Typer’s room: Hello guys. Sorry for the delay, but here is the chapter!
Okay, time for some more information on her spirit situation! And before you guys come saying about the breathing techiniques and so on, I must say that I did read about them and found them interesting, so I’ll probably work around with them later on. This didn’t happen because this chapter was written some time ago, so forgive-me for that.
As I said before, this is VASTLY a work in progress, and wasn’t made to be posted initially, so there might be some inconsistencies. If so, please do tell me, as I want to make it an enjoyable read ^^
May your reading be enjoyable.

“Yes, all you need to do is to keep doing what you were doing before.” Master Roshi told me as I sat down on our usual spot.
“Hmm… Okay then...” I said a bit apprehensive, but nodded nonetheless.
After a brief look around, taking a passing glance at Yulan who followed us around, and Mo Lu, who had his hand on my forehead as he felt the flow of my spirit. I closed my eyes, started to focus on my inner spirit, and started to move it around, doing the same old routine that I did every morning when training. Taking a part of my spirit, forming a small vortex to thin it out, then slowly extend it outwards.
But the moment it reached my skin, it hit an invisible wall and spread out.
I showed them a couple of times how the same thing happened no matter where I tried to pass through, and after finishing my usual routine, I took a deep breath and opened my eyes once again. Mo Lu looked at me curiously while Yulan had a confused expression in his face.
He took off the hand from my forehead and stared at it for a moment as confusion painted his expression. Looking at him worried for a moment, he turned his gaze towards me and said.
“You have a really supple skin.”
It took Roshi a fraction of a second to land a punch on the other master’s head, almost making his face meet with the ground.
“We are trying to be serious here, You Cranetard.”
“Can’t you take an effing joke, You Idiotoise!”
As the two masters exchanged glares and made almost literal sparks fly between their eyes, Yulan and me couldn’t help but smile awkwardly at the scene.
“They really get along well, huh?” I said.
“...Does it really look like that?” The retard asked me confused.
“Nope, but I felt that I had to say it anyway.” I shrugged.
“Oh… Yeah… It does looks like this kind of scene.” He put his hand on his chin in a thinking position.
Well, jokes aside, even though the two masters looked like they were almost at each other’s throat, in truth I didn’t feel their spirits being moved around, so I could say that this was mostly some normal squabble between the two.
It took some time and some exchange of silly sounding puns that probably should be offensive, but sounded so idiotic that they were actually funny, for the two to finally calm down, and Mo Lu took a deep sigh and put on a serious expression once again.
“Anyway, as you said, it really is a peculiar situation.” He said while scratching his chin. An action I found oddly familiar to the one Yulan made. “It looks like someone put a seal on her body, but it’s completely different from anything I’ve ever seen.”
“What do you mean?” Roshi asked the words that also floated in my mind while stroking his magnificent beard.
“Well, firstly, it seems that the seal only works on her. Proof of that was that I could analyze how her spirit moved without any problem.” Mo Lu said with a sigh. “Second, is that the seal is… Surprisingly weak, to the point I can’t even feel its origin. Either that, or it’s easily the best seal I have ever seen in my life, with absolutely no excess energy escaping.”
“That...” Roshi started before frowning. “Are you sure that it’s a seal?” He asked finally.
“I have absolutely no idea.” Mo Lu said suddenly, leaving us confused. “This is too unique to even be called a seal or something. And worse, since my own spirit seems unable to interact with it, I am unable to actually analyze it, and I doubt the girl, even being a genius on the level of the retard… I mean Idiot… I mean, Yulan, I doubt she will have the experience to know what I would need to have her check on her own.” He looked at Roshi with a serious expression. “I’d say the chance of this being a seal is the same as it being a rare condition, or being whatever the hell else it could be.”
“Does that means that she have no hope for solving this problem?” Roshi asked, but Mo Lu simply shook his head with a slightly troubled smile.
“Technically, no.” He turned to me and gave an analyzing stare. “As I said, either the seal, or whatever else it is, is very weak, or it’s extremely well made. Whichever the case, if she were to become stronger, she should be able to break it naturally.” He frowned for a moment before turning to Roshi. “Or at least I think so. There’s also the chance that it might grow with her, and that would be troubling, to say the least.”
“But, before that happened, she would need to train anyway, huh?” Roshi said while seeming in deep thought.
“Yes, and my estimative is that she will need to reach the second heaven to be able to break it as it is right now.” I frowned at Mo Lu’s words because a strange term squirmed itself in.
“That’s the official naming for what we call second tier...” Roshi said with a wry smile. “I always found it a bit too grand and vague sounding.”
“So you go around teaching your disciple the wrong naming.” Mo Lu added with a sneer. A vein popped up in Roshi’s forehead, but he kept quiet.
“ANYWAY.” Roshi said before turning to me, and his annoyed expression became one of slight grief. “For her to break the seal, she would need to train, but...”
“To train, she would need to break the seal, huh?” Mo Lu said with an annoyed tone. “Yet the amount of spirit she holds within is already incredible. Even though she is your disciple...” he gave a death stare to master Roshi, who replied in kind. “It would be a shame to deprive a genius like her of means to train. I’ll look into it.” He said finally, leaving all of us shocked.
“Didn’t you say that you couldn’t analyze her situation?” Roshi asked confused, but only received a mischievous gaze as a response.
“I’m not called Seal-King Mo Lu for nothing, you tortoise fart!”
I kind of expected Roshi to go at him, but surprising us he actually smiled before bowing to Mo Lu and sincerely thanking him. Being caught off guard by Roshi’s sudden sincere action, Mo Lu became slightly flustered and quickly cleared his throat.
“Still, it would be better to have her keep training, even if only superficially. This way the time while she is still sealed won’t be wasted.” The master said with a slight uncomfortable expression.

