Tec Mage Chapter Forty Three: First Creation, Adam

Tec Mage Chapter Forty Three: First Creation, Adam

Sweat dripped from Mary's brow as she concentrated on her bending and melding of the elemental mana. Nina controlled the elemental mana, so it wouldn't disappear in to vapour. On their own each Elemental Blacksmith could only make a elemental weapon using a single element but together they were able to meld two elements as one.

Finishing the second water and air mana weapon ring, Mary placed it on her finger. Even though her infinity with fire was the best, the ring was powered by mana only and so it didn't matter.

Pouring mana into her ring transformed into a two handed war hammer. Depending on how much mana was poured into the ring would either decrease or increase the size of the mana weapon. The mana weapon was well suited for Mary, being made from Water the weight was substantial, which would increase attack power. A lot of Mary's stats were invested into strength but the ring was like a hidden weapon. Able to manifest within a second, this would be a great secret tool. This wasn't all, as Mary was a blacksmith she was awarded a permanent increase in damage with hammers. Added to her masteries with hammers and blunt weapons a single hit with her weapons would cause any unlucky receiver to be squashed like a bug.

Gripping the water and air war hammer between both hands, Mary swang with all her might. The swing was full and fast. Water was a heavy substance to wield as a weapon but the air in the weapon helped the attack speed. As the war hammer reached it's pinnacle ark a new effect took place, Water droplets powered by air flew out of the hammer's head like needles.

With a thud the wooden box storing coal was pierced by the droplets. After the needles pierced the box, they instantly turned back to water and dripped out of the box into a water puddle.

Stunned, both Mary and Nina looked at the new holes made from the water and air war hammer's needles. Looking down at her own hand, Nina manifested her own water and air mana ring. Unlike Mary's mana weapon, Nina's was in the shape of a katana. With a quick swing Nina's mana weapon had the same effect but as it was a mana weapon in the shape of one of the most fastest weapons, the speed was even faster and the needles that flew out was twice the amount.

Any normal person would be delighted with the weapon, but Nina had a frown plastered on her face. Nina should of been delighted, for years she couldn't advance elemental blacksmithing. This was because of two reasons. One, she didn't have access to elemental mana until she meet with Mary and her party. The second was each elemental weapon had problems. Fire would burn who ever used it, Water was free flowing and would turn into a puddle as soon as the weapon was manifested, Air was the same as water as it would disperse. Only earth could be used as a weapon but the weight didn't make it easy to wield. Unknown to Nina, by combining air to water they held their form like a cloud. This was a great let down for her. For many years she was sure that the mana weapons couldn't be as useful as real weapons. Nina had lost her motivation in creating anything to do with mana weapons. She didn't have the resources or any use for the weapon. Nina had drank her self in to poverty and only practiced elemental blacksmithing with the small amount of elemental mana she had. Looking back on her history she realised she had wasted so much time.

Breaking out of her thought's, Nina cut the supply of mana to her ring and removed it.

Nina's character was a contradiction, if something was vexing her and she couldn't do anything about it she would either fall into to a drunken stupor and be stumped, or she would totally ignore it.

At this point in time she chose to ignore it. Placing the water and air mana ring in it's box, she placed it next to the magma ring.

"Let's make one for me" explained Nina.

"What about your Cloud Over Sapphire Water ring" asked Mary. Cloud Over Sapphire Water ring was the name Nina had given to her water and air mana weapon ring.

Nina just waved her hand "give it to Atlas, a katana is more his style than mine. I want a smithing hammer"

Mary rolled her eyes. Nina seemed to be like a child sometimes. When she saw something she liked she would want it and if some one else had one she would want it even more.

Putting both their heads down they melded and formed a smithing hammer from the air and water mana.

It took a substantial smaller amount of time to form the new mana weapon ring. Nina placed the ring on her finger

"I call this ring.." before Nina had a chance to name her ring Mary interrupted her

"Cloud ring" said Mary.

Mary couldn't see the point in naming the water and air Mana weapon ring something longer like Cloud Over Sapphire Water ring, when Cloud ring would do. After all the fire and earth mana weapon ring made for Atlas was called Magma ring.

A large transparent blacksmith hammer materialized in Nina's hand. Looking at Mary's face, Nina was conflicted. She liked the name. Simple and effective but she didn't come up with it.

Just as Nina was about to complain, Dracken came running in. In his arms was a heavy tome.

"Mary.." Dracken wasn't one for words. On his way here he had debated on what he was going to say. The tome he held had Mary's family secrets in it and the unanswered question on how Mary's family had died in their family home due to fire.

