My eyes sparkles as cogs turned in my head. A plan forming just soon as i heard his name.

Didn’t think i would have to use these knowledge, but i guess i don't have a choice.

“ My name’s Ari,” I said with a smile “What are you seeing Master Shen for?”

He sat down on the chair beside me and replied “ I’m here to ask him to craft a weapon specially designed for me.”

“Cool,” I acted as if i was interested.

“I’m here to sell some materials but the receptionist could not identify it, so she went to find Master Shen” I said, getting closer to him.

“Then that must mean that it's very rare if even Sheryl couldn’t identify it,” Garin laughed.

“I don’t even know if it’s even any good, I accidently made it when i was fooling around with a magical artifact i made.” I said as i flipped my hair to the side.

“ Wow, you must be very talented,” he complimented.

“Thanks” I giggled.

To my dismay, i had to continue flirting with him for thirty more minutes until the receptionist came back.

“Miss, Master Shen would like you speak to you,” she said.

“Sheryl, I need to see Master Shen too,” Garin said.

“Sorry Garin but Master Shen wants to speak to her alone,” she apologised.

“Okay then, i’ll talk to him later,” Garin said as he waved “See you next time Ari.”

“I’ll be back here next week” I said as i waved back while walking towards the back room.

While walking, the receptionist said to me “Careful around him, he’s a playboy.”

“Oh you got it all wrong, i’m only 13 years old, he’s too old for me,” I replied as i was caught red handed.

After entering the backroom, we navigated through the maze of corridors and entered through a curtained door.

We were greeted by an old man with white hair and a long flowing white beard. He was in a blue robe. His eyes showing a great deal of life in contrast to his appearance.

Master Shen motioned me to sit on the chair in front of him while the receptionist left the room, giving us privacy.

“Girl, in my forty years of experience, i have seen many different types of materials before but i have never seen anything like yours,” Master Shen asked “where did you find this?”

“I accidently made it when i was tinkering with a magical artifact i created,” I replied.

“Where’s this magical artifact now?” Master Shen asked excitedly.

“Why? Is the material useful?” I questioned as I looked into his eyes, trying to search for lies.

“This material is unbelievable! Even though it is unrefined and can’t house many arrays, it can handle extremely high temperature,” he said enthusiastically “ People at the blacksmith house would pay a fortune for this.”

“Unfortunately, the magical artifact was destroyed when i made the material,” I lied.

“Can you try making it again?” he asked.

“I could but i would require a lot of materials and even then I not even sure if I can replicate the results,” I said “ However, before it was destroyed, i managed to make 30kg of this material.”

Master Shen eyes immediately lit up as i felt his heart beat rise with my divine sense.

“This material maybe good but it’s only useful for blacksmiths, so i can’t sell it for that much,” Master Shen bartered “ The best i can do is 40000.”

“I really need the points, can you please sell me for 50000 points? ” I asked as i put on my puppy dog eyes.

“Nope” Master Shen shamelessly replied.

“How about 30000 and you help me get all the materials i need for the magical artifact?” I said as i acted innocent. I was hoping that he would take this bait thinking that the materials would not be so costly.

“ What do you need to rebuild it?” he asked.

Dammit, he didn’t fall for it.

“I need about 20000 points of material to rebuild it.” I said bashfully. I didn’t really need to rebuild it as it was never destroyed. However I needed the 20000 to build the printer.

“How about I’ll pay you 30000 now and 30000 later if you can build the magical artifact?” he asked.

“ I’m willing to invest in you if you only sell the material to me if you can rebuild it,” he said.

Dammit, he’s smart. If i can’t rebuild it, he would be buying it at his original price and if i can rebuild it, he would have all monopoly of this.

“How about you pay me 30000 now and 50000 later if I can build the magical artifact and only sell to you?” I asked with confidence. Since i had already build the machine, i knew that i would definitely be getting 50000 points. Moreover it would be better for me if only one person knows that I can make this material.

“Sure, pleasure doing business with you.” he said as he raised a piece of paper infused with mana.

“Next week,i’ll be back with all the materials,” I said as signed the contract in agreement.

After signing the contract, our business was complete. I left the room only to find the receptionist standing outside. She guide me out of the maze of corridors and onto the main lobby where i found that Garin had already left.

Finished with my business, i went back to the academy to discuss with Vivian and Ciri what we would be doing tomorrow.

We were meeting in Vivian room to discuss our plans. Tomorrow was the day we would start our operation of stealing Mr Chad office keys.

When i arrived at Vivian’s room, i knocked the door.

When i entered the room, i was stunned. Speechless.

“Ciri showed it to me, she said i should stop wearing such ugly clothes,” Vivian said with an innocent face.

As i was sobbing internally, i heard a knock on the door.

“That must be Ciri” Vivian said “Ciri, you can come in.”

When Ciri came in saw Vivian, she screamed “OMG! Vivian, you looked so cute!”

As Vivian turned to Ciri and shook her head, Ciri sighed in disappointment.

“What’s is..” I tried to asked before i was cut off.

“So what’s our plan tomorrow,” Ciri interrupted.

Not noticing her trying to change the subject, i answered “ Okay this is the plan. Tomorrow during lunch, Ciri you will accidentally knocked into him, spilling all his papers onto the ground. While you two are picking up the papers, me and Vivian will try to steal his key from his back pocket. Since, he doesn't know who you are, he won't suspect anything.”

“How are we going to steal the key from his back pocket without him noticing? Wont he notice something missing from him?” Vivian asked.

“Watch,” I said as i showed them my dull dagger. The dagger floated up into the air, not releasing any mana fluctuation.

“How are you doing that?” they asked in shock.

“I bought this in marketplace in Windon, this dagger can hide mana fluctuations. However, it can only last for a few minutes and the dagger is not sharp.” I explained “I will use this dagger to hook onto the chains of the key and pull it out while he’s distracted.”

“Cool!” Ciri cheered.

“Any more questions?” I asked.

“If you can do that yourself, why do you need me?” Vivian asked.

“ You will use your power of death to hide our lifesigns from him, so he won’t notice anyone else around him,” I answered.

“Ari! That’s dangerous, if i mess up any part of the spell, it would backfire on both of us. I don’t think i can do this,” Vivian cried.

“Nonsense, you have never failed any of your spells before, and besides, I have no doubt that you will not fail.” I cheered her on.

“Really?You really believe in me?” Vivian smiled.

Dam! This is really hard to not get distracted when she’s giving me such a cute smile in that attire.

Tomorrow me and Vivian met up with Ciri right after lunch at block 23. We had already memorised Mr Chad timetable a long time ago, thus we knew exactly where he would be at what time.

When we saw him walked out of the block, we immediately begin our operation. Me and Vivian hiding behind a large pillar as Ciri walked down the corridor preparing to accidentally knock into him.

When we hear the sounds Mr Chad screaming, i began to will my knife to move.

“Now see what you made me do!” Mr Chad screamed “ Now all my papers are all over the place and i’m going to be late for lunch.”

Ciri began to profusely apologise as she tried to pick up all the papers. Vivian began to use her spell and coated us in a dark membrane.

My knife floating from above near the ceiling. When Mr Chad bent down to pick up his papers, my knife went down. As slow as a snail, my knife gently hooked itself onto the small thin chain of his office keys. I willed it to pull back as slow as i can to not let him notice.

“Success!” I cheered internally as my knife latched onto the keys and pulled it upwards towards the ceiling.

After picking up all his papers, Mr Chad immediately left to get his lunch, mumbling and cursing at Ciri along the way.

Seeing that he left the vicinity, i let the knife and the keys drop onto my hands before heading towards his office together with Ciri and Vivian.
