"Alright, what happn'd?" Demoman asked.
"Ask zhem," Medic growled, his sight unwavering.
"Care to explain yourselves?" Spy asked, prompting you two to speak as he crossed his arms and leaned back.
"We were in the tower and I happened to see Medic by the storage, training building by the track...," you started. "And I took out the sniper rif-"
"Strat, stop. Let me explain it was moi fault," Sniper cut in and you slowly nodded. "I got this terrible idea to have Strategist to use Medic as a target." Some of your teammates looked appalled. "Since it was her foirst time, Oi thought she wouldn't get 'im, but she did. Needless to say, we were both confused, but ran for our lives. Medic found us, well, me, hiding in a storage crate and he threatened to skin me alive if Oi didn't help him find Strategist, who was hiding in another box on the other side of the room."
"I used the noise to get out of the crate and move to the door, but Medic saw me," you started explaining your point of view. "Sniper yelled at me to run and I did. Thanks to my short stride though, he caught up and grabbed the back of my vest. With pure instinct, I ducked, rolled, and took Medic to the ground. I held him down with the future help of Sniper sitting on his legs and tried to calm him down." You sighed before continuing. "Then, I finally realized how stupid this all was, how stupid we were being. So, I rolled off and apologized. It was nearly enough, but Sniper and I left him alone for the rest of the time I had with Sniper to train. We got back to the tower and Sniper went through the survival guide for snipers type thing and we came back."
"Ah'm disappointed in you two. What made ya think that was ever a remotely a good idea?" Engie asked, with mild shock in his voice.
"Oi have no idea," Sniper answered. "It was moi idea anyway, what we did was rubbish."
"Um, yeah. Like I'd expect maybe from Snipah, but you Strategist? Even I know that's a bad idea," Scout chimed in.
"Strategist didn't even want to do it, Oi pressured her to, Oi'm sorry," Sniper tried to cover for you.
"Even if you pressured me to, I still made the decision. It's just as much as my fault as it is yours, possibly more," you told Sniper. You looked up to face your disappointed teammates. Sniper still had his head down in shame, Engie looked the most disappointed, Scout looked concerned, Soldier was completely silent, and Spy was slowly shaking his head. Pyro sounded confused, Demo was also shaking his head, Heavy had a concerned look, and Medic was still staring you down in silence.
"Well, even though you two seemed to have learned your lesson, killing a teammate is still a serious issue. Ah believe it's laundry day, so you two get to go around collecting the clothes and cleaning them. You'd be usually doing this yourselves, so you also get help Medic with whatever he needs to get done," Engie concluded and the others nodded in agreement. You two agreed and left the table to start collect the clothes.
You grabbed laundry baskets for each other and decided that you'd each do each other's side of the hallway. Thankfully, your teammates put their dirty laundry in small baskets outside of their rooms to keep you from having to go into the rooms and search for the clothes. You didn't put your clothes into the basket, so you went into your room first and put all the clothes into the basket and continued down to Heavy's room. Picking up his clothes, you kept walking and got Demo's. Then at the last door on your side, you got Scout's. Sniper looked like he got Pyro's, Spy's, and seemed to be having trouble finding his in his room, so you took Medic's too. Walking back, Sniper came out of his room and got Engie's before joining you to the laundry room.
"Ya got Medic's?" Sniper asked while you set the basket on top of the dryer next to Sniper's.
"Yep. I think we should separate the whites and the reds into separate baskets for separate loads," you answered, grabbing the red t-shirts and black vests and putting them into Sniper's basket.
"That would be a good idea, don't want a pink lab coat." You snickered imagining Medic wearing pink. Sniper did also, putting the whites into your basket. You found a little case thing sitting next to the laundry detergent and put your bras into it.
"Why ya doing that Sheila?"
"Oh, right. We need to explain this to Soldier when he does the laundry. My bras need to go into a case so the clips won't be damaged while being washed." You turned a bit red, kinda wishing you were doing this on your own.
"Oh, Oi understand." You tossed the bag and the reds' basket into the washer and added detergent. Sniper showed you how to start the washer and you both walked out to wait for them to get cleaned.
"Let's head to the Medbay now." You said and you both headed down to see what Medic would let you do. When you both got down there, you knocked on the doors and stepped in. "Um, Medic? We're here for work while we wait for the laundry load to be washed." You both stepped forward a bit, looking around for him.
