Loyalty Explains Comments - Patrons

Pinned Comment (Melena): Any comments about the fact I'm a loli or that are inappropriate are going to be deleted from now on. These videos are here to give information on the System, and the comments are for asking questions.

Pinned Comment: Whats ur story with obsession

Melena: I hate that they exist because they have a relatively similar domain to mine. They take almost all of my would-be proteges because people find obsession to be an easier concept to grasp than loyalty. However, I am glad they exist because they also take all the people who default to having Obsession as their Patron. They would definitely not belong with me, because those who are truly one of Obsession's flock aren't truly loyal to anything. They obsess for the sake of obsessing, then move on when something else takes their interest.

Comment: Does everyone get the same rewatd from paths?

Melena: Yes. This will be covered when I talk about Paths, which will probably be immediately after the video on Skills.

Comment: Can we get a list of all the Patrons and the Skills they give?

Melena: I honestly do not know all of them, and some of them are very secretive. I doubt you will ever know the Patron of Secret's granted Skills without forcing the information out of one of his proteges. There does already exist a nearly comprehensive list at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Patron_Skills, which is accurate, as far as my knowledge goes. The only easy one that's missing is me, which I will add after I send this reply.

Comment: How many proteges do you have?

Melena: None, at the moment, sadly. A long time ago, there was a small group that were loyal enough to each other to get me as a choice as a Patron. They all chose me, which was nice. Sadly, they all died a while later when their world got an invasion. Just recently, I had a protege who won the Level 26 to 40 bracket of the Architect Tournament; but sadly, he disappeared after the tournament ended. I haven't heard from him since then.

Comment: rip

Comment: What's your special world like?

Melena: It's a garden with multiple of every plant that I know about. Your world has a surprisingly low number of unique plants. It's not anywhere near the lowest, but is has the 88th lowest unique species count out of millions of worlds.

Comment: do them patrons ever meet up often

Melena: Some Patrons are very close, and a couple groups are even in marriage-like relationships; however, I do not know of any big gatherings of any sort. The closest thing to a large Patron gathering would be the Architect Tournament. Few Patrons don't attend.

Comment: how do intrest work

Melena: I recommend you look up a video on compound interest, rather than asking me.

Comment: Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Melena: What?

Comment: dead meme

Comment: It's a really old meme.

Comment: Whay are the interest rats like that

Melena: Why is anything the System does the way it is? It's just one of the many, many mysteries that we may never know. The Skill that originated the Patron system did not even include Patron Points, so we are uncertain as to why they were added. One theory why they exist is that they were added as a way to limit the very powerful Patrons' rewards and to artificially increase the weak Patrons' rewards. He have no good guesses as to why the interest rates were set to what they are beyond, "The person or process that updates the System thought these numbers would be correct."

Comment: were dp the tier names come from

Melena: This is unknown, but 3 obvious sets of names exist: The first group being very generic tier names, then a group with slight religious undertones, then a group relating to craftsmanship. It is unknown why these names exist and alternate like they do.
