1st Chapter - Almost a prologue

Typer’s room: Hi there. For those of you who knows about my other works, hi again, for those who never met me, Greetings, I’m the one known as Warhawx.

I have two other works here on the site, but this one is a bit different from my previous one. Firstly, it have to genders I never went too deep in all of my works, posted or not. Gender bender and Martial arts, so if you don’t like any of those, this work might not be up to your tastes. Although gender bender is seen really early on, even when I’m already writing chapter 15, the martial arts is still a bit in the works, so it might be a bit too slow for some people and might present a few inconsistencies. For that, I’m sorry, and if possible, help me correct these mistakes of mine as I do want to make it an enjoyable read.

Another thing worthy noting, is that I began a bit lazily here with the whole memory thing as I didn’t plan to post this at all, but my mind changed a lot during this time and I will begin to work on it soon enough as a part of the plot.

Finally, this work was made in G.Docs, with the help of a couple of Den dwellers, so it might be a bit different of a tone I use in my other works.

All that said and done, thanks for bearing with me up to now.

May your reading be enjoyable.

-----

A warm feeling spread around my body, my memories fuzzy as I felt myself floating into something comfortable that left me with a feeling of security. I tried opening my eyes, but for no avail, as even with them open I could see nothing. I felt that I should be worried about this, but for some reason I just felt so strangely at ease within this place that I ended up not really feeling bothered.

However, I still felt a bit strange.

More specifically, my memories were strange, some parts of it were as clear as a day, like the place where I live, the school I went, the friends I made, the moments I had with my family and so on. However, other parts were strangely muddy. I could not remember things like my name, how I looked and what I was doing the last time I was awake.

Yet, I just felt so… Peaceful.

I could also feel as some strange energy seemed to flow inside me, something unlike anything I ever felt before. It coursed through the whole of my body, passing through each and every part of my body, before going back and gathering around the lower part of my abdomen, just below my heart.

The energy was weak, very discreet and almost inexistent, but it was there, I could feel it. Probably because it was unlike anything I had ever felt before I could notice it, even with it being so infinitely small.

However, when I focused a bit more, I could feel a similar energy flowing around me, instead of within me. Except that this energy was massively bigger than the little energy I had, probably being around tens to hundreds of time, and that’s being the most conservative estimate I had.

I felt a bit confused about this thought, but seeing that fussing over it would lead me nowhere, I decided to simply ignore this feeling and decided to relax wherever I was.

And for a good time that’s what I did. Within that warm and secure place I was, I simply slept peacefully. Even the fact that I was within the deepest darkness, unable to move somehow wasn’t enough to make me worried.

For once or twice I felt a brief moment of panic, when I thought that instead of simply laying on this place numbly, I should get out of here and discover what happened, so I got a bit agitated and started moving around, trying to get away.

But then, that massive energy that I constantly felt would simply approach me, invade my own agitated energy, and then…

I would feel calm once again.

Even when that alone somehow screamed “Dangerous”, I somehow couldn’t bring myself to think of that as worrying, even when I was in my alert panicked state, I somehow couldn’t bring myself to think of that act as something worrying.

I would feel a warm and gentle feeling going deep into my very soul, and then a soft and gentle voice would speak as if right into my mind.

“Calm down, little one. Everything is alright.”

Well, I say that it spoke into my mind, but to tell the truth it was more like the meaning of whatever it wanted to speak to me was projected into my mind rather than hearing it.

And feeling the sincerity in those words, I would end up calming down again and again. Strangely enough, the voice would always carry a surprisingly happy tone whenever it spoke to me.

I’ve lost count of how many days I spend in there. That is, if it was even possible to lose something that you never had.

However, after a long time of which I lost my count, my time in this little heaven slowly came to an end.

The energy that had for so long enveloped me in a protective way, with its gentle and protective nature suddenly became furious, rushing around as a river that approaches a waterfall.

And then, another force, this one much more physical and expressible started to push me. It took me by surprise, pushing me towards somewhere, something. Feeling panicky for this sudden feeling, I tried fighting it back, tried to go against it and not let it move me away from this place that I was at the moment.

