I look around and see Lumen talking to everyone. I get up and stare at them. "How long have I been out?" I ask, rubbing my head. Lumen stares back and smiles. "You've been out for a little while. What did you learn about the crystal?" He asked.

Scratching my head, I reply. "Well, that was a memory crystal. It's from one of the men that came with four others. I found one of the men in a room." I look around and see Jenny. I walk up to her and give her a bear hug. Elizabeth clears her throat. "Anyways, who was the man that sent them out here, and what did they want?" She asks. I tell her everything the man said to me, except what happened to him.

"So Dracula knows you're here. Damn it. I thought we'd have more time than this." Elizabeth says hitting the wall and cracking it Seeing this, I shook my head. "It's too late to worry about that; we need to get out of here." I say as I send the darkness out to the crystals and swallow them whole.

Everyone is shocked at what I just did. Alistair walks up and asks me "What was that just now?" I chuckle. That was Vestis's ability; he can hold onto things for me in the darkness. " He looks at me weirdly. "You named it?" He asks with a strange look. I shake my head. "Lumen told me his name. Vestis has helped me so far, so I trust him. Maybe not fully. But that might change in the future." I say, walking back out into the corridor. As we try to find the exit, I tell everyone what's happened to me so far here.

2 hours later

We finally find the exit. "It took far too long to get out of this damned death trap." I think to myself as I turn around and send out the darkness to block the entrance to stop anyone else from entering there. We decide to walk back to the house, but on our journey, we encounter more of the beasts I fought before. I step up and tell everyone. "Hold on, I got this. I know how to deal with them." I charge Lumen and Vestis into my sword and charge it with fire and slash towards the beasts.

The slash hits the beasts and cleaves them in two. The beasts roar in pain as their bodies fall to the ground. Everyone seems stunned. Elizabeth walks up to me and smacks my head.

"Ow!" I said, rubbing my head. "What was that for?" I ask.

She looks at me, upset. "That's the reason he knows you're here; you're out flaunting your power around. You need to use what I trained you to do. Don't be so reckless!" She yells at me.

I nod, understanding what she means. I think to myself. "Maybe I should've thought of it a different way. I never thought of using my blood to fight." I rub my chin and look at her.

I motion for them to continue on. We continue on. Jenny looks at Elizabeth and starts talking to her as we walk. "Why do you care about Kamen so much?" Elizabeth stiffens a little upon hearing this. She coughs and replies. "Well, he's my student. Why wouldn't I be worried for him?" She says, looking away, blushing. Jenny knew that looked all too good. She knew that Elizabeth was full of shit. She doesn't like the idea of someone else sharing her man. Then she thinks to herself. "My man? Do I consider Kamen my man?" She looks forward at me; she stares at my back for a few seconds; her body squirms. She feels her chest getting hot. She realizes that he is her man and always will be.

She snaps out of it when she realizes we all stopped.

In front of us was a pack of beasts. "Shit. Morguls." Elizabeth says it out loud. I look at her and ask. "What's a Morgul?" She sighs. "Morguls are the vampire version of a wolf, slightly different than a werewolf. They're genetically engineered killing machines. If possible, we need to avoid them." She says she was trying to walk around them and stepped on a branch. I look at her and sigh. "Damn it. Not again." As soon as I say that, the Morguls stare at us and howl. It's loud and deep.

I look at everyone and say, "You guys need to run. I'll deal with it." I couldn't get it out as I saw Jenny run in front of me to shield me from one of the attacks. I turn around and see the Morgul's claws dig into Jenny's side and pick her up to its mouth, opening it up. Seeing this. Something snaps into me. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" I roar out, my voice sounding deep and demonic. The energy inside me explodes out. Everyone looks at me in horror. My skin slowly chips away, revealing a black energy around my body. I point towards the morgul that's holding Jenny up and slash my hand outward. The beast's claw falls down, and Jenny is next to it.

I flash instantly to her side and pick her up and bring her back to the others. Elizabeth looks at me and says, "Kamen, you need to calm down, you mi-." I stare at everyone, letting them see the darkness and rage in my eyes. I let out a growl. "If you do not protect her, I will break every single bone in your bodies and drink your blood from your broken bodies." As I said, everyone stiffened up, not replying to me. I turn around and flash to the Morgul that was holding Jenny, and I grab its arms and rip them off. The morgul shrieks out in pain as it fails to center itself and falls to the ground. I put my foot on top of it and pushed down with all of my might, crushing it like a wasp. The ground underneath cracks and gives away as a crater forms.

The darkness reaches out and eats the Morgul. I stared at the other Morgul and let out a primal yet demonic roar. They cower and try to run away. "You won't get away from me." I throw out my hand, and the darkness grabs ahold of them, picks them up, and slams them on the ground. Bones can be heard breaking, and the beast shrieks. I keep slamming them into the ground, then throw them in the air, throw a slash of dark energy towards them, and watch them get cleaved in half.

Seeing the bodies fall, I open my mouth wide and swallow them whole. Everyone can hear their bones crunch as I chew the morguls up. They stand there in shock, not knowing what to do. I look around and can't find any more of the beasts.

I calm down and can be seen slowly turning back into my old self. Turning around, I see Jenny lying on the ground, unconscious. I run up to her and lean down on her. I feel her pulse. "Good, she's still alive." I think to myself. I turn down and see that her side isn't healing. "Damn it." I say it out loud as I bite my wrist and hold it over her mouth, letting the blood drip into her mouth.

Sensing the blood, Jenny latches onto my arm and begins sucking my blood. I see her wounds are slowly healing but it isn't enough. There's a strange purple liquid leaking out of her wounds. I ask Lumen what it is. "It seems to be poison that was developed to fight against vampires. If you give her enough blood now, she might be fine." Lumen says.

Vestis starts to talk. "Let the darkness go to the wound." I stop and say back. "Why would I do that? You'd try to eat her." He chuckles. "Trust me for once, Kamen." Feeling unsure, I let the darkness go over her wound, and once it dissapears, I notice the purple liquid is gone. "How did you do this?" I ask Vestis, confused. "I'm the darkness; I feed off of negative things. Poison is one of the things I can eat and get rid of. She should be fine in a few minutes. Let her keep drinking your blood." He says he is disappearing back into my mind.

Rose speaks up, keeping quiet this whole time. "What exactly was that? That was different than the time you trained with me." I look at her. "I'm not sure exactly. I think the darkness transformed me into something different." I reply, worried about myself. I feel Jenny let go of my hand. I look down, worried, and see her open her eyes. Seeing everyone look at her, she asks. "What happened? The last thing I remember was getting in front of Kamen, and then it was just black."

Everyone sighs with relief. I look at her and tell her what happened without letting her know I transformed and made it seem like everyone helped. She looks at everyone for confirmation. They look at me and then look back at her and shake their heads. Ignoring the strange look from everyone just now, she shrugs it off and gets up.

She stretches her body and exclaims. "I feel amazing!" She looks at me and asks. "Just what exactly is in that blood of yours?" I shrug. I lie "I'm not really sure, Jenny. Let's just get out of here." She plants a kiss on my lips and thanks me.

We decide to move on to see what else is out there. I'm not sure what other monsters are out there; I have to stay on my toes. I look down and realize one of my shoes is missing. "Damn it." I say under my breath as I look forward, and I just say screw it and keep walking.