"Good, zhere you are," Medic said, from behind you. You whirled around to find Medic standing in front of the doors behind you, only a couple of feet away. What is with these people and no personal space?
"Y-yep! Did you have anything i-in mind?" You took a couple of steps back. Archimedes landed on your left shoulder and you stiffened.
"Archimedes! Vhat do I keep telling jou? Get off of her!" Medic said, walking to you and shooing him off your shoulder. Archimedes cooed and flew to perch on top of a pipe from the ceiling with other doves. "Right, now. See as jou to are cleaning today, I vant you to clean zhe Medbay." What? That's going to take a long time. You looked at all of the dried blood.
"Okay. I'll be right back." You jogged back to the laundry room and came back with brushes for stains in clothes, bleach, and gloves from the kitchen. This won't work very well or quickly, but it'll make cleaning easier.
"Good thinkin' Sheila!" Sniper told you gratefully.
"Hm, yes. Vhatever jou two need to use. I'll be back to check on jou later," Medic stated and walked out of the Medbay. Once the doors stopped swinging, you turned to Sniper and gave him a brush. You gestured behind you.

"Halfsies on the Medbay?" You asked.
"Alright," he said and put some bleach onto a stain on the wall and you did the same. After only about a minute, your arms already hurt you were barely putting a dent into the stain. Oh boy.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
You managed by some miracle to get through major stain and bird poop when you heard a faint beeping.
"Hey Sniper, do you hear that?" You asked him, stopping to hear it better. He stopped and listened.
"Oh yeah, it's the washer. We need to change the loads," he told you.
"Someone should go and take care of that."
"...Yep."
"I'll-"
"I got it!" He shouted, running out of Medbay full speed.
"Hey! Darn it...." You muttered to yourself and scrubbed harder on what looked like ancient bird crap. A bit of time passed and you managed to get rid of it. Then, you heard the Medbay doors open. You kept scrubbing a stain on the floor. "Sniper? Can you help me with the stain here?" You stood up to sit on your knees and turned around. Medic was looking closely at the wall you got the ancient bird crap off of.
"Hmm, jou did a good job. I can't even see it anymore. I don't remember how it got there in zhe first place," he praised your work.
"Thanks Medic." You turned to the other side of the stain so you could face him while continuing to clean. "I think Sniper's taking his sweet time changing the laundry. I might finish before he gets back." You laughed a bit, but let it die out when you didn't hear him laugh with you. You cleared your throat.
"Ja, he does zhat." You nodded and scrubbed harder.
"Again, I'm... I'm sorry about what happened while I was training with Sniper. I shouldn't have made the decision in the first place and then I shouldn't have thrown you to the ground."
"Zhat vas a dumb choice, but I vas impressed vith how jou vere able to hold me down vhen I vas zhat mad."
"Heh, thanks. I shouldn't even have made you mad in the first place." You sighed and the color on the stain started to disappear. This was the last one on your side until you started cleaning the tables and equipment.
"At least jou learned jour lesson."
"That's for sure." With a few last strokes, the stain was gone. You chuckled.
"Vhat's so funny?"
"I just finished my side of the Medbay, except for the tables and equipment of course, but Sniper is so behind." His side was only half-way done. You stood up and stretched your arms, legs, and back before starting to scrub the tables. Thankfully, they were easier to get stains off of. Medic nodded and Sniper walked in. "Well look who came back from the long-ass laundry change." You smirked as Sniper scratched the back of his neck nervously.
"Alright, ya got me. Oi was taking moi time. Oh... hey Medic."
"Hallo."
You finished the last of the tables and started with the equipment, giving things like the bonesaw and scalpels a quick scrub.
"So... when the clothes are finished drying, do you fold them, hang them up, or do you just call people to come and get their stuff?" You asked while you finished.
"We fold 'em and put them in the baskets by the doors," Sniper answered, scrubbing the wall. "This really tires your arms out."
"Think about mine feel, but I finished all the equipment, so lucky you."
"Lucky me," he said through gritted teeth and you chuckled.
"Does it match your standards, Medic?" You asked him. He inspected everything until giving you a silent nod. "Okay, well, I'll start folding the clothes. I'll be in the laundry room." With that, you placed your brush by the bleach container and peeled off your gloves as you walked out of the door.