However, that force was much stronger than whatever kind of strength I could gather on my body, and slowly but surely I was moved away from this gentle protective place.

A deep feeling craved in my heart, as I immediately started missing the gentle feeling of the place that now I considered the closest to a home. I started to squirm around as I felt a cold feeling on my feet. I tried pooling them back, tried to go back to that place I was, but something, two large somethings grabbed me, and started to pull me out.

And against that unknown force plus the things pulling me from my feet, I soon was taken out from my safe place.

Then, light hit my eyes, and doing something I rarely did before then, I let my instincts take over me.

Then I cried.

“!#%*#!%^@!” A voice said cheerfully, getting me by surprise and making me slowly open my eyes. But the light was too intense, so I had to close them before doing the same much slower, giving myself time to get used to it.

After getting used to it, I finally managed to look around, stopping my cries so that I could look at what had spoken with me.

What I saw was a giant old woman, being a few times bigger than me to the point that made me think that she was a giant. She looked like someone in her late seventies or more with a lightly tanned skin and a stern looking face under her white hair and wrinkled face. However, the moment that our eyes crossed, she suddenly smiled happily before turning to someone besides her.

Following her eyes and seeing her mouth flap open and close while talking in a strange language, the one I saw this time was massively more impressive. Towering even above the old giantess, there was a strong looking man, with short black hair and some stubbles of a beard. Wearing some old linen robe and pants that looked straight out of an old movie about china or japan, the man approached me, his serious and intimidating face turned towards me for some time before he suddenly degenerated into a silly happy smile as he wriggled his fingers while approaching me.

I felt a bit surprised by his sudden change and tried to move away, but it seemed that the old giantess who was holding me disapproved his actions, as she quickly slapped his hand away before scolding him dearly. Looking shocked at how could such a huge giant be in fear of the smaller giant, it was only when I heard another voice that the two finally stopped.

After some difficulty, I managed to move my neck around, a weird feeling crossing through my body as if it wasn’t my own. Sometime after I finally managed to see who it was that spoke lastly, and so I became shocked.

A gorgeous looking woman with flowing light red hair. She was unlike any other woman I had even seen, her face having the perfect proportions, and her body having curves that left any other woman in the dust. However, for some reason she looked strangely exhausted, with sweat covering her body as her breath looked rugged as her chest went up and down on a fast rhythm.

She smiled lightly upon seeing me, and she quickly extended her arms, as if asking something from the old woman, however, upon seeing her do that, my body reacted almost as if in instinct, as I did the same while turning towards her.

The old woman quickly approached her and gave me to the woman on the bed. She held me in her embrace while gently hugging me. Strangely enough, even thought I was near this woman, I didn’t feel fear. Neither did I feel aroused due to her beauty, I simply felt… Safe.

“%$^#!^$@” She spoke to me softly while gently rubbing my chin, giving me a pleasurable feeling.

Extending my hand, I somehow grabbed her finger, which made her giggle slightly.

Then, I noticed it. Her voice, exactly the same as the one I heard while I was in that dark place. Even if now I couldn’t understand it, I could still somehow tell.

A thought quickly passed on my mind, and for the first time, I looked at myself.

A small and round body, with chubby legs and arms that looked as fragile as a dried twig, yet shone lightly with some remaining humidity.

It’s not like these people were giants, somehow, I had gone back to being an infant, and from the looks of it, I had just been reborn. Feeling nervous about this, I quickly started to squirm around, my desperate shout ended up as a low crying. Noticing me, the woman quickly became nervous and looked around lost.

The old woman sighed before murmuring some words to her, to which she nodded. Before I knew, she was hugging me a bit tighter while gently petting my head. My shock slowly faded away as a gentle feeling, just like the one I had before started to envelop me, and before I knew, I was slowly falling asleep.

Still feeling confused about what was happening, I ended up falling asleep.

But as the last thoughts in my mind slowly drifted into darkness, one last thing lingered within my mind. Even though there are some things I can’t remember from my previous life, there was one thing I’m one hundred percent sure about. I was a man in my last life.

So… WHY THE HELL DID I BECOME A GIRL NOW?