With no words to help him Dracken handed over the tome. Confused, Mary looked at the front cover.

Mary's surname was stamped in a strip of copper that was the heading of the tome.

Clearwater.

Mary was flipping though the pages of the tome. At first she had a confused look on her face but as she neared the end of the tome her face paled and the confused look was replaced by a look of shock and anger. Finally at the end of the tome tears dropped from her eyes.

"WHAA, what's wrong" asked Nina "what have you done" Nina angry pointed at Dracken.

"Shut up" replied Dracken, his curt tone was his answer. Unlike Atlas and Mary, Dracken didn't find Nina's way of speaking to be anything apart from annoying and so he was incredibly blunt with her.

Nina's face drained of colour which was quickly replace was red anger. Not many spoke to her like that, let alone a child of sixteen.

"Mary, what do you want to do" asked Dracken.

Mary had been orphaned from the age of eight but until then she had lived a happy life with her parents. Mary held the awe in her father as any little child would, but that was all cut from her when she had lost her family in the fire that claimed everything she held dear.

It was said that Mary's father had left his forge on and a stray ember had jumped and caught fire on the timber. No proof was found against this claim, in fact the investigator didn't even look in to it.

The tome answered everything. A single low lord had hired a assassin group to murder and burn the Clearwater family. It had turned out that by chance Mary's mother had been close to the low lord shady dealings. In truth Mary's mother didn't see or hear anything to do with the low lords dealing but just being near it at the time caused a chain of events that lead to the deaths of Mary's family. It hurt that her family died but now there was a sicking feeling in her stomach. Knowing that her family had been murdered for no reason at all cause untold grief.

With her head held low, Mary grasped the closed  Clearwater tome with both hands. Fat tears rolled down her cheek and then dropped from her face on to the tome.

Dracken grasped Mary's shoulder. He had already read the tome and knew what it said.

"Revenge" the knuckles on Mary's closed fist were as white as snow from the pressure of holding the tome.

"Listen Mary, you want revenge but this is against a low lord" Dracken rubbed his chin "Hell, that was eight years ago, a ruthless lord would use any means to increase their own power, they might be much higher in power now"

"What are you trying to say, are you saying to leave it alone and let my family die for no reason" Mary was surprised.

"No" Dracken wasn't one for letting something go, but in the last couple of months he had been tempered to make the right decision for the best out come.

"We need information, but we need to make sure that when searching for the info, that we in turn aren't being watched. After all if we can find the truth about a lord, then a dirty lord should be able to find any number of things about us" answered Dracken.

Mary nodded. she had to agree with Dracken. Back when she had just left the orphanage, she may of just charged in and attacked the lord. But now she was part owner to a growing multi-business empire. There was untold different ways that Mary could be hurt.

Nina on the other hand just stood there. The redness in her face had calmed down and the stupid look of confusion had replaced it. All she knew was Mary was angry with a lord and her family had died. knowing nothing about the Mary's past, she felt out of place and interfering just by standing there.

While the two apprentices talked, Nina left. Her instinct told her that this was going to be too much for her. Even though she worked with Mary, it didn't mean she was going to put her neck on line. In the mean time Nina wanted to play with her cloud ring and maybe have a couple of drinks.

After ten days, Dracken and Mary found lots of circumstantial evidence against the low lord. It fact it turned out he was no longer a low lord, but a lord that had it's own small private army. If Dracken put all his resources into finding the information it would only take a day but to make sure they didn't have any leaks or people watching them, Dracken did the research him self.

Mean while in a dark grand smoking room, sat a fat well dressed man. The girth of his belly spilled over the edge of the dark green sofa he was sitting on. With his giant fat hand he held a massive cigar, the size of the cigar was dwarfed by the excess fat in his hand, making it look like a cigarette. The other free hand was searching wildly in a pan of desserts. Grabbing a fist full, the man shovelled what he had grabbed in to his face. Chewing, the four extra chins wobbled as he slurped down the deserts.

"Thud, Thud"

The little piggy eyes of the fat man diverted to the door. Wiping his mouth with his sleeve, he called out

"Come"

The magnificent twin oak doors slowly opened to reveal a tiny man who wore massive spectacles. The glasses he wore made him look like a owl and that was the name the fat man called him. Even though it wasn't his true name the glasses wearing man didn't dare to contradict his lord.

"My lord" Owl bowed deeply almost touching the floor with his face.

