This is the first time I have seen a cheetah and no one has to tell me how menacing it looks. The first thing that came to mind was to check its stats. If it is stronger than me, I'll bolt. [Advanced Appraisal]
Name: ?????
Race: Ko Pink Cheetah.
Level: 7.
Health Points = 8745
Mana Points = 1409
Strength = 908
Speed = 47
Durability = 370
Skills= [Hasten][Intimidation Aura][Killer Bite]
Now this is a beast. It is about two times faster than me and it has an advanced skill called [Hasten] too. I am doomed. Should I summon Kuma? If I do so, I don't think I'll get experience too. What should I do? Should I run away with Kuma and come back later when I am strong?
"Master, just so you know. You are stronger than it ."
{Stronger? Did you not see its level? It's level seven for crying out loud.}
"And you are now a level four Seed. Your base stats are higher than any mortal you will see so a little difference in level shouldn't scare you."
{Frankly, I am not scared. I know I should be scared since meeting a cheetah on earth will spell doom for a man unless they have guns or knows how to handle themselves in the jungle. After facing the Guardians, I feel like my mental fortitude has grown exponentially high. I was just considering the best way to deal with the enemy. Show me my stats. Make it similar to appraisal.}.
Name: Rox Ben Nide.
Race: Supreme Divine Seed.
Level: 4.
Health Points = 21863.
Mana Points = 4692.
Strength = 2186.
Speed = 37.59.
Durability =504.
I knew I was a Seed but I wasn't aware it had replaced my race. I beat it in everything but speed. But it doesn't matter. If my attacks do not connect then there's no point, I'll die in the end. I guess I'll still use Kuma if I find that I can not win. With its [Hasten] skill which can give it up to sixty per cent more speed, I'll have to be very careful.

I stood up, drew my dummy sword and assumed a defensive stance. As if on queue, the cheetah rushed at me. It didn't use the [Haste] skill so with the help of my fast thinking, which I have now dubbed, [Thought Acceleration], I was able to slash at it, forcing it to block my slash with its claws. It turned back to look at me nine meters away. It most likely didn't think I'd be able to fight back. It roared while unleashing its [Intimidating Aura] skill, but I knew I wouldn't be intimidated. I've seen true horror that pushed me past being able to piss myself. I couldn't even consider dying over there. {Ansah, I know I am not affected by this level of Intimidation but do I have a resistance skill against it?}.
"You have a resistance skill against both fear and Intimidation. They are both Legendary class so no lower [Fear ]or [Intimidation] aura skills in the same realm can affect you."
{Thank you. Now, what do you think is the best way to fight this beast?}.
"The best way will be to receive its attacks and counterattack. You have higher (HP) and Durability. So you can survive more attacks and deal more damage to it with your high attacks. You also have potions to aid you.".
I know but I don't think Rox, who has always enjoyed comfort will be able to endure the pain. Owusu can endure it but pain is pain. {I'll see what I can do about it.}.
After the cheetah's roar, it activated its [Hasten] skill and made a sprint at me. I watched intently using my supreme skill [Ability King Sirus]. I observed how it used mana to enhance its muscles for the explosive increase from forty-seven meters per second to seventy-five point two meters per second. Then...
"You have gained..."
I activate the [Hasten] skill by pushing as much mana as I can into it. I know it has levelled its [Hasten] up to level eight making its [Hasten] more efficient but I don't mind. I have more mana than it does.
"... the skill [Hasten]"
Boosting my speed to sixty meters per second, I tried to cut its right foremost limb which it was trying to use to push me down and it switched to biting the sword with [Killer Bite] and using its left middle limb to hit me instead. I left the sword to it and while thinking (You can have my sword if you want.), I executed [Rabbit Kick]. My leg clashed with its left middle limb and we were both thrown apart.
The pain I felt from the clash was miniscule but the cheetah couldn't put its second left leg on the ground. It suffered -2253(HP) damage while I suffered only -1682(HP) damage. The [Rabbit Kick] skill made my attack one point two times more powerful whilst it was using a normal strike. I saw after our separation that my sword had been bitten into two. That was a real killer bite over there.

I don't know just how slow it has gotten after losing more than twenty-five per cent of its (HP) but I should find out if it can dodge a [Fireball] spell from me. I charged a [Fireball] spell with 300(MP) focusing only on speed and shot it at the cheetah. Although it was probably having broken bones, it easily avoided the attack. Of course, even I will be able to dodge it. There was a twelve-meter distance between us and the top speed I could get was forty-one meters per second although the [Fireball] was fist size. Trying a bigger and hotter [Fireball] wouldn't help. I'm just not that proficient with the spell and it's just a basic spell too.
Wait a minute... If it realizes it will lose the fight, it will run away and I wouldn't be able to catch up without outside help. Unlike Earth Cheetahs, It can run on five limbs. It is currently trying to assess the situation. Maybe I can try to chase it until it runs out of stamina but I don't know the forest. It will lose me and I may lose my way back to the tent.
I limped down on my left leg making sure it sees it. Then I tried to limp backwards slowly. When it saw I was slowly trying to limp away, it sprinted at me at sixty-three meters per second. What it wasn't aware of, was the fact that I was chanting the [Fireball] spell in my head. This time, I was going for the very hot stuff. I gave it a treat of a football-sized [Fireball] burning at seven hundred Degrees Celsius at point blank range. Then I jumped unto it and gave it four full course heavy punches, crushing its ribs and killing it.
I must say, I am strong. Even Tarzan will cower in fear at the mention of my name.
"Listen here, Tom Cat, If you want to kill me, bring a level thirteen. You can't even withstand five punches from me. Weakling.". I gained the skill [Heat Resistance] from the heat of the fireball since I was also very close to the heat of the fireball.
