"What? Did anyone else-" He stops himself, as he notices everyone but him, Chuuni, and Music as Jhin are gone. A few seconds later, people begin to appear one by one, if rapidly. "Did anyone else get double quest complete notifications?"
Nods, yeses, yeps, and/or yeahs all around. He checks his status and finds he has, in fact, gained a total of 60000 experience. "Probably because of the reset," he projected to Music and Chuuni. After going inside to find Ted, he asks, "So, Ted, how does the building store work, and how many points do we have?"
"That is information for the village leader," he responds flatly.
After pulling his mom inside and a bit of verbal tennis, they were able to get Ted to talk about stuff like this with anyone designated by the village leader. After that, Degritone repeats his previous questions. "It's simply an interface that grants the village leader access to designing, structural testing, and instantaneous creation of buildings. A building costs 1 Building Point, also called BP, per cubic yard of material. Additional BP can be spent to add various effects to buildings, such as debuff suppression, increased crafted item quality, increased experience gain, etc.. This village has 400 BP at the moment."
"What about the free Dungeon we get?"
"Dungeons are locations where you can defeat many monsters and complete objectives for quick experience. While the permanent Dungeons created from villages have significantly weaker boss monsters than naturally spawned dungeons, they still have the same limitation that people cannot stay inside longer than a minimum of 10 subjective days before they begin to risk major, System-bypassing negative effects, the duration of which depend on the individual. The record known to village spirits for subjective time spent in any Dungeon before instantaneous death on exit is 38 days, 19 hours, 22 minutes, 793 milliseconds, and many more precise measurements that would take too long to list here."
Degritone looks at his body, then his arms, then to the side as he quietly says to himself, "Did I get more Randidlyed than I thought?" After his eyes flicking back and forth for many seconds in thought, he decided to leave exploring the building store to his family and ignore the ramifications of the last point until later. "So, what about these tokens we got for completing the quest?"
"You may turn in any Token you obtain to a village spirit to obtain their effects. Some Tokens cannot be redeemed until you have unlocked their functions, such as Class evolutions."
"I would like to redeem two Intentional Class Evolution Tokens, then."
Ted nodded and gestured at Degritone like he was telling him to come closer. Two oversized coins appeared from Degritone's chest and quickly floated into Ted's hand. He crushed one and Degritone once again found himself inside his soul, with his now more red Class rings around him. "Imagine your ideal form," he heard Ted saw from all around him.
Degritone closed his eyes and imagined himself, sword in hand, destroying the cultists around Victoria. His blood began to figuratively boil as he began to imagine slowly torturing a child rapist to death before he clamped down on that thought, more directly thinking about preventing that in the first place. Appearing anywhere a loli needed him, killing any literal or figurative monster threatening them, playing with them when they're lonely, giving them food when they're hungry, and just generally doing everything in his power to make the lives of every loli as great as he possibly can.
He doesn't notice when he's pulled out of his soul, missed the notification about his Class evolving, and missed his return to his soul for the second round. His thoughts slowly shifted more toward a more general image: Doing almost literally anything a loli asks of him that he is capable of doing.
After a few minutes, he felt Music, back in her loli form, pull on his arm, pulling him out of his own mind.

"I miss having 50 million Health Regeneration per second." He makes his status display his Health Regeneration per second, coming out to 190.922.... "Granted, all other numbers were dumb, as well. I can't one shot myself with a single Skill while going primarily tanky anymore. No more New World-level numbers." He picked up Music and asked Ted, "Can I use redeem a Condensing Tutorial Token?"
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
"Yes, that is not one of the things that are locked at the start."
"I will redeem one, then."
Ted nodded and gestured once more, and an extra large, yellow coin floated out of Degritone and to Ted's hand. When it was crushed, Degritone found himself in a pure white room. With him was a quadrupedal creature. The creature was 4-feet foot to ear and 9 feet nose to tail and had large plates on its body, like an armadillo if all the bands of individual plates were singular plates.
One of the plates slid forward and two arms unwrapped from under the creature's armor. "Look at your stomach," came a hoarse voice from the creature as a 3-fingered and 2-thumbed hand pointed at him.