You passed by the kitchen on the way to the laundry room, so you threw your gloves away and walked into the laundry room. You opened the dryer door and sighed with relief that they came out okay. You placed a shirt on the long table to the right of the dryer, the washer being the left of that, and the detergent and supplies on a shelf to the left of the washer. Folding it, you noticed it was Heavy's. You decided you can make piles for each of your teammates, including yours on this long table and did exactly that. You managed to fold everybody's clothes into their own separate piles. Except for the whites, everything was in their place. Then you noticed that Pyro's suit wasn't there. Oh, it's a flame resistant suit! You can't wash that with a regular washer... does Pyro ever take it off? He still changes underwear... I think, but that suit...
Before you spiraled into how dirty Pyro's suit could be, the washer went off for the whites. You emptied it into the dryer and put it onto the setting it was on before for the reds. Thankfully, nothing was pink. You walked out of the room and went into your room to use the bathroom. Walking out you decided to help Sniper if he needed it, since you have nothing you can do with your punishment in place until the dryer is finished. You grabbed a pair of gloves and walked back into the Medbay. Sniper just had his head against the wall staying silent and Meic was no where to be found.
"Hey Sniper, I came to help you out. Did you want me to?" You asked and received no answer. "Hey, I know it hurts your arms, but are you okay?" No answer yet again. You walked closer to Sniper and let out a small sigh. You reached to tap his shoulder, hoping Medic didn't do anything to him.
"AHHHHH!" Sniper yelled and reached for you while stumbling in your direction, chasing you.
"AHHH!" You ran backwards until you rushed forward. You slammed into his side, grabbed a scalpel, and put your foot on his throat as soon as he hit the floor. Sniper tried to laugh and Medic walked in looking confused. You looked back between the two, you realized it was a stupid trick. "What the hell man?" You shouted.
"Oh man, Medic was roight you have crazy reflexes!"
"That was cheap trick," you chuckled, putting the scalpel back, helping him up, and crossing your arms.
"But it worked," Sniper said, calming down.
"Yeah, yeah. You had me scared!"
"Aww Sheila cares!" You rolled your eyes.
"Do you want help scrubbing the blood off or not?"
"Actually yes Oi would like that very much."
"That's what I thought." You slipped on the gloves and grabbed your brush.
"Vhat happened?" Medic asked. "I heard somevone scream."
"You tell him Sniper," you said, turning your back and scrubbing the walls.
"I scared Strategist and it was priceless. You shouldn't have missed it," Sniper simply put, chuckling.
"Hmph. Just finish," Medic said while he watched you both.
"You got it, mate."
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
By the time you had finished, the dryer went off.
"Oh good," you said. "Medic, does this look clean enough for you?" He studied your work.
"Hmm, ja. It's good enough, now leave my Medbay," he said, stalking off to his room.
You and Sniper took the brushes to the kitchen, cleaned them, and then dried them off. You both disposed of your gloves and took the brushes and bleach to the laundry room. You put the stuff away while you told Sniper about your specific piles of clothing. He helped fold the laundry and you took piles at a time to your teammates' baskets. The last two were yours and you took them to your rooms. By this time you'd be late to dinner, but not by too much. You both thanked Spy for cooking and joined everyone at the table.
"So Medic, how did they do?" Engie asked.
"Zhey cleaned zhe entire Medbay," Medic said and Scout almost choked on his food. Sniper had to slap him on the back.
"Really?" Scout asked.
"Jes, Scout. Really."
"I wanna see that." The others nodded in agreement.
"I saw ya finished the laundry, so that about ends your punishment. Have ya learned your lesson?" Engie asked you two.
"Definitely," you answered.
"Oi can second that," Sniper added.
After dinner, Medic begrudgingly took everyone on a tour of the Medbay, which meant letting them stand inside the doors and look around. People patted you on the back and praised your, mostly yours, and Sniper's work. Then, Medic shooed you all out and your teammates either went into their rooms or chilled in the living room. Demo, Heavy, Spy, and Sniper went off to play poker at the kitchen table and you watched T.V. with Scout.
"So how did it feel tryin' ta get all the blood off?" He asked.
"It took a lot of scrubbing, but really I'm just tired and my arms hurt," you answered and you both laughed.
Slowly, everyone went to bed and you yourself went to sleep. Work can wait.
