ever met."
"Stahp," Marie says, playfully slapping his shoulder. The room echoes with the sound of a siren.
"It looks like it's time for us to go." Richard says this to Marie as they exit the locker room and head to the main teleport room.
"Are you guys ready to go to Evengail?" While typing on a computer and creating a portal in the middle of the room, a woman asks them.
Richard and Marie nod their heads before walking into the portal.

Outside of her house, Jenny runs down to her basement, which has a teleporter to her home world. She stops right in front of it and sighs. "I hope nothing goes wrong." She thinks before walking through the portal.
As she walks out of the portal, she can see Richard and Marie in the distance. Hastily running near them, Jenny hides in the shadows, hoping not to be seen.
The couple walks down a path that leads to a dark cave. "It's always a damn cave," Richard says, annoyed.
"It'll be okay, baby; let's go. Just keep thinking about Kamen." Marie says this to Richard as they both walk into the cave.
Jenny follows them in clinging to the wall; thankfully, hybrids aren't as tuned to their abilities as pure bloods are. They stop when they hear voices.
"I hear at least 20 voices in there. Let's be quick about this."
Richard says as he slowly crouches into the room, followed by Marie.
As they press forward, Richard sees the first vampire, swipes out with his claws that are now emerging from his hands, and slices the vampire's vocal cords.
The vampire, in shock, tries to call out for help but can't, and soon his head comes off Richard's sword.
"I told you I would need it." Richard says mockingly towards Marie.
Marie shakes her head back and forth, making fun of Richard.
Jenny watches as Richard and Marie kill the remaining vampires in the cave. "But why are they killing them? Aren't they just like them? Wait, they're hybrids. They don't care." Jenny thinks to herself, and Richard and Marie kill the last vampire and head back out of the cave.
Seeing this, Jenny runs out of the cave and hides in a nearby bush. Suddenly, the ground starts to shake, and a figure can be seen coming out of the dirt.
Richard and Marie are caught off guard as they turn around, shocked. The figure stands 6 1/2 feet tall with pale white skin and red eyes. It has long, luscious blonde hair.
"So you are the ones that disturbed my slumber and killed Kin. Why have you done this?" The figure speaks in a deep, grave voice.
Richard swallows before answering. "We were sent here on a mission to clean out some vampires talking about some vampire god."
The figure laughs. "It's always funny when they call me a vampire god. I am simply the son of an important but arrogant and manipulative man."
"Who is that?" While holding his sword in his hand, Richard asks. The figure looks at him with disdain.
"I hate speaking his name, but his name is Vlad the Impaler. I am his son, Alucard."
Richard and Marie are shocked beyond belief. They believed Vlad's son was dead.
"I know that you are wondering how I am alive; unfortunately, I am unable to tell you. I've never really trusted hybrids. You've shown yourselves to be untrustworthy time and time again." Alucard utters these words before extending his hand towards them. A darkness slowly creeps out of his palm and gravitates in Richard's and Marie's directions.
Seeing this, Jenny leaps out of the bush. "Please, don't hurt them! I beg of you!"
"Jennifer?! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be with Kamen!" Richard yells out, concerned for her.
"I wanted to see what you guys were doing here; I'm sorry." Jenny says she is pouting.
"While this is touching, I am not planning on killing them; I will be taking them as prisoners." I've always wanted to experiment on a hybrid." Alucard says this as the darkness slowly envelopes Richard and Marie.
Alucard looks over at Jenny and smiles. "You are of pure blood; I will spare you. But I will not allow any mention of what has happened here." He says this as he swipes his hand, and a symbol appears on Jenny's lower leg.
"With this, you will not be able to talk about this night." If you do, you and everyone you love will die in my hands." He says this before disappearing into the darkness.
Jenny falls to her knees and holds her head in her hands.
"What am I going to do!? What will I tell Kamen? I couldn't protect them; he's going to hate me?!" She said it out loud.
Then an idea came to her mind. "What if I change his memory? But if he ever found out, I know he would hate me forever." She pondered what to do before making a decision.

Back at the house, Jenny can be seen standing over Kamen's bed. "I'm sorry, Kamen; I know you'll hate me for this. But hopefully, when you find out, you will understand that I had to do this." She thinks to herself as she rustles Kamen awake.
"Look into my eyes, Kamen, please." Jenny says as she looks deep into his eyes and charms him. "The police will come and knock on your door and tell you that your parents were in an accident and are unfortunately dead."
Suddenly, Kamen hears the doorbell and walks down the stairs to answer the door.
