“Woah, that's a lot of information. Most of this seems pretty straightforward I guess,” Alice thought as she went through her character sheet. The more Alice read, the more she thought this was some sort of dream where she was inside in a video game. So she did what any other person would do to try and wake up from a dream, she slapped herself as hard as she could.
“Ouch... that hurt... Mmmm... that's weird... maybe this is not a dream?” Alice's brows furrowed and her heart rate started to race. Before she could process the fact that she might have been transported to another world further, another translucent screen popped up in front of her.

“Quest? My class? Ok this is definitely like the games my husband played,” Alice said to herself as she kept walking.
“Alright I’ll play along I guess, let’s complete my quest,” Alice said cheerfully. Alice kept walking for a couple more minutes until she reached a small pond surrounded by a few trees. She approached the pond and caught a glimpse of her reflection.
Alice noticed that she looked... different. She still looked like herself, but... younger as if she was in her early 20s not the early 30s she currently was. She also noticed her muscle mass was well defined, and no longer had those extra few pounds you gain after getting married.
She exercised on a regular basis back on Earth. She did yoga and her occasional Pilates class, but honestly, who had the time to be in shape when you worked at a hospital full time, and had a husband at home wanting attention. Looking more at her reflection, she thought she looked, dare she say it, pretty darn good.
Alice was amazed by her looks. She has never been in such a good shape before, and now that she thought about it, she felt pretty good as well. She felt full of energy and no longer fatigued from working those crazy 20-hour shifts she worked at the hospital.
She kept staring at her reflection, looking at it from every angle, when suddenly a small creature jumped from a nearby tree aiming straight for her face. Alice did not notice in time, but still tried to duck. The creature missed her face but ended up on top of Alice’s head. The creature started scratching Alice's face. Alice was in shock, screaming and jumping around. She was finally able to grab the creature, and threw it a few yards in front of her.
Alice was now able to take a good look at the creature. It was a sort of squirrel-like creature, but with a wolf-like head. It looked fierce and deadly, and most importantly it looked angry at her. The creature started dashing towards her, and jumped straight towards her face again. Alice, without even thinking and out of pure instinct, did a perfect backflip to evade the creature.

“Woah! How did I do that! That was awesome!” Alice shouted. The creature jumped at her again but this time Alice was prepared; she did another backflip, but this time incorporated a kick that sent the wolf squirrel flying into a nearby tree. Alice heard bones break as the wolf squirrel hit the tree. The wolf squirrel was no longer moving but it was still breathing. Alice moved closer and kicked it again.
Wolf Squirrel Defeated.
Alice stood triumphant, proud of what she had accomplished. Alice was no stranger to death, being an ER doctor was no walk in the park either and she had faced death many times before. The fact that she was imparting the death did feel a little weird, but hey, "It was in self-defense, it attacked me first," reasoned Alice. She was shaking a little due to the nerves of being in a fight, but that only lasted a couple of seconds before she realized what she had done. “I did a freaking backflip! That was amazing,” Alice said as she remembered something from her character sheet. She opened up her character sheet and took a closer look at her skills.
Skills:
Acrobatics - Lvl 1
Tend Wounds - Lvl 1
Hike - Lvl 1
“Acrobatics huh, is this what is letting me do all those ninja moves?” Alice asked. The moment she finished the question, Acrobatics expanded and it now gave an actual definition.
Acrobatics - Substantially increases physical agility and flexibility to allow for easier movement.
“Interesting, is this one of the skills that got transferred? Does that mean I already had it before? I mean I was in gymnastics since I was a little girl, all the way through high school so I guess it makes sense,” Alice said to herself. “Alright… might as well take a look at the rest of my skills.”
Tend Wounds - Gives a general understanding of the basic anatomy of all races in Sfiraz, allowing you to detect injuries and physically treat them. Must possess correct items to treat injuries.
Hike - Gives a small boost to your stamina allowing you to walk for longer distances at a time.
“Tend wounds makes sense since I’m a doctor and have plenty of knowledge on how to treat injuries," Alice reasoned. "And Hike.. well this is the last time I let Tim tell me that going for a hike is a waste of time,” said Alice, smirking a little. Then it hit her. Tim, her husband, was not with her. Would she be able to see him again? Would he be okay? Did he already figure out that she was not on Earth anymore? All these questions came rushing to her mind. Alice’s eyes started to tear up. “Tim, I wish you were here. You would be a great help right now,” she said as she let tears run down her cheeks.
After a few seconds, Alice wiped her face and stood up straight. “Alright, enough of that. I will find a way to get back to my world so no sense in crying right now,” said Alice in a much more cheerful tone. Alice started walking again. She walked a few miles before a new quest appeared in front of her.
New Quest: Discover your first town
Reach the gates of any town or city.
Reward - 10 gold coins
“Sounds easy enough, now let's just find a town and I think I should be able to level up,” said Alice cheerfully. Alice kept walking and noticed that her stamina was going down the more she walked. She would have to keep an eye on her stamina from now on to make sure it didn't get too low. She was hoping her current stamina would be enough to reach a town. She walked a couple more miles when she finally found a dirt road leading north. “Yay, a dirt road! This should for sure take me to a town. I need to eat soon... this world is not ready for hangry Alice."
