Chapter 45
I am not the only person with the inventory, so maybe other people can loot the inventories of people the same way I am able to loot monsters. In any case, I will have to figure it out later. For now, I want to get some sleep at the inn.
I put everything I can back into my inventory and take a look at myself. I am filthy. After using some water magic to clean myself off, and using some fire magic to dry, I head back to the inn. I go to my room, and then it's lights out.
I assume it is the 40th day because I can't see the sun, and I decide to visit the blacksmith. I can't see any signs pointing to where the blacksmith would be located, but I can hear the distinct clanging of steel hitting steel. As I get closer, I start to see the light from the forge as the blacksmith works a piece of metal.
"You can place an order inside shop with my wife." The blacksmith says, banging on a piece of steel, and not looking up at me. I go to the building just a little further away and go inside.
Inside the building are many weapons covering the wall. From this, I can tell this is a weaponsmith.
"Hi," A grumpy woman is behind the counter. She doesn't look like she wants to be here. "Do you want to buy or sell?"
Geez, I can tell that she is only being forced to work here by her husband. However, for me, that is a good thing. If she doesn't want to be here, then I can probably get a good deal.
"I was looking to buy some steel or orchelium," I say to the woman, and she points a pile of metal bars on the side wall.
"The gray ones are iron, the brighter ones are steel, and the green ones are orchelium. The price is above each stack."
I walk over to the piles of metal bars. Each one seems to be 5 pounds, but they are more expensive than I thought. Four hundred credits for a steel bar, 1000 credits for an orchelium bar, and 200 credits for an iron bar. If I bought metal bars, I wouldn't make a profit selling forged swords. Sucks, but I will have to survive off the materials I find myself.

"Thank you, but I don't think I'll be buying anything today," I say, and I leave the shop. The woman doesn't say anything on my way out, and I turn to walk the direction the blacksmith is not in.
There really isn't anything I can do down here except for forge more swords. If I wait two days, or something like that, I will be able to sell everything I have to buy a super sexy slave, but I could leave here and get a real slave.
From what I know, vampires need to drink blood, so that is one caveat to getting a vampire, but I could just get another vampire slave, or buy a bunch of that fake blood stuff.
Either way, I should spend the next few days forging swords and seeing where that gets me. If I don't have enough money, boo hoo, if I don't like the slaves they have here, oh well.
I go back to the same place I was at yesterday and build a forge again. The more I think about it, the more I want to buy more of the dungeon torches. Even if I can't sell them for credits, I can use then to power the forge. I want to reduce the amount of coal I use so I don't have to buy more every shop day. Ideally, I want my smithing process to be self-sufficient.
For the remaining one and a half days, I forge swords like nobody's business. One hundred and forty-six iron swords later, I use all my coal up and get ready for that ding that signals the start of a shop day.
