“Anna you are going to Skyin Academy” the emperor said.

“I have spoilt you for far too long, you have to be more responsible” the emperor said.

Wait what? What the fuck is going on? I just got back to the castle and the first thing my father say to me is that i have to go to Skyrin Academy? How did he know i wanted to go there?

“ I know you don’t want to go there, but u need to learn how to socialize with other people. I have been spoiling you, giving you everything you ever wanted but recently i’ve realised that it was a mistake. Because of my mistake, you have grown up with a silver spoon and have never had any troubles. You have no self independence and are over reliant on me. Thus I’m sending you there to be independant and take care of yourself ” the emperor said.

Well,that was easy. Just by acting spoilt, i got to enter the academy. Nice!

“Not only that, you will be living there as a commoner. Your title as a princess will be revoked and you will be given a fake identity. Only after you graduated, will you be allowed back your title. I know that you’ve been lazy about training your mana, so if you want to live as a princess again, you will have to bulk up” the emperor interrupted.

Wait, what the fuck! I’m not the princess anymore!? How am i going to talk and befriend Duchess Elina Thorne now!? Using the power of the princess is the only way i can meet her. Fuck! I shouldn’t have continued acting spoilt like the princess!

This is really a kink in my plans. Yeah it’s great i’m going to the academy but losing my authorities is a huge blow. How am i going to meet the Duchess as a commoner? There’s no way she would even spare a look at me.  

“Daddy please don’t make me live as a commoner, i will go to the academy and bulk up but please don’t make me a commoner, anything but that!” I pleaded with my puppy dog eyes.

“Not only that, your servants will also not be accompanying you . So you will have to do everything by yourself. I will also be revoking your allowance though i will allow you to keep your crystal card” He scolded.

“But but..” I tried to argue before i was interrupted again.

“No buts! Anymore words from you and i will add in more.” He said.

“Anna, i’m doing this because i love you. I already growing old and I won’t be able to take care of you forever. It would be my lifelong regret if i left you and you still aren’t able to take care of yourself. So would you please do this for me? ” He asked.

Goddammit, how am i supposed to argue with that. He’s pulling the old man last wish before he dies card. That’s so unfair, he’s not even that old yet!

Sigh, I fucked up. I fucked up so badly. I got too engrossed and excited about my authorities and power that i didn’t think about the consequences.

Dammit! Why did i have to go around acting all high and mighty. In fact, i already got used to this place a few days ago. I could have just started my plans then. I didn’t have to wait this long.

Oh my god! Did I get corrupted by power? I wanted to enjoy acting high and mighty so much that i had put my revenge to the back of my mind.

Lastly i have talk to my friend in the academy to look after you for me.” He said.

“You will know who he is when you arrived. Don’t worry ,you met him before” he said with a smile as he hugged me.

I walked through the academy grounds walking pass many groups of people. Everywhere i went, boys would turn their heads towards me muttering to each other about who the new mysterious beauty in the school was. Some of the older boys gave me lecherous gaze and talked to each other about how i would feel like in bed. I could hear almost everyone conversation with my enhanced hearing.

I was wearing a black shirt with blue shorts. My now blond hair tied in a pony tail. I was wearing a loose attire to be ready for my admission test.

Yuck! When i had my guards with me, no one would dare give me such looks or talk about me in such way! Now that i’m alone, i am now feeling like what a normal girl feels like. Is this how girls felt whenever i looked at them when i was Tate? I admit, when i had look and talk about girls like this before, but i had thought that girls would find it a compliment that people think they are hot. But now when the shoe is on the other foot, i now know that this feels so disgusting.

“Hey pretty, My name is Justin Holfgar, what’s yours, you seem to be new here?” He asked.

Fuck me, it’s a noble. Just play nice, you can do it! Just give an excuse and leave.

“Oh I’m Ari,short for Ariana, I just recently entered. I have to go to the admin office, so i can’t talk right now. If you excuse me..”I said.

“Oh, I can lead you there.” He interrupted.

Fuck! Just go away!

“You seems quite nice, my father is have a party this friday, would you like to accompany me there?” He asked as he followed me.

Dammit! My memories are telling me to flirt with him and use him and his power for my own gain. However there’s no way, i’m going to flirt with this playboy. Not in a million years!

“Sorry, i just recently arrived here and this friday i have an appointment. I don’t think i’m ready for any parties or anything like that yet” I said.

“Okay then, come find me when you’re ready. I’ll show you around.” He said before he left.

Good, he finally left! At least he didn’t pressed me or get angry at me for rejecting him. I was expecting him to be pissed that a commoner would reject him.

I entered the admin office to take to choose what subjects i wanted to take and to take my admission test.

I was given a list of subjects to choose from. I had to chose between a large number of subjects  some which were compulsory.Unfortunately, most of the stuff i had already learnt before were compulsory. The only subjects which i had never learned before that were compulsory were History of Iranda, Magic dueling and Magic casting.

From the number of subjects i could choose to take, i had to take a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6. I had decided to take spirit beasts,adventuring,warding, magical artifacts and enchanting.

I had decided to not take that many as i had to catch up with the rest of the class i was going to be in. It was already the 3rd month of the year. This means that i was already behind by 3 months worth of study. If i took too many,i did not think i would be able to handle it.

After i finished choosing my subjects i had to taken my admission test. I had went to a test arena to test my fighting aptitude, mana usage,element affinity and mana pool. To pass the admission test, i had to score minimum 14 points out of 20. At first i had thought it was easy, until i was informed how it was graded by the examiner.

For the test,people were graded by letters.

