Now Jack was by himself and was thinking about what he had to do and deal with these problems. He was surprised how well things were going for him, and a big part of that was the help from Nancy and the gods.

"Looks like the risks I took worked out I haven't been overthrown by my gods or backstabbers by Nancy"-Jack

"I know I'm surprised too even if I did the calculations to see the possibilities"-Minerva

Jack was standing up, so when he turned around a looked up he saw the goddes of knowledge look at him.

"You can't even knock ya know hello I'm here sort of deal"-Jack

"One of the few things I enjoy is scaring you by appearing in front or behind you"-Minerva

"I'd report you to the principal or headmaster if there was one"-Jack

"Jack, you do realise my mind is more powerful than the most powerful human supercomputers"-Minerva

This seemed to worry Minerva, which considering she was on the Themis side of the emotion spectrum was something different.

She decided to lower herself until she was on his level and held his hand while making sure he had some personal space.

"Jack even for me I struggle to understand why my creator feels such fear when myself and everyone else. Knows how well you've been doing. We don't think you're perfect but I think unconsciously you try to be"-Minerva

"How else can I survive this game if every move I make isn't great if it isn't perfect all it takes is one slip up. I'm gone and Nancy's gone she doesn't see her kids anymore and that's on me and the thousands of Rixis and Blues will be killed"-Jack

"I'm just a regular guy who now needs to try and keep all these people alive. I'm just some dumbass fumbling along, Barely holding on to it all"-Jack

Minerva could see Jack's clenched fists and he was trying to stop himself from letting the tears out.

"I can't be a bitch, I'm the one in charge I need to take responsibility and try to keep the death and chaos as low as possible"-Jack

"All of this is on me and all I can do is off load the pressure to people who didn't ask for it I'm just so fucked"-Jack

Minerva manged to see Jack slowly rocking back and forth and she could see he didn't realise he was doing it. Her mind thought of a thousand ideas on how to help in a second, but even she knew there was only one option.

Jack didn't even realise he was being hugged since his eyes were shut, but when he felt arms on his back, he opened them to see Minerva's head on his shoulder. Jack was shocked and, for once, was speechless about being hugged by anyone, let alone Minerva.

"I am honoured every day to work with you and the others to try and make something beautiful in a horrible situation. I've never been worried about the future, not because of the knowledge I have but because of the people around me"-Minerva

"I will always be greatfull for the time I've had and to the person who brought me to life who I know. No matter what, he will do his best to protect those good people he surrounds himself with against any enemy"-Minerva

"I don't need a perfect creator. I just need a good and kind one who will trust and care for those who follow him. We dont need a man made of stone, and you are not weak for feeling what you feel, but we can't talk to a statue"-Minerva

Jack felt his emotions burn his chest as his mind didn't know what to do, and he felt like a wall he couldn't climb over was in front of him.

"Sometimes it's easier to let go and try to understand what happens when you do as you'll know the results, and it will reveal how malevolent the fear is"-Minerva

Jack felt like he was on a cliff, His vision blurred as he started to cry. All these built-up emotions burst out, and the different flavours of fear from rejection,failure,control, and emasculation. All these were swirling in his mind and these things whispered to him saying that he'd be rejected by those who love him.

Nothing was said as Jack let go and the wave took over him he cried for a while and these things were messy so there was some nose glue too, but what can you do letting go means having no control and eventually he passed out.

"Good job Jack"-Minerva

She then picked him up and took him to Renkas realm and put him down on the soft floor and put a blanket on him.

"I know he's not, but is he okay?"-Renka

"You know more about his situation and his emotions than any of us, Renka"-Minerva

"His situation is complicated, and I felt it was wrong to Interfere, and if anything went wrong, he would never trust me again"-Renka

"He was right to have a god of emotion. it's so powerful"-Nyx

"Jack's my boy. I know he's going through it, so I wanna be here for him"-Nyx

All the gods were now here looking at Jack sleeping and they were happy he let himself cry and experience what he was feeling.

"He looks so different when he's asleep"-Caer

"Much more quiet and adorable"-Themis

"Yeah..is it weird though that 5 gods are all just watching their creator sleep?"-Nyx

"A little bit"-Themis

"I think it's nice"-Minerva

This caused the others to be surprised and look at her.
