Ryan was now in a castle; the castle itself was in ruins. Half the buildings had been brought down over time. The throne had a skeleton of the former ruler. Still dressed in his royal clothes. The throne was green with age. The red velvet was covered with moss. The skeleton's head was falling down to its lap when it snapped off and hit the floor. The breeze was strong enough to blow the head to Ryan’s feet. He had felt the place shake, and then the ground or book itself felt like it shook violently, then stopped. He didn’t feel the ground shake; it felt like it was at its stillest. He had found that the circle had led him to a desert. He was glad that Moses had given him the idea to get water. The small dune that had kept Ryan safe was under ten feet of water. The spell had kept going even when he knew it should have stopped. He thought maybe his will had increased significantly. By then, the place was under water.
Ryan was walking up to the throne. He had a long black and white beard. His hair was now long on his shoulders. His salt-and-pepper hair was tied in a ponytail. He had his staff, which was flourishing with flowers and vines and was written in old Norse runes. The blue inscription was glowing, allowing the leaves to soak up his stored magic in the staff. He had been trapped in the book for eighty years. Well, relative to him, it had been eighty years. He didn't know exactly how long it had been. He had gone all through the book pages and found that Rachel had been safe. She was with Orisorin, the writer of this book. He was among the first people to live on earth and was the first to use magic. Back then, he said that the first grimoire was written on bear skin. The pages had originally been scrolls, then morphed and took on life. The book itself will take on a new form when current technology advances. Fortunately for the book, that meant that it never had to change its shape for a very long time. So the mana stored in the book could also be used by the welder of this book.
His brother, Caqihr, wanted the book's spells to open the gates of hell. Orisorin had gathered spells from different spell casters; he found one who could use over one million lives to open one lock to hell's gates. So far, five of the seven locks have been broken. Caqihr had killed Orisorin and taken his book. The book was then spellbound by Caqihr’s blood magic. He cursed it to only obey his commands. The curse that he cast was only half effective. It bound the book to anyone who drew blood into it, but once they died, it was unbound and then looked for its next owner.
“Ryan, I’m about to teleport you to us.” Orisorin said through Ryan's mind, “There has been a development.”
"Ok, I was…” Ryan said this when he teleported to the castle.
He was in a very comfortable-looking room. He sat on the magical screen that showed two werecats, one female and one male. The female was escaping the enclosure in John’s room. Then another image saw a male run through the house, finding Faith. She was killed instantly; he had caught her unaware. He’s claws sliced into her demon body like butter. Her body parts flew in every direction. The cat ran up the stairs and to the fifth floor. He saw John lunging at him. He smiled and ran to one side. John cast a fireball, and the flaming ball flew at the cat. He dove into the attack, and John lifted his can, and the floor beneath him began to tremble. The solid surface was instantly turned into liquid. He was cemented, trapping him on the wood floors. With the cat's strength, he flexed his muscles, and cracks began to explode on the floor. In two minutes, the cat beast had broken free. John saw this and summoned another fireball. This time, the cat was hit by the attack. His fur was left unfazed; he had been wearing a ring that allowed it to absorb the attack. When it did, the floor exploded, and splinters and wood scattered all over the room.
“Nice trick, wizard, but today isn’t your lucky day.” The cat ran towards John and asked, “Now where is my dear little sister?”
“Like I’d ever tell you.” John spat out.
John felt sharp pain in his mind, and from the corner of his eye, he saw the cat come at him. Claws met flesh, and John’s body was in pieces. The image then cuts to the female cat that was in her cage. She changed into a cat panther, and then the symbols faded. The cat transformed again and escaped. The image flashed back, and John was on the floor, blood pooling everywhere.
“Noooo!” Ryan screamed, “John!!!!l”
“So that’s why this place was shaking so violently.” Orisorin said, “If they have the book, it’s going to be dangerous for you two to get out.”
“Yes, I was thinking the same thing.” Ryan collected himself: “And if John is dead, then I have to be the one who stops them.”
“And they’ll die for what they did to Faith; I swear that there are screams we’ll forever hear in hell.” Rachel said as half her body began to erupt in a demonic form.
"Easy, honey; they’ll get what’s coming to them.” Ryan said, “But first, Orisorin, I assume that you will take care of Dagron.”
“Yes, I will, but first.” He went to his closet and handed Ryan a purple crystal. “This crystal is from the god's plain of existence. It’s said to be very powerful in amplifying your magical spell.”

Ryan took the crystal; it felt cold and hot at the same time. He took the old crystal that had been with him from the beginning of his journey. It had cracked and almost broke when he had gone up against the multiple horrors he had faced. The vines and flowers around the crystal began to twitch, and a surge of mana was flooding the staff. It was so much for the flowers that they began to welt. The vines started to warp and wrap around the staff. They hardened and flowed with what almost looked like vain’s. Mana was pumping through the staff like blood circling the body. At the heart of the whole system was the crystal. Purple and blue light began emitting from the crystal, and the roots secured it in place. Ryan held the staff in his right hand, and his irises began to glow with a purple hue.
"Well, and here I thought your brown eyes were sexy.” Rachel began to say, “Purple is definitely turning me on.”
“Yes.” Orisorin said with a low tone, “But remember that I’m here.”
"Oh, sorry, I almost forgot.” Rachel said, embracing.
“Well, you didn’t explode, so that’s good.” Orisorin said, “The training you did definitely helped you strengthen your body.”
“Yeah, I’ll admit that my body felt a little explosive.” Ryan said, “The sudden surge was almost too much.”
