Alexander ran towards the garden behind the palace
But his small body and weak legs did not help him, and not much time passed until his feet began to hurt.
Damn it, wasn't this idiot supposed to be training since he was young?... Alexander couldn't help but curse his previous self for being so lazy.
When he left the palace, he saw a horrific sight
There have been giant vultures attacking the palace while the palace guards are trying to stop these monsters
It was clear that the matter was under control and there were no serious casualties because the palace was full of experts
So there was not much panic among those present
But only Alexander knew that this was just the beginning
Sooner or later this place will be overrun by a tide of monsters that will destroy this city to the ground.
That's why he must escape from here before things get worse
After catching his breath for a moment, he continued running towards his goal
He was able to enter through the garden without any problems
The spiritual maze that existed in the real world did not hinder him
This motivated him to go further, convinced that the object in the garden center would solve many of the mysteries
After minutes of running through trees and numerous branches that tore his clothes and cut his skin, he finally managed to reach the wooden hut located in the center of the garden.
“Finally...” A crazy smile appeared on Alexander’s face as he moved his hand to grab the door handle
He tried to move the door handle, but it wouldn't budge
" What?." Alexander became confused and tried to remove his hand from the door handle, but it was stuck to the handle
“Cog...” Alexander exerted greater force to free himself from this thing that was restricting his hand to the doorknob, but to no avail.
Suddenly Alexander felt pain in his head
This pain gradually began to spread to his body until his entire body became paralyzed with him experiencing hellish pain
The surroundings around him began to distort until the world lost its features and turned into darkness
Alexander's eyelids clenched together as he tried to fight the pain

After several seconds, the pain eased until it disappeared completely
After the pain disappeared, Alexander opened his eyes and looked around cautiously
He was located in a place that looked like a stone castle from ancient times
The place was uncomfortably dark and humid, and the only light in the place came from windows high up
Even these windows could not provide enough light to make everything clear due to the clouds and thunderstorm that blocked out most of the sunlight, leaving just a few strands of light filtering through the windows to illuminate some corners of the place.
It was a huge hall with a majestic atmosphere, but it was devoid of any furniture and there was only a small wooden door located on the other side of the hall.
Alexander moved very slowly as he looked around for any source of danger, expecting to be attacked at any moment
But he succeeded in reaching the door safely
He opened the door to reveal a dark corridor with a group of cells on either side of it. All that illuminated the corridor were a group of small torches that barely made walking down the corridor possible.
Alexander frowned, thinking whether he should go any further
He turned to the empty stone hall. Logic was telling him that he should go deeper into the corridor because staying in that hall would be of no use.
After taking a deep breath, he decided to enter the corridor
He started exploring the cells one by one, searching for anything important
But the cells contained nothing but rusty iron chains
crying! crying!
Alexander heard what sounded like a child crying coming from the front
He rushed towards the source of the sound without hesitation
He started moving through the branching corridors that looked like a maze, searching for the owner of the voice, because the illusion had robbed him of the hunter’s senses, so he could only use his ears, but he could not find the source of the sound because it was coming from different places every time.
But he reached a point where he stood in his place and looked around in horror because the source of the crying began to come from all directions and not from one direction.
“Mama, where are you...”
The little girl's crying became clearer as she called for her mother
“Please, let her go…” The voice of a woman crying bitterly came from one of the cells to his right
Alexander quickly jumped into the cell, but found nothing but iron chains covered in dried blood
"I swear I will never do this again..." A man's voice came from another cell
"I didn't do anything wrong..."
“This hurts, stop doing this...”
“I am innocent, I swear I am innocent...”
"I just want another chance..."
Overlapping voices of different people came from all the cells, all carrying pain and misery.
Alexander grabbed his head and fell to his knees. "Stop that..."
The sounds did not disappear, but rather became louder and more brutal
"Stop..." Alexander shouted, trying to cover his ears
But the voices began to come from inside Alexander's head himself
"Nooooo..." Alexander started running because he knew that these tormenting sounds were starting to affect him and that they would drive him crazy if he continued to be here.
He quickly entered through a wooden door that was located in one of the side corridors
There was a simple sign on the door
Storage of the wine
But Alexander did not care much about what this place was because all he wanted was to escape from the cells from which those terrifying sounds were coming.
He looked at the door with a distorted smile when those tormenting sounds disappeared
He will stay here for a while until he can regain his composure
He took one step back
crack!
But he felt that he had stepped on something fragile, making a breaking sound
Alexander lowered his head slowly like a rusty mechanical machine
Then his eyes fell on a charred corpse that was lying on the ground, realizing that he had stepped on the arm of that charred corpse, which led to that arm being shattered and disintegrated into small parts
Alexander looked around to realize that there were two more bodies, and these bodies were as damaged and burned as the body he had stepped on.
The place was a complete mess with burning wooden boxes everywhere and it was clear that a huge fire had occurred here
Bam! Bam!
Alexander heard a strong knock on the door
He turned his head toward the door automatically, but found nothing there
Bam!
The sound of knocking on the door became louder
“Open the door, there is a fire here...” A man's voice came from beside Alexander
Alexander took a few steps back, looking at the corpse from which the sound came
“We will die, the place is burning to the ground...” another voice came from the second corpse
"I don't want to die. Please. We have been serving you for years. Don't do this to us, Baron. I am begging you." A young man's voice came from the third corpse
The three voices started screaming at the same time, mixed with the sound of the flames that were burning their skin, creating a chilling sound.
Alexander was trying to step back, but he tripped over a bottle of wine, falling on his buttocks
He curled up in a corner of the room and closed his eyes in a desperate attempt to resist these mutterings that were affecting his mind.
Suddenly all the sounds disappeared and the place became silent
But Alexander did not open his eyes and remained in this state for an unknown time
After staying still for a while, Alexander opened his eyes to find himself lying on his bed
He didn't get up right away and instead continued to stare at the ceiling with tired eyes
He felt wet on his bed
His body continued to sweat for so long that his bed became completely wet
He mustered enough strength and will to look at the walls of the room
All the seals he had placed had been erased while the vessels had been broken, causing blood to spill onto the floor
“I'm back...” Alexander said with an emotionless face, closing his eyes as he tried to get some rest and not think about anything.
