~~~~~Rox's Perspective~~~~~
So I have to reach level thirty first, huh? Well, I can easily reach that level tomorrow. I mean in twenty-four hour's time. For now, I have to level all of the skills I have to at least level fifteen.
{Ansah, can you do that for me?}
*Yes, Master*
{Thanks}
Now, when I used my [Field Appraisal] I saw Au, gathering some herbs and stuff. I think it's about time I let her teach me more about the herbs of this planet and how they cook their meals. I'll record her recipes for my automatic cooking machine too.
*******
Before I went to meet Au, I took my bath and changed into casual wear. Then I invited her to the tent that had my cooking machine inside it. Unfortunately, I wasn't the cooking utensils of this world and Au doesn't know how to use my cooking machine.
Luckily, I brought a synthesizing machine called a Synthesizing Gradient Capsule (SGC) that can synthesize any material for me and basically forge anything. Unfortunately, the fuel for this capsule is limited since I currently do not know how to reproduce it.
I still have terabytes of data about all the knowledge of Soyzy that I have yet to learn. If I do so then I can probably reproduce the fuel for the SGC.
Even if I use my Education Capsule, a machine for instilling information into a person's brain, How much information that person can retain after the procedure is dependent on their ability.
Same as we forget things after learning, if you are not smart enough to retain the information, you will simply forget it. The same capsule can be used to strengthen or heal a person. It can even be used to regrow lost limbs.
It is called a CogniGen Capsule, because of its capabilities. The only reason I am yet to use the CogniGen Capsule is because it takes thirty Soyzian days each use and I have yet to stabilize things here.
Anyway, after considering things for a while, I let Au describe the tools they use in cooking and after holographic images of them and confirming that they are right, I synthesized them using the SGC. I returned it to my spacial ring when I was done. I can not leave such a precious device outside.
After that, I watched Au cook and recorded everything. She was quite a good cook and the meals she prepared were better than the ones I cooked for myself while I was on Earth.
To be frank, the meals I cooked for myself back on Earth weren't that great. At that time I found them tasty though. Living as Rox has increased my expectations when it comes to food so compared to the food that I have enjoyed as Rox, I can only give her cooking two stars out of ten. I don't think my cooking back on Earth is even worthy of a star.
"I'm sorry My Lord, but my cooking is not that good. I don't think you should eat it" Au said after tasting her own food. She has been eating food cooked by my cooking machine lately and after tasting her own meal, she felt ashamed.
"It is not bad. You are a better cook than I am." I should be better at cooking than her now because I got an intermediate cooking skill from Eu but compared to Owusu Ansah, she is a better cook.
I called Juba in and we all dined together. Juba complained that the food wasn't sweet but I shut her up with a glance.
While having our Planet Ko-style cuisine, I asked; "I have reason to believe that there is a faster way of gaining levels in this forest by defeating certain creatures. Which of the two of you know anything about it?"
"My Lord, according to my knowledge, the fastest way to level up is by defeating monsters but monsters are quite powerful, especially the ones in this forest. We call this forest a dangerous area mainly because of the monsters that dwell in certain parts of the forest."
"Master, I don't know if the creatures in the north, the place I told you that any cheetah who went there never returned are the same as the monsters she is talking about but if they are, then I can take you there if you want. I have grown stronger now and I would like to see if I am strong enough to enter that area."
Stolen story; please report.
Both Au and Juba replied giving me an answer to my problem. Currently, the only reason I have to slow down my levelling is because my soul keeps levelling up faster than my body which puts a toll on my body.
This wouldn't happen to a normal person but I have so many skills and I keep getting more. Since skills are connected to the soul, my soul keeps leaving my body behind when it comes to power.
"Juba, do you think you can venture into that area now?" After Juba became my subordinate, his level was recalculated based on the experience he had gained which reduced his level from twenty-seven to twenty-one.
Her level was then suppressed to eighteen because my subordinates can not be at a higher level than myself. Since I am now level twenty-five, Juba is now back to being a level twenty-one whose stats are above that of a level twenty-eight tier-one cheetah.
Same as I sacrificed my experience to let the other subordinates keep their levels, I can sacrifice some of my experience to get her back to her previous level.
Juba proudly stood up and replied; "Master, although I feel like I am stronger than I previously was, I don't think I am strong enough to venture there alone. But since I'll be going there with you, I have nothing to fear."
"So, how long will we take to get there?" I have to know so that I can make my plans.
"Previously, it would have taken me about a week to get there but I think I can do it in three days now. Of course, If I go at full speed with no regard for the environment, I can reach there in less than an hour. Just that I'll be exhausted by the time I reach that place."
Just how big is this forest that a mount as fast as Juba has to take that long to reach certain parts? Is it as big as a country? Well, the environment may be the major reason why it takes longer though.
I picked a slice of delicious rabbit meat and as I was about to put it inside my mouth, I realized Au was looking at us with a blank face.
"Au, do you have something you want to say or ask?" I asked Au not knowing what was on her mind.
"Urm, My Lord, what is a 'week' and a 'days'?". That was unexpected but I should have guessed it. Juba was taught all that she knows by the system so that she would be able to properly serve me but Au is different.
Although I have passed [Multiversal Language Comprehension] to Au, She can only understand things she already understands in her primary language. Since her planet does not have days and nights, it is obvious why she couldn't comprehend what Juba said.
[Multiversal Language Comprehension] couldn't translate it directly to her. Because of that, I had to explain to her that a day is about two-thirds of a mini cycle and a week is six days.
The days Juba was talking about are Soyzian days. Soyzian days are only twenty Earth hours and Soyzian weeks are just six Soyzian days making Soyzian days and weeks shorter than Earth days and weeks but on average, Soyzian months are actually longer than Earth months since Soyzian months are 38.3 Soyzian days on average.
After thinking for a while, I asked Juba how long it would take us to get to where his grandfather and his kin were. Turns out we were not that far away from them at all.
To be precise, we are currently in the territory of the cheetahs and although they are in the east relative to where I am, they are just a few kilometres away.
For creatures as fast as the cheetahs, a few kilometres are nothing. Because of that, I decided that we would go and subjugate the cheetahs first then we would pick a mount for Au and head to the north, the place I have decided I'll call The Monster's Domain.
As we kept on enjoying our not-so-tasty meal, we finalized what we would do after our meal.
I'll first head back to the rabbit's warren and subjugate them by creating a fence around it. After that, I'll leave Au behind to take care of our base and head to where the cheetahs are and subjugate them too.
Initially, I wanted to be the one to defeat The Blitzing Fang and conquer the cheetahs but since I'll be letting Juba become their next leader, I realized it would be best to let her do the honours.
Because of that, I thought it best to increase Juba's level. I stood up, walked to Juba with an air of majesty around me and asked; "Juba, would you like to be the one to subjugate your kin?"
Juba bowed her head and said; "Master, I would like to, but I fear I am still too weak to go against my grandfather."
I was already aware of that. Judging by the level of the Sky Lord, I think the Blitzing Fang should also be at around level thirty-five.
"I know. That is why I am going to increase your level." I have already done so with Zairitz and the rest although I didn't do it myself. I let Ansah manage it so this is the first time I am doing it myself without Ansah's help. Ansah is currently busy levelling up my skills for me.
"Really!?" Juba started wagging her tail like a puppy would.
"Of course, I want you to be their next leader and the best way would be for you to prove yourself to them." After saying this, I placed my hands on Juba and started passing some of my experience to her. There was no need to touch her as we were already connected through my [Ruler's Reach] skill but it just felt right.
