Leo felt his connection to the Void strengthen as he activated his Bloodline Manual. His plan was to draw on the power of the void through his Manual normally a manual grants you use of the aspect you want in Leo’s case the Void. If you use too much you end up hurting yourself by overwhelming yourself with too high grade concepts. Leo’s plan was to use his own Void to take control over the Void in the Manual after all the Void can consume everything why couldn’t it consume other Voids? Leo’s Energy reserves turned an inky black the pure Energy cultivators use replaced by the inky black of the Void.
Shade dashed over her speed leaving afterimages trailing. The inky black sword stabbing straight towards Leo’s heart. Leo held out his hand surprised to see that it was jet black like his whole body was. A weird sludgy liquid like slime shot out carrying the same inky black color. Shade swiped her other sword made of angelic fire to counteract Leo’s ink. Leo smiled activating Void Heart he’s never felt so connected to the Void it was as smooth as water. The fire was consumed by his Void Heart but Shade wasn’t deterred the wheel spun three times in quick succession and three barriers of light blocked out most of the inky substance from touching her. Shade was still driven back and Leo now had the initiative.
Leo sprinted infusing the [Black Steel Katana] with Void Energy and slashed the tip of the sword leaving a black arc aiming at Shade’s head. Shade blocked with her abyssal sword and slashed at Leo’s midsection with the sword made of angelic flame. Leo’s midsection was nearly bisected but he felt no pain as there was no pain in the Void there was only hunger the hunger to consume everything. Shade’s eyes lost the excitement of fighting someone who could finally match her instead they were replace by something more ruthless more coldhearted. Shade wasn’t going to be holding back Leo had to be cautious.

The wheel of the Abyss and the wheel of Heaven merged into a dark red wheel of pure destruction. Just gazing on the wheel made Leo think of the Heavenly Tribulation that put him out of commission for a week. It was for sure infused with powerful Dao’s. That was one of Leo’s weakness he didn’t have a Dao that he could use it said that he had a Heavenly Peak of Dao of the Void but he couldn’t use it just now and not having a Dao is a huge disadvantage. Shade’s eyes gleamed red as the robes of the Abyss and Heavens became the unrelenting armor of War.
Shade charged her advance reminded Leo of a charging army and he started blasting out [Void Slashes] and [Void Surge] as he called the inky black substance indiscriminately. Leo’s attacks were most rebuffed only leaving a couple scratches on Shade’s weird armor. Shade ran up punching Loe in the face driving his now featureless pitch black face into the wall. Shade’s momentum crashed into Leo and he flew across half the arena across the wall.
Leo felt a palpable sense of danger as Shade advanced. But Leo could only continue infusing his hands with even more Void than it already had bringing them up into a kickboxing stance he learned from Peak. Shade came up with a mean right hook aiming for Leo’s temple. Leo blocked and came up with a knee to the midsection Shade sidestepped and kicked with her left leg aiming for Leo’s head. Leo bent back 90 degrees dodging the kick and used the momentum of bending over to do a back somersault bringing his leg backwards towards Shade’s chin. Shade’s armor glowed excusing a bloodthirsty aura that rebuffed Leo’s foot.
Leo finished the move and tried to retreat a couple steps but Shade was relentless charging continuously swinging her hands into all parts of Leo’s body. Leo felt his consciousness fade away as a pang of pain shot through the Void and his Bloodline Manual couldn’t keep up he felt a final swing towards his right temple connect as he fell backwards the Void leaving his body.
Shade won.
