A new quest

It had now been 9 months since the wave and life soldiered on as new and old tribes arose and fell in the mad competition to become the strongest.

Currently, a fairly new tribe had made their home in the winter forest biome and had aptly named themselves the Frost Walkers clan.

The members of this clan-dominated tribe came from all over the lands each wanting to explore or live in a new environment.

Since this was a different environment with unique flora and fauna as well as weather conditions they had to change the clothes they wore to survive.

It was a crumpled mess of patches of skin from creatures and plants among other materials they found and used to isolate their clothes to keep them warm and to protect them against the cold.

The Jackrixis was okay in most but were like everyone else when it came to extremes but with the help of things like clothes, this problem was mitigated slightly.

Jack hoped that the extreme conditions of the different biomes would push the different tribes to focus on specific things which would help in trade.

For example how the jungle tribes could export materials or creatures from the jungle while the desert tribes could export rare raw materials.

This was obviously in the future but hopefully, this would help when going through the technology tree and boost the race's chance of winning the game.

Back to the Frost Walkers who had set up a small camp they called home and had started to settle in more into the area.

The one thing they did notice was the winter forest biome was quite large and much deeper in was a huge blizzard that was constantly raging.

It didn't move and stayed in the same place but they didn't want to go near it since it look extremely dangerous. Also, there were strangely typed creatures wandering around the blizzard trying and failing to get in.

So they decide to stay within their area and leave the dangerous blizzard to do its own thing of throwing ice and snow around.

The blizzard would have been left alone for quite a while if it wasn't for the system coming in and giving jack a quick message.

Jack was currently laying down letting himself have a small break and was thinking about his home and if anyone thought he was dead yet.

"Fine I guess I've gotta get off my ass and do some godly work"-Jack

Jack left his space and teleported to Minerva's space which was a sprawling crystal library with floating books and scrolls.

Some of the words on the open pages seemed to be alive and sentient while others seemed as if they were written by madmen.

The floor was cracked glass that had scientific equations embedded into the glass and glowed a bright golden glow.

The sky was a mix of purple and green as what looked like different forms of codes and signals raced throughout the sky as blurs to the human eye.

If a mortal was ever lucky or unlucky enough to enter this space they would be both breath taken and terrified at the amount of knowledge present.

It was also ginormous and could take a mortal their entire life to explore even 1/5th of the lands of Minerva Goddes of knowledge.

But since jack was her boss he got the shortcut and it only took him 10 minutes to find her while passing the endless shelves and floating scriptures.

Things for jack were quite tame which made sense but if it was a mortal or even another god it would be much more chaotic and hostile.

Once jack walked out of the narrow path he took that open up to a large circular space with multiple paths leading to it from different sides.

The circular space had piles of books and other forms of written texts like stone tablets and even leaves all over the place in random piles.

In the middle of the room was Minerva whose black hair swayed softly while her golden eyes scanned her special collection of knowledge that she kept behind her desk and chair.

The desk and chair surprisingly were quite normal made of white wood that looked like some had bleached a birch tree.

"Hello Jack always a pleasure to have you how can I help?"-Minvera

She continued to look through her collection as jack walked up closer to her desk which a fractal chair appear in front of it for jack to sit upon.

"Well something new has popped up and I will need your help and maybe one of the others too"-Jack

"Oh do tell"-Minerva

"I'm guessing you've already figured it out considering you have all the knowledge the rixis have and what I have too"-Jack

"It's only a guess jack beside it's better hearing it comes from you so what is it?"-Minerva

"I got a quest issued to me after a rixis stumbled upon a blizzard in the winter forest biome and now I have to get them past it to get the reward"-Jack

"Interesting is there anything else?"-Minerva

"Clever clogs and yes there is"-Jack

"Of course, I am so what is it?"-Minerva

"We have 3 months to do it"-Jack

"Well I wish we had more but it's better than nothing so I guess we should make a plan and then get to trying to beat this blizzard"-Minerva

"Do you have any ideas jack?"-Minerva

"Isn't that kinda your thing? "-Jack

"Yes but that doesn't mean you can't have good ideas besides it would be boring if only I was talking so what have you got? "-Minerva

"So many questions anyway simple idea was to just get them to see how far they can go first and then maybe use the materials they have to help them out"-Jack

"Okay let's try that then"-Minerva

"Wait right now that wasn't even a good plan!" -Jack

"Trail and error jack come on let's do this"-Minerva

"I'll be praying this works"-Jack
