Loyalty Explains Comments - Equipment and Enchanting

Pinned Comment (Melena): I will be deleting all comments about the fact that I'm a loli or that are inappropriate.

Comment: Where can I buy the best equipment?

Melena: The best equipment comes from the Patron of Crafts or the Patron of Forging, depending on if you need non-metal armor or not. I do not know of any sources of crafted equipment on Earth, but I'm sure they exist.

The One: Would you be able to put me in contact with them?

Melena: Anyone can attempt to contact any Patron through the messaging system, in the same way you would a friend. If you give me the name on your Status and are above level 90, I will talk to them.

The One: Thanks, my character name is The One. I'm currently the highest level person on Earth, if we exclude you Patrons.

Comment: Where can I get my equipment enchanted?

Melena: You can ask the Patron of Enchanting, though I doubt they would agree. They are currently working with Google to learn about and upgrade their System integration.

Comment: why would you ever used condensed equipment

Melena: You can use it when facing an enemy that is likely to destroy your armor and has a way to disperse Skill-created equipment. In my opinion, everyone should have a soul armory, but using the equipment inside should never be plan A, B, or C.

Comment: E

Melena: Ok, what is this?

Comment: @Patron of Loyalty E

Comment: It's a dumb meme that should already be dead.

Comment: How long do enchantments last?

Melena: Enchantments last until they are destroyed. Typically, a piece of equipment also gets an enchantment to make it more durable to avoid enemies easily destroying your enchantments.

Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.

Comment: Can enchantments be dispelled?

Melena: No.

Comment: do enchantments run out of power or need to be recharged?

Melena: No.

Comment: I wonder how many comments she has to delete every video

Melena: 58 have been deleted from this video as of writing, and the number of comments I delete each video only increases.

Comment: Can an enchantment get weaker over time

Melena: No. If an enchantment ever gets damaged or the material it is made of degrades, the enchantment simply ceases to function.

Comment: How many fights did you record?

Melena: 24. Few of them mattered for this video.

Comment: Can clothes be equipment?

Melena: Earth clothes are not robust enough to hold enchantments, but it is possible to enchant thicker clothes. You can also enchant a small plate of some harder, thicker material and attach it to your clothes to get the enchantment's benefits.

Comment: Does that mean you can have infinite enchantments if you had infinite material?

Melena: No. Enchanted material must be within roughly 1 Earth inch of your body to gain the benefits of the enchantment.

Comment: How many enchantments can be applied to an item?

Melena: At the smallest theoretical size, you could fit roughly 23000 of the smallest enchantment - an increase to your Stamina Regeneration by a flat 1 - into a cubic inch of material; however, no one has managed to fit more than 200 such enchantments in the same volume. A larger enchantment is more efficient until we discover a method of enchanting that can go smaller than 883 copies of an enchantment into that volume.

Comment: Can you make an enchantment using health or stamina?

Melena: Technically, you can make an enchantment using any method that destroys the material. The most commonly used is a specialized Skill for manipulation of Mana due to Mana being very easy to manipulate compared to the other energies, and non-specialized Skills usually being much too imprecise.
