Getting level 10 may have not gotten me an evolution but atleast I was able to get safely back with Cake. As me and Cake are currently sitting and relaxing at Hole Base. Cake has also gotten a lot bigger although not much has else changed, other than ‘her’ getting larger, to about my size. Also, that's right I have officially designated the crab as a ‘her’ simply because I refuse to change the name and Cake is simply too adorable to be a guy.
...I also have no idea how to check, but that's besides the point.
Alright! On to the next delicious goody. GladOs, how much Biomass do I have?
[Material Storage: 62/100
Wow...really 62! GladOs you shouldn't have! Imagine the possibilities, I can finally get out of being physically weaker than almost everything in this cave.
Honestly, what do I upgrade? I mean look at all these possibilities?
I think getting a better foundation and then going into some more obscure upgrades will be good, it is always a good idea to upgrade that which you use most.
Alright I have decided to put all of them into my suction cups and draining spikes. I use my suction cups to move around and draining spike is my only form of attack, still.
(Confirmed, You have Maxed out your Draining Spike and Suction Cups using 57 Biomass, and as such you may choose one additional Upgradable mutation to add to them.)
I may choose an additional upgrade for an upgrade, a little bit confusing but lets see what there is.
===
[Choose 1 for your Draining Spike:
Blood Draining- Faster Draining in organisms with Blood.
Poison Draining- Draining also inflicts Poison.
Filter Draining- Filters the Biomass to get rid of possible damaging substances (Poisons etc.), but slows down the draining process.
Paralyzing Draining- An enemy will be slowly paralyzed the longer a spike is inside them.
Detached Spike- Detach a spike inside an enemy and it will slowly accrue Biomass, which can be collected when it is reconnected with the body.
Barbed Spike- Your spike becomes a hooked barb making it harder for you to be knocked off your enemies, while you drain them.
Sharpened Spike- Your spike becomes able to cut through flesh much easier but it becomes slightly ineffective against other materials.
Serrated Spike- Your spike cuts through all materials slightly better.
Brain Parasite Spike- If a spike is implanted in an enemies brain there is a chance that their body can be taken over as long as the spike is inside them.
Acid Spike- Reduces Biomass gained but allows the host to kill quicker and cut through all materials easier.
Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
Pulverizing Spike- The spike slowly pulls back into the host's body and can then be launched at much faster speeds allowing it to do more damage.
Fracking Draining- Spreads small tendrils from a spike embedded in an enemy which increases draining but also drains your health.
===
Wow! There are so many choices, although I think I want to give my spike some variation in attack patterns, so that only leaves Pulverizing, Brain Parasite, and Detached Spike. Although Fracking could be really good if my regeneration can cancel it out. Filter Draining might also be good but then regeneration can also fix that if it gets high enough… I think I just realized how powerful regeneration is if it gets good, even if it does cost a lot of Biomass to upgrade.
Alright enough second guessing myself and thinking about regeneration. I need to choose one of the three new attack moves.
Pulverizing is good for an opening strong attack but is useless for anything else as it needs time to wind up, but that opening attack might deal enough damage to make the fight go so much easier.
Brain Parasite sounds the most exciting being able to take over an enemy just by hitting the brain with your spike, even if you do have to leave your spike inside them it could be very useful if I can kill that komodo dragon.
Detached Spike also sounds very good. You can just leave a spike inside them that eats away at them while you attack or dodge.
They all seem very good like too good maybe I'm just paranoid but, I feel like they all have hidden weaknesses. GladOs must not want me to know, I guess that's something you do as an evil but misunderstood robot that did eons of testing.
No no I'm just trying to second guess my decision. Lets just imagine they are all perfect and have no hidden catches that GladOs implanted to mess with me, alright!?
Brain Parasite seems the best, turning an enemy into a temporary ally, even if I will have to deal with them eventually, I can easily put myself into an advantageous position to do it.
And that is why I am getting a Brain Parasite, ehh I said that wrong, that is why I am going to be giving out brain parasites. Yeah, that sounds much better!
[Confirmed, You have selected Brain Parasite for your Draining Spike]

[You can Select 1 Upgrade for your Suction Cups]
Anti-Grav Suction Cups- Consumes Stamina but allows you to cancel out a proportion of Gravity.
Drilling Suction Cups- Drills into the ground to allow for greater grip.
Silent Suction Cups- Consumes Stamina but allows your steps to be silent.
Magnetic Suction Cups- Suction Cups can pull metal toward them.
Anti-Roll Suction Cups- Much harder to knock you off moving objects.
Hardened Suction Cups- Makes your suction cups more solid to allow for blunt attacks.
Heat Resistant Suction Cups- Allows you to more easily and safely stick on hot ground.
Freeze Resistant Suction Cups- Allows you to more easily and safely stick on freezing ground.
Toxic Resistant Suction Cups- Allows you to more easily and safely stick on toxic ground.

Alright, this is a much easier decision for me. I didn't even look at any others.
To go from crawling on the ceiling to flying. What other option do I need other than that! I choose Anti-Grav Suction Cups, lay it on me GladOs.
The world turned black once again or at least it would have if this blood soaked paper did not show in my dreams.
‘Hello, I'm back, it has been a little while since I last checked on you and I see you are enjoying your new life a little more than your old one. I would just like to say I am surprised with some of the decisions you have made and others not as much. It taking you this long to fully upgrade a limb and get an extra mutation really surprised me, but you did get two at the same time, so I guess it evens out. Finally I would just like to thank you for accepting the contract. I know it has a lot of rules, 5292092 rules to be exact, but who's counting. Anyway bye...bye’
With Annihilation,
[Nothing]
What a weird message to get from the god who brought me to this world, he didn't even give me his name, Gilbert is a much better god than you, he sent me a penguin emote!
I wake up and the world resumes to normal once again. Cake keeps a diligent watch on our rock door, but enough of that I have gained two new abilities and I cannot wait to try them out, even if they will undoubtedly start out weak.
-Draining Spike: Draining( Max)
Breakthrough:( Max)
Brain Parasite: (Extremely Weak)
-Suction Cups:
Grip: (Max) Power:(Max)
Anti-Grav: (Extremely Weak)
It's time to try out my new anti-gravity. I try it out and feel a little lighter as it drains my stamina, I can move faster since gravity has been lessened. I stop using it since my stamina has been drained by about half in 30 seconds of using it.
I can't test out the new Brain Parasite ability yet, but I already know it is going to be a great addition. What can it work on, I wonder?
Well, I can imagine it working on all manners of weak squishy brains such as lizards, wolves, crabs, millipedes, beetles, and other creatures.
...
I wonder if it could work on humans?