The fat lord eyes briefly rested on the man called Owl and then back to the corner of the room he was looking at before. Grunting the fat lord waved his hand to instruct Owl to carry on.

"My lord, this is the combined rent for the east slums" Owl handed over the piece's of paper.

"The rent is being paid on time and...." before Owl had a chance to finish the fat lord interrupted him.

"Raise the rent another 20%" without looking at the piece of paper the fat lord had raised the rent.

"My lord, are you sure" Owl knew he had made a mistake as soon as he spoke. The lord's piggy little eyes rested on him again but this time they held on Owl. It was one thing to have a passing glance from the fat lord but another to have the lords complete attention on him.

Owl knew the fat lords cruel nature and it was like a living nightmare having the fat lords full attention on him. All he could think was what the fat lord was going to do to him.

Shaking slightly, Owl pipped up "My lord, the slum dwellers can't afford another increase in rent"

After a couple of seconds the fat lord looked away from Owl back to the dark corner.

"If the garbage in the slums can pay their rent completely, then they can afford a little more" the fat lord was squeezing every drop of cash he could from the slums.

Owl quickly wrote down the increase in rent. As he wrote he could hear small sniffles from the dark corner. Closing his eyes, Owl knew what it was, he just hoped it wasn't what he thought it was.

"My lord, there seems to be a small discrepancy in paper work. Some information has gone missing"

"Look into it" the fat lord waved Owl away.

"Yes lord" Owl turn to walk away but was stopped by the fat lord.

"Where is the army now" the fat lord was wobbling side to side trying to leave his chair.

"My lord, they are two days away from the city" answered Owl.

"Has the food and arrows been bought" slowly the fat lord stood up. Owl bowed his head to avoid the fact the lord had nothing covering his lower half.

"Yes lord, all provisions have been bought and stored" answered Owl.

"Good" the fat lord walk past Owl showing the world his massive pimpled butt.

"Now is the time to increase my standing within this kingdom. Soon the kingdom will know the name Lord Bolt Upright" the fat lord stood in the door way chuckling to him self.

Small sobbing was coming from the dark corner. Owls eyes had adjusted to the dark and now he could see what was making the sobbing sounds.

In the corner laid a small child with her clothes ripped and blood pouring out of her face. curled into a ball there was small knife cuts all over her body and clumps of hair had been pulled out

Lord Bolt was a nasty piece of work, that had the daughters of any slum dweller who couldn't pay their rent kidnapped. This was why Lord Bolt had increased the rent. With plenty of people unable to pay the increased rent, Lord Bolt would take what he wanted and played with them to his hearts content. This caused fear in the east side slums, and with fear meant rent was paid on time and in full.

"Get rid of her" the lord gestured at the weeping girl as he walked away.

As the fat lord walked, his excess fat moved like waves. He was very happy with him self, by chance he had gained knowledge of a future attack against the kingdom of Ledern and prepared for it.

"Nothing bought in power and money faster than war" thought Lord Bolt. This was a chance to increase his power at the cost of the kingdom Ledern. All he had to do was with hold the information and wait.

As Lord Bolt walked down the corridor, the guards stationed out side each door made sure not to bring any attention to them self. Their eyes reached the ceiling trying to avoid the pant-less Lord as his fat wobbled side to side. None of the guards wanted to gain the attention of Lord Bolt. They all knew what kind of person Lord Bolt was. The story's floating around made them all feel sick. Many of the guards wanted to leave the employment of the Lord but none of them wanted to be the next victim. Lord Bolt ruled with fear and madness.

Back at the Four Jacks Shop, on a table, was a stack of papers and notes. This was the combined information on the Lord that Dracken and Mary had discovered. Both of them had read the papers repeatedly.

Putting down her notes, Mary sighed to her self.

"This Lord Bolt, i can't find any good thing about him" Mary was rubbing the bridge of her nose.

"That's not the worst of it" replied Dracken "all the information we've found is all hear say. None of it can be used against this, Lord Bolt"

Mary slammed her hand down on the table. With her strength the table buckled then bounced back up.

"I can't believe we have nothing" Mary's hand curled into a fist.

Dracken had expected this. You didn't get to the point of a dirty Lord with out covering your back.

This was a basic thing for people who dealt in the darker side of humanity. Cover your ass.

Dracken pulled out a red ledger. This was the missing ledger that Owl had mentioned. It held the numerous names of property's and their raises in rent.

Dracken explained this to Mary. With the explanation Mary didn't feel any better. It wasn't against the law to increase rent.

