I looked over my last two new class skills to see what they did.
[Destined Collision Lv. 1]
Apply a force of attraction between any two objects within sight for 1 second. Base strength of the attraction is equal to that of the strongest gravitational attraction applied on the user. Targets become intangible to all other forces and matter until they collide, or until spell duration ends.
[Almighty Push Lv. 1]
Push away all matter from your body by up to 1 meter. This force cannot be resisted.
I scratched my head a little at the new skills I got.
“I’ve seen a few ‘cannot be resisted’ spells and abilities before. What happens when two of them collide?”
I guess that’s another thing to go and ask mom about. I spent 38 of my skill points to push both of the skills up to level 20, making [Destined Collision] last 20 seconds and [Almighty Push] push for a distance of 20 meters. That left me with five class skill points to do as I pleased with.
Hmm? Five skill points…? How did I end up with 43 of them at class level 111?
“Is everything alright, Kiara?” Nico asked.
“I am fine, it’s just that I am a bit lost with how I arrived at my skill point numbers.”
“Talk me through it and I’ll help you out.”
As I put my head together with Nico, we started counting my skill points. I started with eight of them before the advancement. I had nineteen of them refunded, and eleven level ups should have given me another eleven points. That should have put me at 38 skill points. And yet, I had 43 once the advancement was concluded.
“Kiara, this is just my gut feeling and everything, and you’re free to not answer it, but is your new class beyond the mythical rarity? If it is, that might explain why you’re getting more than a single skill point per every couple of levels. An extra skill point every other level sounds about right to me if that’s the case.”
I put a hand to my chin in thought. I really wanted to just tell Nico about the Supreme rarity and everything, but I promised mom not to tell anyone about it for now.
“You’ve got an overactive imagination as always, Nico. I just completed a mission with my class advancement, and it gave me the extra skill points. I looked over my system notifications again and it turned out I missed it.”
If Nico had any suspicions at my explanation, she didn’t voice them. I should also probably leave the skill point advancements to when I discuss it with mom.
The last thing for me to check out was the ominous new missions I got.

I stared at the missions for a while. I wanted to ask Nico about the ‘SS’ rank for the missions, but I’d already left her suspicious of one of my secrets. There’s no need to let her know about the other, at least until I get mom’s permission.
“Time to check out what my new class can do!” I said as I let myself fall to the surface of the planet.
As I slowly descended, I began to feel the air around my body thicken, reducing the pressure on my scales. It also easily fended off the cold since it would take some decently powerful ice magic to get through them.
It seems that dragons are surprisingly well adapted to surviving the environment of outer space. I can’t be the first to get this high up – that’s another question for mom, I suppose.
As I thought about the implications of this thought, I finally began falling through the clouds and began approaching the mountaintop. It was here that I activated Force Lord on myself, pushing alongside the air against the force of gravity just enough to slow down my descent into a comfortably gentle landing.
“Force Lord seems to work just like my previous skills did, and it does it all in one skill too. It’s a shame I did lose out on the area of effect stuff, but this is a pretty solid upgrade.”
I walked up to a nearby rock and picked it up. I then looked to a boulder on a nearby peak before activating Force Lord at maximum strength between the two. The rock launched straight out of my hand with terrifying speed and slammed into the target with such force that the entire boulder shattered, launching a whole bunch of its pieces all over the place.
I whistled.
“Who needs ranged weapons and spells anyway? I could just pick up one of these bad boys and kill anything!” I said with a laugh.
“Sure, if you want to kill nearby bystanders with pebble shrapnel. You should have something like a javelin made from a tough metal instead.” Nico answered, burying that line of thought in the sand.
It was actually a pretty good point. But my class’s name was the crusher, and the earth was the only hammer I’d need.
I looked around for any nearby wildlife and found a tree all the way at the foot of the mountain with my draconic vision. I then activated Force lord on maximum strength on the tree and the earth, and my class showed itself worthy of its name.
Immediately after casting Force Lord, the tree snapped in half near its trunk and slammed into the ground, leaves and everything being crushed flat into a massive, sinking crater cracking the earth beneath it.
With a flick of my hand, I reversed the direction of the force. Immediately after, the tree launched itself into the sky, only to break apart into smithereens by the sheer power of the forces involved.
“Kiara, please don’t use that skill at maximum power anywhere near regular people. It’s strong enough to cause collateral damage even if you don’t intend on it.” Nico said.
“Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I can test out what’s safe in the Abyss, whenever we end up taking the Serpent’s Throat from the monsters.”
I then looked to my next two abilities but found that neither of them was a good idea to use. Mana Commandeering would probably require a mana-wielding creature near me, and Nico is out there handling the controls. The same goes for Ensnaring Domain Field, but with the added uncertainty of a dimension spell within another dimension spell, something I am not keen on testing out. Even disregarding the serious dangers to messing with dimension magic recklessly, I don’t want to end up breaking Nico’s private arena.
Still, I had other skills to test out.
I summoned an earth wall parallel to me manually with a spell mom had me memorize and activated Destined Collision on two pebbles on either side. As expected, they both flew towards each other until one of them phased through the wall before they collided.
“That’s an interesting ability. I wonder what happens if the collision happens inside of an object the targets are phasing through?” Nico wondered out loud.
I picked up two more pebbles and walked up to the wall’s edge, where I held up both pebbles against either side of the wall and activated the skill again.
Both rocks phased through my fingers and into the wall before my hand was pushed away by newly formed lumps expanding from the wall.
“Well, that answers that. That’s an easy way to imprison someone.” I said.
“Or bury them in something else and letting them choke to death.” Nico countered.
Maybe I could even do the reverse, to get a weapon inside of an enemy. Or even better, have one creature get stuck inside of another.
I shivered, putting aside the disturbing thought aside in favor of checking out another of my skills.
I activated [Almighty Push].
The earth beneath my feet sank by 20 meters, forming a massive crater of condensed, cracked earth. The wall near me crumbled as it was quickly pushed aside by an invisible force through the same distance.
The earth around the crater I’d pushed had nowhere to go, forcing the earth at the edges of the circles to explode upwards, making room for the sheer amount of dirt and rock I ended up moving.
I quickly steadied myself with Force Lord, descending to the bottom of the newly formed, 20-meter-deep crater as I thought about the numerous ways of using this deceptively simple, yet powerful spell.
