I decide to leave this area of the caverns. There aren’t many kinds of monsters for me to kill here, and Predator’s Bane makes me even more dominant. Feeling a little nostalgic, I turn ahead, and walk forward in the large and seemingly endless great cavern. Yes, I am calling the large open area of the cavern the “great cavern.” Sue me!

After quite some time, I begin to notice that the ceiling of the cavern was slowly coming into view, and the walls were only a little closer. I’ve come across more and more side tunnels lately, and most critters that saw me ran away like frightened cubs. The few that were stupid enough to pick a fight with me were no match at all.
“Hahahaha, even rank D monsters can’t even match me! I am invincible!” I said, pretending there were no close shaves with the more physically oriented rank D monsters.
After the most recent fight, I decided to check my level and see what my next evolution would be!

All the nearby critters ran away. Suddenly, I heard a number of distant footsteps approaching me.
“Oho, what kind of creature dares approach me?” I walk in the open with utmost confidence.
Given how strange the sounds those creatures are making, they are likely something I haven’t encountered yet. Using stealth and ambush against them would make things too easy, I just hope they don’t die too quickly.
“What could possibly go wrong?” feeling smug on my high abyssal steed, I patiently wait. Soon enough, they arrive, and my eyes twinkle with excitement and curiosity.

Why are 5 creatures with different species and ranks working together? Immediately afterwards, they start making noises at each other, with only the wind mage looking at me with disinterest.

I tilt my head in confusion, and the system gives me a prompt.

“What is a language?” I think to myself, tilting my head in confusion.
A progress bar showed up in the prompt, and it seemed to be filling up incredibly slowly. The wind mage’s eyes widen with some surprise, then with interest.

The wind mage said something, and all the others widened their eyes with surprise.
In a few moments, the beast tamer then decided to speak as well.

My mind was being oppressed by a domineering voice commanding me to obey, yet kindly asking me to stand by the beast tamer’s side. If only my resistance stopped, the agony would cease...
A deep rage burned within me. Deeper than when I watched the Black Hunter Spider kill my brother and siblings, deeper than when the Acid Spitter Frog ambushed me. These creatures dared to invade my mind, and they will pay dearly for it!