I checked with [Advanced Appraisal] and it wasn't as tasty as the rabbits. I should try to rear some rabbits if I get the chance. Although it isn't supposed to be as sweet as a rabbit, I should keep it as a trophy. I picked the remaining dead rabbits from their burrows and put them in my second spacial ring. For the Cheetah, I decided I'd hold it while going back. It was just one hundred and twenty-eight kilograms so lifting it was like walking in the park.
*******
In no time, I found myself at my base. I decided to skin the cheetah myself and mount its skin as my trophy. Since this was my first time skinning an animal, I was struggling. So I decided to check my spoils of war while I was at it.
I got twenty-eight delicious rabbits. Time in the spacial rings is a hundred times slower so I decided to leave some of the rabbits in it since all twenty-eight wouldn't fit inside the freezer that I brought. For that reason, I decided to keep some in the ring. I'll mount another tent and put the freezer and the things I shouldn't keep in my bedroom inside it. The reason why I brought five tents was because they came in a set. I wanted to pick one out of the five but decided to bring all of them since I couldn't tell what would happen in the future. Having a backup is always better. I also got three skills from the rabbits. [Rabbit Kick], [Gale] and [Sense Predator]. I didn't notice when I got the sense predator skill but it may come in handy at the right time.
From the Cheetah, I got eighteen points one experience point (EXP). But for some reason, I levelled up. It turns out learning skills and levelling skills up also add to your experience points. Basic skills give one per cent of the experience points needed for the levelling to the user while ultimate skills give nine per cent. Gaining a common skill will only give me zero point one two points while getting an intermediate skill will give me almost sixty points. The formula for finding out how much experience you will gain is (1/2)C^(1+T/4) all divided by 100. Where C is the experience points needed to level up from level one to two. C is twenty-four for my skills. T is the threshold you have to normally reach with the skill before it automatically increases its class (rarity). T is ten for intermediate class skills.
When it comes to skills that I create or get from my skills, the formula is (1/2)C^(1+T/2) all divided by 100^(1+R). R is the difference between my realm and the rarity of the skill if realms and rarities were equivalent. R will be zero if my realm and the rarity of the skill are equivalent or if my realm is higher. For now, R for intermediate skills is one for me since I am currently a lower mortal.
The thresholds to be reached in the previous rarity for a skill to increase its rarity are as follows:
Basic=0
Intermediate =10
Advanced = 20
Elite = 50
Rare = 100
Epic = 200
Legendary = 450
Mythical = 750
Ultimate = 800
Supreme = 1000
I got two legendary skills when I was in The Supreme God's Domain but I would have died if I received the experience from them since I was too weak. So the system made it such that, after I level up past level one, I'll always receive fifty per cent of the experience I require to level up to the next level till I reach the Higher Divine Realm. If I sacrifice my levels or experience below the lower Devine realm, it wouldn't make much of a difference but doing so in the Lower Devine Realm itself would affect it.
Now, getting back to what I was talking about earlier, I got four skills from the Cheetah. [Hasten],[Intimidation Aura], [Prey Sense], and [Killer Bite]. I'm not a woman so I don't think I'll be using [Killer Bite] much.[Hasten] was an intermediate skill at level three, [Intimidation Aura] was at intermediate level one and [Killer Bite] was at intermediate level four. It must have liked biting a lot. Quite a wicked fellow but due to that, I got 298.6 (EXP) times four which raised me to level six. The cheetah itself only gave me 18.1 (EXP). Thank God I decided to create [Ability King Sirus]. Although I don't like being known as a trickster and cheat because of the skills I created, who doesn't like an easy way up?
After I was done skinning my trophy, I mounted it in the yellow sun. It was quite shabby. I don't think I'll even pay it a glance if I saw it on the market but although part of it was burnt, I was proud of it.
Before I went in to have some rice and rabbit stew I heard a powerful roar near my tent so I went to check it out. The rice I'm talking about is not exactly like the one on Earth but it is similar. It tastes far better though. At least that's what my current taste buds tell me. The roar was from an even larger cheetah which was at level twenty-seven. Was the one I just killed just a juvenile? Naa. It was too big for that. Maybe an adolescent or young adult who wanted to prey on weak bunnies. Since it's just a level twenty seven it can not come inside my barrier. Lemme fatten it up so that it will be even bigger when I'm going to kick its ass by giving it the meat that I have that I don't think I'll eat.
Now, how do I pass the meet to it? I summoned Xebec and used him to cut down a tree. It was as if I was cutting through butter with a hot knife. When it fell down, I cut a large slab out of it and put the meat on it. All this while, the level twenty-seven cheetah was watching me curiously. It was probably asking itself why this new friend in the neighbourhood creature wasn't running away.
{Master, did you summon me just for this?}. It seems Xebec is disappointed but I wanted to test just how sharp it is.
{Would you rather I use you only when I reach level ninety-nine?}.
{No, Master, I guess a trivial job is better than no job at all. Please call on me whenever you need help.}.
{By the way, how do you like my soul space?}.
{It's the best place I have ever been stored.}.
{Okay. Then see you later. Goodbye.}.
{Don't you want my help in dealing with that predator over there?}.
{No. I am saving it for later.}. I put Xebec back in my soul space although he wanted to stay.
I put the meat, together with the organs and waste onto the slab and went to the edge of the barrier after finding the squirrel and adding it to the slab as a snack. The cheetah tried to sprint and bite off my head but it hit the barrier first. I slowly pushed the slab outside the barrier. I went back and sent a drone to monitor it for me while I enjoyed my tasty meal. Maybe, I should have brought a maid robot with me.
It took a while but since the cheetah couldn't leave the food to the flies and let it go to waste, it feasted on its young. Come to think of it... Do Earth Cheetahs know how to roar? I think I heard somewhere that they don't.