“Humm… About that...” I said with a slightly shy tone. “I had an idea abou...”
“Hey! If she can’t take her inner spirit out, why don’t she take the worldly spirit in?” A certain annoying person who had kept quiet all this time interrupted me.
“Shut up you retard! Isn’t that impossible! Besides, don’t you see the girl was talking?” Mo Lu shouted angrily before turning back to me. “Go on, little lady.”
I looked bleakly towards Yulan before looking back to Mo Lu with a conflicting feeling.
“I don’t think I want to say it anymore.” I said while looking back at the masters. “I mean… I feel that if I say the same thing as the retard, I would lower myself to his level.”
“Hey! What are you talking about? Lowering to my level?”
“Oh? And what exactly did you have in mind?” Mo Lu asked intrigued.
“AND WHY ARE YOU LISTENING TO HER AND NOT ME! IT’S ME WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR DISCIPLE!”
Ignoring the annoying idiot that kept annoying us in an annoyingly annoying way, I decided that simply showing the masters my idea would work a bit better than trying to explain it to them.
Still, to think that he had a similar idea to mine… I can’t help but feel strangely annoyed for some reason.
Still, I quickly closed my eyes and started to focus once again, feeling as I slowly took control of my spirit. After some time I felt as two wrinkled, but kind hands rested against my forehead as Roshi and Mo Lu watched and I put my idea into motion.
However, instead of trying to send my own inner spirit outside, I started to move it on the opposite direction, making it flow around my body as it gathered around the core in my body. However, I wasn’t satisfied with the results, and kept at it until all of my body, with the exception of the spirit near the core of my heart, was rid of my spirit.
Easier said than done, though. I had to be very thorough with this if I wanted my plan to work, so I couldn’t leave even the slightest trace of spirit remaining, and this by itself was already having a hefty tax on my mind.
“You...” I heard Roshi say with a mix of shock, surprise and apprehension.
A small smile crept up my face, but I quickly stopped it and went back to focusing while hoping that my plan could somehow work.
It was a long shot, to tell the truth, but if my deductions had been correct up to this point, this is where I would tell whether it would work or not.
According to Roshi’s teachings, worldly spirit was everywhere with the exception of a living being’s bodies, where the Inner spirit lies.
Now, why is it that it is only in people’s bodies that worldly spirit don’t inhabit? If you stopped to think for a bit, the reason was fairly simple. It’s not like our body repels it or anything. Our inner spirit does so.
So, my idea was to gather all the spirit which fills my body into a tight space, this way creating a large room within my body devoid of inner spirit, where worldly spirit would then be able to pass through. And since the limitation by this strange condition only worked on the physical limitations of my skin, I could easily gather the worldly spirit without needing to move my inner spirit to outside of my body.
Well, ‘easily’ is a very relative word.
It was taking all I had just to keep my body as clean as possible from inner spirit, so that worldly spirit would somehow be able to come in without being repulsed. And even then I had no idea if this was going to work!
Thankfully, it did, and soon I felt as the spirit from outside leisurely flowed in.
Smiling to myself, I soon started to work on the next part of my idea. From the relatively small sphere that was all my inner spirit gathered, I soon started to gather it into a small and thin vortex.
But…
“I… Can’t… Anymore… This...” I said as I fell flat on the ground.
Just thinking was hard, let alone concentrating on maintaining my inner spirit in that state AND make the vortex at the same time. It gave me a weird sensation, as I wasn’t tired mentally nor physically, but a sense of exhaustion still covered my whole body, as if I had just run a whole marathon or went through a difficult test.
Also, it seemed that my skill of sensing spirit had pretty much gone awry, because I could feel fluctuating energies everywhere, almost as if I was seeing static on TV.
I felt as both masters quickly pulled me up from the ground. I somehow heard as they said something to me, but I couldn’t really bring myself to hear what it was about, because I felt my consciousness slowly drift into the deep darkness.
…
A pleasant sensation spread around my whole body as I felt something gently caressing my head in a slow but rhythmic pattern. I could feel that my head was resting on something strangely soft, but I felt no care about it.
My head still a bit hazy from having just woken up and from the numbing pleasure of having my head petted, I didn’t have the energy to work around opening my eyes or moving in a more broader term.
Still, I could faintly hear a few somethings far away in the distance… Or not, maybe they are actually close by but I just can’t bring myself to focus? No matter.
Enjoying myself in the comfortable feeling, I curled up slightly, or as much as my own lightheadedness allowed me to. This made the petting stop for a moment before going on.
“Anyway...” I heard a familiar, elderly sounding voice say. “As I was saying, all she need right now is some rest. She overexerted herself during the training and need some rest.”
“Isn’t it YOUR job to make sure this doesn’t happen?” I heard a mature woman’s voice coming from above.
“Errmm...” Another elderly voice said. “Look, she did something almost unthinkable by herself!” He sounded hurried. “Besides, we didn’t have a chance to actually go and stop her, so it’s not like it’s our fault, okay?”
“And what proof do you have for that?” The woman’s voice asked angrily. “Spiritualist or not, it’s better that this does not repeat itself, okay?”
“Nee, Miss Ping.” I heard another voice, this one much younger sounding coming from besides me. “Will the cute plebeian be alright?”
“ALL SHE NEED IS SOME MEAT! HA HA H-AGUUUH!!” An annoying voice replied to the worried one.
“SHUT UP YOU RETARD!” One of the elderly voices said angrily.
Still feeling a bit lost on what was happening I somehow managed to piece up whatever it was that they were speaking about. If I understood it, it seems that all I need right now is some rest. Deciding to follow up on the offer, I once again let my consciousness drift away while curling myself a bit more.