"I understand" explained Dracken "But, stealing this book will push the right buttons and cause the Lord to do things that may lead to his future down fall"

"Are you sure, what happens when they found out that you stole the ledger" asked Mary.

"They wont find out, i personal stole the ledger and no one apart from you and me knows about it" answered Dracken.

There is a law of physics that says for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Dracken didn't know this law of physics but he knew how the Lord would react. After all it was how he would react and so had planed for it, for now he would stick to the shadows and just watch the little play he had started.

Mean while Atlas had spent just over a week in the floating islands core. It had been a very enjoyable time. Next to Atlas stood a pitch black golem. This was Atlas first golem he had created. All but one ingredient was easy to get. The ingredients to make this Golem was almost completely made from obsidian. The golem had a three parts to its creation.

The first part was the core. Made from obsidian and shaped by earth control magic, the core had many strange bumps on it circle surface. The core was then enchanted on the advance enchanting table found in the black root cottage. This enchanted table caused normal enchantments to be deeper and stronger implanted into items. A mix of Atlas blood and earth mana was poured into the groves of the enchanted table. Blood and mana swirled around the core as Atlas enchanted the core. Blood and mana seeped in to the core causing it to shake. When the core was finished the blood and mana had been absorbed, leaving only a circle plate of obsidian. The first stage was complete.

The second part was the sacrifice stage. Atlas had to give up a level and some knowledge stat points. Depending on how much knowledge Atlas sacrificed would decipher how smart the golem would be. With this in mind, Atlas gave up the maximum amount of knowledge. Knowledge was the program for the golems and the greater the number the more the golem could do without supervision.

"Ding"

1 level and 10 knowledge stat points have been scarified for the golem core

Please select a name

Atlas had thought about the name for some time, he even went online to check names. In the end Atlas decided to call this golem Adam. Adam's name came from the bible. Adam was the first man created and was made from the earth. Atlas thought it was very fitting that his first golem, which was made from the earth was called Adam.

The third and last part was the container, the body of the golem. It would be a suit or a puppet that the core would power. The body of the golem was made out of the only earth substance that was around, obsidian. The height of the obsidian golem was seven foot. Being tall, the golem also had to be broad and thick. The arms were long and thick like a gorillas. The feet and hands were the size of spades. The face was a little lacking. Atlas not being a sculptor had to form the obsidian the best way he could. A flat face with two holes as eyes, the bottom jaw over lapped the top and looked like a vice grip more than a mouth.

A white light burned in the holes of the obsidian golems eyes. The older a golem was, the deeper colour their eyes were. From white all the way to a deep red. The highest form was eyes that changed colour depending on the golem. That wasn't all, for the first hundred years, the golem was a tool strictly for it's creator. The golem even went as far as gaining experience for it's creator but after a hundred years it could learn skills and gain experience and levels for it's self.

So with the three components brought together, Atlas gave birth to his first golem. At first Adam followed Atlas everywhere he went and with each step Adam took the floor would rubble. The shovel like feet of Adam, with the massive weight caused Adam to make thudding noises where ever he went.

When Atlas studied his real life history books, Adam just patiently stood in the corner. The other golems that were natives to the cottage just avoided Adam. Unlike Adam, the other native golems were two to three feet tall. Adam would turn his head and watch the passing golems. With each head turn of Adam's head a loud scarping sound followed, as two plates of obsidian rubbed against each other.

Reading wasn't the only thing Atlas did. Cataloguing the store room of the black root cottage, Atlas found the complete building plans of the floating land of Heaven.

The plans were so simple that nothing had gone wrong with it in thousands of years. The lava lake that the cottage was one of many. In each of the lava lakes were pillars made from a substance called Levistone. When heated Levistone floated, and with lava all around the Levistone pillars the whole island floated supported by the pillars. The lava in the lake never dried up due to the God slime acting as a fusion reactor and the fuel source was the many green slimes. The excess lava drifted away and was cooled down by a enchanted vase that released an infinite stream of water. This caused the lava to cool down and produce more land that replaced any land the fell from the floating land, it also produced a thick layer of steam that hid the enter land. This was why when Atlas moved though the clouds that protected the floating land it was warm.

With out the Levistone and the god slime the floating land couldn't exist.

By learning how and why the floating lands existed Atlas received bonuses.