Degritone looked down and saw his soul, as yellow and stripey as it had been when he saw it with Soul Sight.
"Reach inside your soul and impress upon the energy there the shape you wish it to take."
Tilting his head, he put his hand on his belly, but his hand did not go inside his body, as he'd expected. Looking up, he asked, "Is this tutorial personalized?"
"Teachers are chosen when their methods are predicted to be the most effective to the individual student, yes."
Nodding, Degritone tried to sink into his soul like he had his resource pools when they still existed in a physical location. Successful, he reached out a hand and told the space around him to take the shape of Chuuni's sword. Instantly the sword appeared in his hand. He pulled himself out of his soul to find a yellow sword in his actual hand.
"All my students have been quick learners by necessity, but that was by far the fastest I've ever seen anyone successfully Condense the first time."
"What is Condensing?"
"As you've probably already surmised, it's creating objects by condensing your raw soul into a solid form. From gas to solid. Most take a few minutes to go from gas to liquid, then about a day to go from a liquid to a solid, at least until they get a handle on the art of Condensing. And those are the fast ones. To go from gas to solid on your first try seconds after arriving, you must either have a really weak soul or an extremely strong will."
"How does soul strength factor in?"
"With the recent changes, weaker souls need less energy to create the same volume of Condensed Soul. The remaining energy is made up for through artificial soul provided by the system. It weakens the overall structure, but allows those with weaker souls to still get the benefits, if to a lesser degree, of using Condensed equipment."
After a few seconds of the teacher not elaborating, Degritone asks, "Which are?"
"Weapon breaking and armor piercing Skills cannot be used through Condensed weapons and armor, unless the device used is also a Condensed item of similar strength. Condensed items can also be created and used without the use of your typical resources. Mana Armor and Mana Weapon will always be superior in damage reduction and damage simply because they are actual Skills, but they are capable of being broken and pierced, through both Mana-negating Skills and their respective types of equipment destroying Skills.
"Unlike raw images which can have similar benefits, they do not take any amount of concentration to maintain. Once they're made, they are made. While not as flexible in their applications due to being a set and forget effect, once you're good at Condensing, you can call upon and dismiss equipment nearly as fast as a raw image, assuming you are even capable of creating an image strong enough to affect reality. The one major downside of Condensing is that it needs to be an actual object. You cannot Condense, say, a fire.
"And finally, once you are good enough at Condensing, you can simply create an armory inside your soul to call upon without having to actively Condense each time you need a Condensed object. This allows you to have weapons and armor as soon as your reaction time allows. Mana equipment takes time, and very few have enough control over their images to call upon them as fast as a well trained Condenser can call out their equipment."
Degritone shrugged. "Doesn't seem very useful to me, but I'll keep it in mind." He attempted to dismiss his sword and is disappeared. Going back inside his soul, he saw it floating there. Looking around, he saw the chair from the first time he entered his soul. "Odd it considered that an attack. Maybe..." Maybe creating the chair wasn't the attack? But it said an attack from inside my soul, right? It's been months of subjective time, so it's hard to remember exactly.
Though, I could have somehow messed up the first time? Called upon too much energy or got some of the wall or something? He shrugged in his soul form and exited his soul. He imagined the location of the sword in his soul, then grabbed. The sword appeared. He dismissed it and repeated this multiple times. The teacher's eyes widened significantly. They opened their mouth just before Degritone found himself back in his home. He dismissed his weapon.
"So, how was it?" His mom asked.
"Odd. Doesn't seem useful for me, but I can imagine it'd be useful for you. Maybe not dad or Deed. I don't really know the rest of the family enough to know who it'll be useful for. It's basically the creation of nearly indestructible items. Everyone else should apparently expect their lesson to take about a full day. I was apparently the quickest learner my teacher had seen. Anyway, goodbye. This is probably the last time we'll talk face to face until some emergency calls me back."
With that, he picked Music back up and walked out the door. Chuuni touched him and all three of them appeared above a city, kept aloft by Chuuni.
