The odd child has grown up

The odd child has grown up

A few years later and the young baby boy with crystal clear golden eyes who was now 6 years old. In the years that went by, his intelligence and strength grew faster than any others like him.

His skills gave him a 100% boost to everything you could possibly get from strength, intelligence, and magic but also received a 20+ year lifespan. So if he survived, he would be the oldest rixis to ever live and probably take a long time. For someone to get to that age again unless it's another golden eye.

So Heliosad was full of excitement as he would wander around the tribe constantly asking questions, confusing the other tribes members, and building strange things.

He would gather different plants and materials and see how he could mix and mash them together. He would mix mud with sand or clay with wood, trying anything and everything he could he was on new uncharted territory. With most buildings being tents and walls being wooden spikes and rocks cobbled on tip of each other.

Along with this came his small group of followers he coalesced with around 10 kids who would play or talk to him while he experimented. They didn't know what he was trying to do but liked to hang out with him as he was fun to talk to.

Still, their parents also helped recognise that Heliosad was special and wanted their own kids to try and gain something from him. Heliosad realised this, so he started to test and manipulate those around him so that only those useful to him would be stay.

Those who stayed were 2 who were twins, a brother and sister both large and tall with green skin and brown eyes. They would be the muscle who kept back all the annoying monsters and people that would try to distract him from his work.

Then there were his 4 collectors who found and gathered material for him to try and test and hopefully gain something useful from. Another 3 helped him in his daily life, such as getting him food and drink or keeping his place of work clean and helping give information between the group.

Finally, he had his most trusted and only friend and his partner, who was the only person of similar age and intelligence. Her name was Vientrox she was also 6, and compared to the rest, she was a prodigy.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

Now she was still a kid, so she behaved like one, but she understood things quicker than the average child and had the curiosity to want to know more. She did not have the almost cold and calculated mind Heliosad had in which he was more interested in the action than the person doing it.

For example, when his fascination started with construction and creation itself, it was his parents who inspired him, but to him, that wasn't important. Now, he still loved them and would burn down a tribe if they were ever killed by someone. But he was a smart and strong Jackrixis with a loyal group of followers with a high level of competence.

It was inevitable that he would mature and leave his home earlier than most, but he wasn't rash and made sure everything was in order. He reinforced his family's home, which needed expansion after his mother and father had more children. Sadly, none were golden eyes, but they still loved them just the same, and in fact, Heliosad felt quite favourable to them and wanted to make sure they had a good upbringing.

In fact, his parents' home could be the first rudimentary house with an uneven and rocky floor with moss and hay put down. To flatten it and fill in between them while also having the outer wall be stones. Stacked upon each other with then sticks and rope tying it all together and the old tent being used for the roof.

It looks like it would collapse from a strong gust of wind, but it was still something new, and with some tweaks and improvement, it wouldn't be long until a basic hut was made.

So Heliosad shook his parents' hands, hugged his younger brothers and sister, and moved over to his group of 10. Or as he liked to think of them as the golden rixis who would pave the way for future generations.

His group was sent off by the elders and leader of the tribe along with all the children and parents saying their goodbyes. This wasn't a town with thosuands of people they all knew each other and saw one another every day and night. This move was a very shocking one. Many peoples kids were leaving at an age most were still training and learning.

Heliosad looked at the tribe one last time, and then him and his group were off and would probably not come back for many years to come. His journey would give him the ability to grow and find new materials and allies who are up to his standards.

They were all 6 or 7, which for humans was insane but that's still modern humans, not tribal humans who were built differently. And that's compared to a rixis who were born hunters and fighters while this group was the best of the tribe. Along with the golden eye, who was the peak of what was currently possible.

So their chances were much higher and they already had a destination charted which was to the sea side where Heliosad heard from wondering travlers and families that many unique creatures and materials were.

While the gold star made his way through the rixis lands, Jack and the gods watched on from Jack's space.

"Now listen, I don't want us to shower his team in blessings and constantly help them, okay? Prod and poke every now and then, but let them walk by themselves"-Jack

"Indeed Jack, I'll give the girl a boost every know and then while Caer will give the boy inspiration every know and then"-Minerva

"That's fine, and Nyx,Van, and Ven give them 2 or 3 more blessings and then leave them to their own devises"-Jack

"Understood"-Nyx

"Got it"-Ven and Van