Uncovering the complete plans of Heaven

Knowledge +50

Discovering how Heaven worked was all fine but just learning from books and blueprints could be boring. Some time was spent fighting the God slime. At first it was hard fight. The god slime took no damage and instantly healed because of the heat of the lava. This would give any normal person nightmares but for Atlas it felt great. No more did he have to worry about hurting or killing, the god slime could easily take it. Atlas didn't want to kill and this was the only time he could fight with out hurting the creature he was fighting. Any physical strike used against the God slime would cause ripples to pass though the jelly like body. Magic on the other hand passed though the slime. Many times Atlas was absorbed in to the God Slime but each time he was absorbed, Adam would reach in side with it's long thick obsidian arms and pull Atlas out.

Even with no commands, Adam helped Atlas. With a greater amount of knowledge in the sacrificial stage in creating the circle core of the golem, Adam was able to make decisions for it's self. A golem with a low knowledge would just stand there and wait for orders, no matter if the owner was dying in front of it.

Atlas fought with the god slime many times. He felt that this was the way for him to fight. There was no chance that the god slime could be hurt from Atlas and if there was the god slime would be instantly healed by the heat and magma that surrounded them. Atlas also wasn't hurt by the intense heat the god slime emitted, in fact he too was healed by the attacks of the god slime.

With each encounter, Atlas would find a more efficient way of attacking and defending against the god slime. The first couple of fights didn't go well. The slime once again surrounded Atlas with the jelly like tentacles and absorbed him. Yet again Adam pulled Atlas out. After the sixth fight Atlas found that the only spell in his arsenal that would work was one that he had almost forgotten about.

Precise Magic Missile intermediate level 1

Usually a week magic attack but with compression and rotation the power has more than doubled, accuracy is no longer a problem

Precise magic missile was a magic Atlas hadn't used for some time. Any skill that wasn't used in a while would degrade and level down. Atlas's Magic Missile would of lost a level if it wasn't for the fact that it was already at the lowest level in intermediate.

Each new battle with the god slime taught Atlas something new in control. The magic missile had been modified to have a piercing effect to it but with that in mind it would fly straight though the jelly like body of the god slime and do nothing to it. More and more shots were fired and even though all of them hit the god slime it ultimately did nothing.

Firing so many magic missiles had a strange effect on the slime. Sometimes the shape would distort. Atlas notice that if he brought the power down in each shot and hit the outer areas of the god slime, he was able to control where the god slime was going.

Atlas called this "Control With Tiny Strikes", or "Tiny strikes" for short . It wasn't a skill but more of a tactic. When ever the god slime got too near to Atlas and tried to swallow him up again, Atlas would use his fire mana katana to lead the tentacles away and then tangle them up with his free flowing fire cape. If the god slime got too close to Atlas, he would use magic missile to push some of the jelly mass around and make a safe path for him self.

With so many shots being fired at a living creature, the magic missile grew faster than any of Atlas skills had before.

In his mind, Atlas made a list of gaining experience for his skills

From lowest to highest in skill progression

1st. Using a skill with out purpose, like using a spell with out a target. This gave very little experience.

2nd. Using a skill against a target. This gave different types of experience to the skill depending on the level of the enemy. Low level monsters would give low amount of experience. High level monsters would give high amount of experience but also higher chance of death.

3rd. Creation with out purpose. Making a item just to raise the experience of the skill would raise the experience by a moderate amount.

4th. Creation with purpose. Making something that was needed and could be used.

Using magic missile at the god slime, that must be higher than level 700 caused the skill to raise incredibly fast.

It started off with a couple of hundred magic missiles before it raised a level. But as Atlas learned the tactic Tiny strikes the skill raised to new heights. Hitting the god slime in the right areas for maximum tactical gains caused the skill to raise again.

With each new level the magic missile reached, the magic missile became faster and stronger. Adding on other skills that Atlas had learned, that increased power and speed of magic attacks and the four mana supply's that Atlas held with in himself, he was able to fire the magic missile like a automatic weapon. Before even the first missile could hit the god slime another three had been casted. This was the beauty of low level magic.

Bigger missiles hit the god slime as the skill raised in level. Each one caused more ripples to the god slime making it even easier to control. Thankfully, the god slime didn't feel pressured. Atlas was sure that if it was serious then he would be dead within a second.

So that was how the days passed, reading his books, picking up samples here and there and fighting with the god slime. Even Adam had a go. Atlas made a pair of obsidian tower shields for the golem to carry. First it went well as Adam walked towards the god slime with his shields raised and his body posed to take the brunt of the weight, that was until Adam was rolled over by the god slime. Unlike Atlas, Adam wasn't floating in the god slime but stood there with it's massive weight.

