Only the one,
can do the undone,
trespass the unknown,
to find the keystone,
vanquish the evil,
to liberate the people.
Evelyn was more perplexed than ever. Had this just been a game of words? Did this even mean anything? The message was pretty clear apart from some lines. It was obvious that the one had to defeat the Devil and free everyone. But was it actually her?
That’d mean she had to train so much and then at one point fight her own father. For all she cared about, the Devil was just another stranger in her eyes. No dad would do what he did to her and her mother. She hadn’t ever met either of her parents now that she was thinking about it. Anger filled her up till she came to her own self.
What would this even mean? Find the keystone? I’d suppose the Devil has some kind of weakness then. And I have to trespass the unknown? How? And most importantly, what?
How did we go from the truth for all that had happened to me to this. I can only handle this much. Perhaps Tibius knows more.
“What is this suppose to mean?” asked Eve.
“We don’t know. Only you do.” replied Tibius.
“What do you mean? I’ll read it for you then.”

“Eve stop. We don’t understand anything. Only you are meant to know the meaning of it. We can’t even tell if you are just talking non-sense or actually trying to communicate something. That’s the way it works. The script understands that you’re trying to deliver the message and it doesn’t let you. Cause you are the only one who has to know.” said Tibius.
“B-but, but, I don’t understand it. I can’t read it, but I can try to give you the message, right? It is telling me that I have to beat my Dad and free everybody. I have to destroy something so my Dad can get weaker and I can deal the final blow. That’s what I understood so far.”
“Interesting. Would certainly make sense.”
“Yes, but how am I even suppose to find it? I don’t know the whereabouts.”
“Everything at its time.”

“Wouldn’t it make more sense for you to practice some now?” said Kotlin. “I don’t think you can beat the Devil itself in your current position.”
“Yeah, you’re righ—
And Eve disappeared.
She found herself in the same setting she had been when she was dreaming. She was filled with nostalgia. The hall was literally the same, with all the 6 statues splitted everywhere and the ca— Wait, the mysterious cat-looking creature wasn’t there anymore. That was more than odd. She wasn’t afraid however. She was just curious to why this had happened. Did she suddenly faint and then find herself here? That’s the question she was asking herself. Or was this all connected to the script? Maybe she’d immediately find the keystone here. No. Reality interrupted abruptly and all the statues came to life. She was astonished.
“Hello little one. We’ve been expecting your presence.” said one of the statues.
“Isn’t she delicious?” said another one.
“Yes, yes.” replied yet another one.
“We’ve been hungry for millennials. We’ll finally fill the void.” continued another one.
“We shouldn’t waste any time. Go get her!”
The smallest of the statues suddenly started moving towards her. Each step getting quicker. Eve was still left in awe. Was this really what these statues meant? And was this really the perfect timing to get here? She hadn’t trained at all and she was as weak as ever. There’s no way she could take all of them down.
As the Statue was getting closer and closer, a sudden energy filled her body. It couldn’t end here, she had to completely find out everything and finish her task.
She took out her dagger and with an elegance she swiftly dodged the statue approaching her and one shotted it with her dagger; gaining ACCELERATION +10
Some of the statues were bewildered, as was Eve. Some didn’t look surprised. The main one eyed another Statue and after an exchange of looks another one started approaching her.
Even though Evelyn was still surprised, she now felt confident. She didn’t wait for no Statue to get to her, she wanted to strike first. Her confidence being the highest it could have gotten, she deeply believed she could’ve taken all of the remaining 5 down.
That didn’t last much cause the current Statue was a thousand times stronger and knocked her out immediately. She was now powerless.
As all good things come to an end, Eve was accepting her fate. When the Statue was about to strike her, an immense light came out of nowhere. It was the cat-looking thing. Eve was more relieved than surprised this time. There was no time for questions. She had just been saved, and not for the first time. She looked closer to it and it was a daemon. It was splendid, just as she remembered in her dreams. The daemon slowly approached Eve and sit on her shoulder. They were a team.
Eve— no, the two of them had now defeated two statues. And they weren’t gonna stop there. Or were they?
All of a sudden they came back to where Eve previously was, with the main Statue swears fading after her departure. She was more content than ever. But at what cost.
She quickly noticed the situation, they weren’t alone anymore. Two people had joined and they were beating the hell out of everyone. It looked like Tibius was laying on the ground and Shaiyla was raging everywhere.
