The Epilogue Part II:

Two Hundred Thousand Years Later

A team of Icelandic workers were drilling ice in the mountains. They uncovered a stone temple. A man dressed in a white adidas puffer wearing silver cuban link chains called their boss to report their progress.

“We found the ruins.” The man said, in a thick slavic accent. “Work is done. Where is my million?” The man asked.

The man was then shot in the back of the head by a silenced pistol. The workers panicked as the assailant started shooting them all in the head. The assassin was dressed like a construction worker. His face was covered by snow-goggles and a black bandana

The assassin walked inside the dark ruins and looked around with his flashlight. It looked like a magical, sacred place. The man walked for a while and then found a room with a grey haired man in it.

The grey-haired man was staring at a wall standing in complete darkness. He looked thin, his bones were clearly visible under his flesh. The old man turned around and opened his jaw. The assassin saw black rot and blood in the old man’s teeth.

He shot him in the head.

The old man walked closer.

The shooter got scared and walked backwards. He emptied his clip into the old man’s face and the dead man fell backwards. The old man’s face was destroyed and gushing with blood. The assassin leaned in to get a better look. Red worms started crawling from the face of the dead ice mage onto the floor towards the Assassin.

The assassin was horrified. The worms kept inching closer.
