The system message hung in the air as Robert tried to gather his thoughts.
The space stone that he carried him here was nowhere to be seen. What was supposed to be a thriving town was now a lush, lifeless jungle.
The very air felt peculiar.
He couldn’t feel a single Lifeform no matter how far he scanned.

Robert’s confusion turned into anger as he felt the same annoying strange force enter his mind again, telling him to leave. No one told him what to do. He was grandmaster Robert, the Devine seer. Robert’s pride demanded respect.
His anger now reached its peak, Robert unleashed his aura, expecting the environment and reality to buckle under its weight. However, no such thing happened.
The pebbles and soil floated momentarily, then fell back to the ground. What was this trickery? His face flushed red from anger as he focused all his anger and humiliation into his aura.
Chunks of dirt ripped themselves out of the ground.
The breeze picked up as he floated off the ground like a divine being ascending to the heavens.
“Show yourselves! How dare you humiliate me like this?”

Robert felt a ripple in the fabric of space before he crumpled to the ground. He felt his awareness fading.
Time seemed to slow to a crawl as he felt something he hadn’t felt in three hundred years.
A feeling he had long since forgotten, thinking he’d never feel it again, so drunk off his taste power he thought himself to be untouchable. He, a god walking among men, unparalleled in everything, the genius born once in a million years. Heaven touched, Died feeling a long forgotten emotion:

High priest Ardor watched the chaotic mana flow with a worried expression on his face. In the past three days, it only got worse.
He prayed to his god Miagi, god of magic and mana, but got no response.
The mana was so chaotic and wild now that it could only mean one thing: the end was near or something that would cause the end to be near.
Ardor’s blood ran cold. His beads of sweat formed at the back of his neck as his expression darkened.
“Is something wrong Ardor?” King Farrimond asked, “Yes, your Majesty, the mana flow has become more chaotic in the last few days. I’m afraid troublesome times are ahead.” He said. King Farrimond frowned.
He sat on his throne pondering until he felt a familiar energy wrap around his space stone and pulled on it.
Farrimond pushed in his energy to aid in the teleportation. The summoning circle lit up and shone with arcane blue and hits of red.
Live wisps of mana burned in the air, heating the room up. Several minutes later, there was a flash of light and billions of people filled the room. Clad in plated mana steel armor.
Ardor snapped his fingers. The room expanded to accommodate the newly arrived people, with billions of people chatting. Nobody could hear the king.
He took a deep breath, infused his voice with the minor concept of voice amplification, and spoke.
“Silence”
His power-infused voice traveled through their very soul, shutting everyone up.
“Who is responsible for this? Come forth now.”
Victor appeared at the foot of the king in a kneeling position
After explaining everything to king Farrimond, Victor left to go look for his master. Farrimond was in a dilemma. He was contemplating if he should use the continent splitter or not.
It wasn’t the first the strings of fate turned black.
He knew people of this world faced world-ending threats and survived.
He faced multiple otherworldly entities and came out on top.
Thanks to the help of the gods and other Demi-gods, but wasn’t too sure about this. It all depended on luck and preparation.
For Robert himself to leave right after leaving the message, it had to be so dangerous that it could threaten the gods themselves.
His old friend Robert had gone to deal with it himself, whatever “it” was and he didn’t come back, that was very alarming. Farrimond knew Robert wasn’t a powerful individual, but he was apt at escaping tricky situations.
He was also very skilled in soul arts, so he was technically Immortal as long as “it” did not consume his soul, which was by all known means impossible. The soul did not belong to mortals or gods. There was no way to destroy it permanently, only crack it, drain it, trap it, etc.
Nobody knew its exact origins as souls existed before reality and existence itself. Farrimond sighed. It was no use worrying over things he had no control over. He had work to do and a speech to make.
With a wave of his hand, he was floating over his kingdom. He infused power into his voice as he spoke.
“People of mana kingdom, as you may or may not have noticed, the mana that runs our kingdom has become very chaotic and unstable lately. As your king, it is my duty to protect you, my citizens, from any danger that is to befall us. A great evil is coming and I’m not sure if I can defeat it myself, which is why I will use the continent splitter for the first time in hundreds of years to spilt the primary continent and trap the great evil on the other side until we grow strong enough to fight back.”
With that done, Farrimond waved his hand and appeared deep within the heart of the mana kingdom where the mana reactor was located.
“Code black activate continent splitter. "
A pedal materialized, Farrimond cut his hand and pushed down on it.
A cold emotionless voice spoke in his mind.