"So, what’s next?” Ryan said.
“The next thing is to send you and Rachel back to earth.” Orisorin said, “Let’s see, Filn gsrh ivzon gl gsv mvcg, hvmw gsvhv gdl gizevovih gl yzxp uiln lmxv gsvb xznv.”
The two gizevovih began to warp, and they disappeared. This was seen from Orisorin. He walked over to the desk and sat in the chair. The dragon had gotten as big as a bear. His body was covered in armor scales. His colors had changed, and now he looked to have a blue-purple hue. His claws had grown, and his tail was growing twice as fast as his body.
“Well, I guess it’s just you and me for the time being.” He said to the dragon, “Now let’s see, what do you say if we go hunting?”
The dragon jumped up and down, and Orisorin summoned his staff. He stood up, walked to the dragon, and summoned a circle. He concentrated on a page in his mind, and they vanished. The room was now empty, and for a moment, the room shook, knocking all the books off the shelves.
The night sky was dominated by the city’s buildings. They overtook the scenery; two humans, one male and one female, had been walking the streets. The female had a book in her armpit, and her other hand was around her male companion. The female’s book began to shake, and she grabbed the book and threw it in the street. The book opened, and two more people joined the street. One male holding a purple glowing staff, and a female demon. The book closed and flew into the hands of the male holding the staff.
“So you must be the person Orisorin chose.” She said with acid in her mouth, “Just a worthless nobody.”
"Like, I haven’t heard that before.” Ryan said as he cast a heavy fog, “Now let’s see how good your eyes are when you can’t see us.”
A huge plume of fog began to pour from the crystal. It was flowing out like water from a fresh spring. The smoke fell to the ground and almost instantly covered the immediate area in fog. The two couples separated, and two of them tore through their clothes and transformed into cats. They launched at where the wizard and demon once were, but all they found was smoke and nothing. The area had been completely covered in fog, and for the next five miles, the area would soon become completely enshrouded in the water vapors.
Rachel used her eyes and saw through the thick fog. Her eyes could see the outlines of the two cats who had transformed into their cat forms. They spit up, and the female had chosen to stay while the male went for Ryan. They both used their noses to try to sniff out their prey. Rachel flung her body and used her demon legs to propel her to the female cat. She used her claws to slash at her belly. She managed to slice a centimeter deep and three inches long before Alya moved and used her claws to cut the back of her neck.
“So the kitten can dodge my attack.” Rachel said.
“Who are you calling Kitty?" Alya shouted at her, using her right hand to slash at her face, “Now I’m going to make you die slowly.”
“Really, you call that a slash.” Rachel blocked her blow, then used the same technique: “Let me show you how it’s done.”
Rachel landed two deep cuts above her chest, and Ayla jumped back. She hissed, and she used the dog to her advantage. Rachel used her eyes, and she couldn’t find her opponent.
“Your kind murdered my sister. You’re going to answer for her death!” Rachel shouted into the empty air.
“I’m right here.” Ayla bit down on her opponent’s shoulder; blood was spraying on her and the ground.
“You bitch, you’re going to pay for that.” Rachel used her strength, ripped her off her shoulder, and threw her.
“Yummy, I’ve never tasted demon flesh before.” Ayla said she was licking her clawed finger.
Rachel let her back muscles relax, and wings sprang out from her back. They looked to be five feet across and appeared to look like dragon wings. She used them and jumped in the air. She disappeared into the fog above and landed on the top of the skyscraper. Alya dug her clawed fingers into the building and started to climb up.
Two miles from the two women, the two men had a ferocious fight. Parked cars had been blown to pieces. The fog was just as heavy, and Ryan used his new-found magic to make duplicates of himself. They all looked at the opponent, and quickly all of them chanted an incantation, and six-inch ice shards began to appear and launch themselves at the slim cat. The cat managed to dodge every single attack. The only attack he didn’t dodge was a cold winter spell. The cold blast started to freeze him in the midsection, and he moved in both directions. His legs quickly began to become immobilized, and he fell. His body had taken several seconds to completely freeze him. When he hit the ground, he shattered into pieces. He quickly ran tothe place where Rachel had been fighting. He saw plenty of flame attacks and a body falling to the ground. It was Rachel’s body. She had the car below her and caved in the roof. She was still breathing, but she was unconscious. Ryan saw the cat women look down at him, ran to the next roof, and disappeared from sight. He thought about running to her when Rachel grabbed his hand and held it.
“Don’t go; did you kill the one who killed Faith?” Rachel asked.
“Yeah, I did.” Ryan joked a little, “I managed to put him on ice.”
“That’s funny.” She laughed while saying, “Let’s get out of her before the cops show up.”
“Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.” Ryan said.
He scooped her up and gently lifted her close to him. He sensed two wizards come up behind him. They showed their hands; they had brown gloves on their hands. Brown robes with hoods covered one of their faces.
“Please, don't we think we were sent by the council?” Said the unhooded man, “John sent us in case something happened.”
"Really, that’s good,” Ryan said as he sighed.
"Ryan, it's important you follow us.” Said the hooded man, “We have John’s building under lock and key at the library, please.”
Ryan looked at them with a strong stare, smiled, and followed them. The unhooded man chanted a teleportation spell, and they all disappeared. A green mist of mana sprayed the whole area. The fog that had set in the city was now dissipating. The sun was beginning to come from the east. Cars had started to drive down the street. The wreckage was still visible, and police sirens began to fill the streets to see what the emergency was.