Muffled sounds of Adam's obsidian body parts rubbing against each other came from inside the god slime. Unlike Atlas, Adam wasn't stuck in the god slime, with Adam's huge weight he was able to walk in the god slime.

Adam was golem made from obsidian, this meant that it had incredible heat resistance. Standing in the centre of the god slime, Adam carried on pushing until he popped out the other side. Adam was vibrating with heat. With Atlas noticing that even though Adam had great heat resistance he wasn't untouchable. After learning this Atlas equipped Adam with his very own set of rings that increased heat resistance.

While Atlas was doing all this, Forge and Princess had made up. It only took two days for Princess to forgive Forge for leading her into such danger. Princess was still just a child and had forgiven and forgotten just like a child would.

Life in heavens core was fun, Atlas didn't have to worry about harming the god slime and the newly added golem was protecting Atlas very well. Adam was even used as a porter. Travel between the fiery lava lake and the climate control base that Atlas made was easy. When ever Atlas encountered a giant lizard, Adam would push it easily away with it's giant tower shields. Any giant lizard that got by Adam was meet with Atlas in his magma armour form, as Adam wasn't that fast. Atlas still had to defend him self and so some of the lizard men were killed. Not having any packs Atlas made a huge Obsidian backpack for Adam. The bag was more like a create and could fit the entire dead body of the giant lizards. The giant scimitar swords that the giant lizards dropped were hanging from Adams waste. After yet another giant lizard man was killed, a dropped item fell from it as Atlas was stuffing the corpse into Adam's back pack.

A ring fell from the corpse, hitting the floor with a ting, Atlas attention was drawn to it.

Atlas had been the first person to visit these dungeons and so he should of got the best loot from the first kill but the first giant lizard he had killed was quickly picked up and stuffed into his bag. Realising he should have a second ring Atlas went back to his bags that were kept in his climate controlled base. Princess and Forge were out killing the giant lizards to level up. Both of them weren't strong enough to kill a giant lizard but with the help of the lava lake Forge would drag a giant lizard into the lava and gain experience that way. Princess would hide just out side the lava lake, away from the heat. Acting like a sponge Princess levelled up, She was now higher level than Atlas and increasing higher still. Last time Atlas checked her level it was past 100, with no signs in slowing down. With the increase in level Princess size also rose. Before, Princess was the size was a of soccer ball, but now it was the size of Atlas torso. It would of been even larger but Princess still needed to shed her skin to grow bigger and even though she now shed twice a day she couldn't keep up with her levelling speed. Back in the the climate controlled base Atlas ordered the mana mouses that lived in his bags to search for rings. Within seconds they pulled out a necklace made from rings, these were the rings Atlas made and enchanted. With so much heat around and the trouble he had with his pets not being able to adapt, Atlas made a number of rings. There was fire and ice resistance rings, also stat boasted rings. These were all held together by a single loop of mithril wire.

Searching thought the rings, like a key chain Atlas came across what he was looking for. A ring that was made from mithril. Checking it against the one that had just dropped, Atlas found it to be an exact match. It turn out that when Atlas was dissecting the corpse of the first giant lizard the ring had fell in to the bag and the mana mouses had put it on the chain that kept all the rings on.

Holding the two rings, Atlas identified them.

Cotton Ring

a rare ring that doubles maximum life

Atlas eyes widened, this was a high class item and Atlas had found two. Atlas realised that not only would these two rings double his life but increase it by 3x the normal amount.

Atlas health was quite large for a mage and he could increase his pool if he increased his fishing and mining skill. Rolling the rings in the palm, Atlas eye's wandered around resting on Princess webbing.

If Atlas health would increase by 3x, then Princess or Forge health would be the same and with their special health quality being naturally high, the increase to health would be outstanding.

Just as Atlas was pondering this, he got a message from Loki.

Messages could be received but no whispers could be sent while one of the party was in a dungeon.

"Atlas, there's trouble" reading this Atlas felt sick. he had been away from the Lerdern kingdom for over two weeks, more than enough time for something to happen. Atlas carried on reading.

"War is here" Atlas face dropped.

"War, huh? yea!, what was it good for.  Absolutely nothing" thought Atlas.

End Of Chapter Forty Three

----------------------------------------

Couldn't resit the ending. Well one more chapter until the arch of heavens core is finished and the war arch starts. I'm looking forwards to writing the war arch.

Enjoy the story and War, huh? yea!, what was it good for.  Absolutely nothing..... except advances in technology, medicines and other things that make a peaceful country.