S was top tier genius level, A was for people who were very skilled, B was for people who were above average, C was the average score, D were below average and F were for failure. F grade meant 0 points,D was 1 points,C was 2 points,B was 3 points,A was four and S was five.

The first test was to check my mana pool, i had to place my hand on a crystal ball and allow it check my mana pool size. I was given a B rating.

The second test was my mana usage and element affinity. It was a test to see how well i could control mana ,how efficient my mana usage was and how high my element affinity was. I had to cast some simple wind spells in quick succession while they time how long i took and how much mana i need to use. The end result was that i had A grade for mana usage and C for element affinity.

I had expect this result as i had 17 years of using my mana. It was almost impossible for me to not do well for that test. For my element affinity, i did poorly. It was because i had just recently started training my affinity. During my 17 years in Holakur, i had never even known that mana pool had an element. It was almost a miracle that i had an average affinity rating when i had just recently started.

The last test was a battle with the examiner. He had wanted to simulate real combat and see how well i could do. It was a first real battle i had experience in my life. I was nervous.

I started off by buffing myself first. I placed my hands together and willed the mana in my body to surge.Specks of cyan light appeared and formed around my body. As the mana surged and rotated around me,i casted wind run and wind prediction. Two most useful buffing spells i had in my memories.

Wind run was a spell that removed air resistance around my body and used the wind to push my body in the direction i wanted to move in. This spell increases my speed tremendously.

Wind prediction was a spell which allowed to predict what direction the opponent was going to move by feeling how direction of the wind changes when the opponent moves.

After buffing myself,I willed my mana and specks of cyan light appeared in front of my body. Instantly, an enormous Wind Blade tens of feet long appeared in the air. The wind blade promptly transformed into a ray of cyan light as it violently shot out.

As it shot out, the examiner placed his hands together and two pillars of flames formed around him. It intertwined with each other and faintly began to morph into a long scarlet cloud of flame that was a few feet in diameter. He shot the the scarlet cloud of flame instantly towards my wind blade. It met in the middle of the arena, causing an explosion of flame and hot wind.

Using the smoke of the explosion as cover, i formed seven wind blades formed from cyan light. A shattering sound rang out immediately as the wind blades shot forward.

The examiner retaliated immediately to that by forming 7 red flaming fireballs. Each fireball meeting each wind blade. More explosion formed as they met.

Feeling that i would eventually lose, if i just continue to shoot wind blades at him due to him having a higher mana pool, i ran forward using the cover of smoke again.

This time, instead of forming wind blades in the air and shooting at him, i formed a wind blade around my practice sword that i was given for the test. My sword teared through the air as i swung it at the examiner’s head.

In my memories, i had a master’s knowledge in terms of sword fighting.

As it was about to hit him, he deflected it using his own practice sword. I continued my barrage of attacks but he perfectly deflected every hit. Everytime he tried to hit me back,i would dodge or deflect it narrowly. Using my wind run i could keep up with his speed and using my wind predict i could predict where he was going to hit in the nick of time.

He would also sometimes shoot fireballs at me while i was distracted and every time i tried to do the same using wind blades, he just blocked it with his fireballs.

Through my superior sword skills,every few swings of my sword,i managed to pass his defenses and get a hit. However as my barrage continued, i grew more tired and my mana continued to drop while his mana and stamina were still relatively high.

“Arrh!” he said as my sword slashed at his mana shield. Though mana shield could block and negate damage,it could not prevent the pain from the force of the attack.

“Darn it, looks like i have to get serious now. I can’t be losing to a 13 year old girl, can it.” He said

“ I really wish to see your limit, right now i can already see that you are an A grade. I wonder if you can reach S grade. Now come on,show me everything!” He motivated me.

He willed his red specks of light around his body and formed a whirlpool of flame. It rotated around him and flung fire balls at me whenever i got near. Not only that, he casted flame sword which imbues the sword with fire. Everytime, my sword met his, i would get burned by the flickering flames.

Dammit he went serious, looks like i’ve to get serious too.

I went into sensory overdrive mode and used divine sense. As i activated my spirit abilities, i felt everything around me. I felt the wind slicing through the air and the flames burning around arena.

Stacking my divine sense,sensory overdrive,my heightened senses and wind prediction. I could see all of his weak spots and predict his next attack. Every time he swung his sword, i dodge to the side and attacked his weak spot. Every time a fireball is thrown, i would use my small amount of remaining mana to form wind walls to deviate their path as I did not have enough mana to form wind blades to block them.

“ Where did you learn your sword skills from? Even when i’m going all out, you’re pushing me back.” the examiner asked.

“ Darn it! I can’t believe i’m losing to a 13 year old girl.” the examiner said.

“I going all out now,if you can last for a minute,you win.” the examiner said as he charged his mana.

I could feel the fire element particles in the air flying towards him as he charged his spell. Red hot flames started to converge around him forming an armour of fire surrounding his body.

As he swung his sword, a wave of fire flew towards me. I ducked and rolled on the floor as I narrowly dodge his attack. He rushed forward towards me while continuing to swing his sword at me.

I retreated as fast as i could while narrowingly dodging every attack.

I just need to hang on for 40 more seconds. I can do it!

As i continued to dodge his attacks, i poured all of my remaining mana to wind run to increase my speed as much as possible. I used my spirit energy to focus my mind to stop myself from fainting from exhaustion and to not get distracted.

20 seconds left. Just a bit more!

I side stepped right and left dodging every single attack thrown at me. I didn’t have enough strength in my arms to deflect his sword. All i could do was use my legs to dodge everything. I dropped my sword in desperation to decrease my weight.

3 seconds left! Just a bit more, just a bit more!

He got closer, his sword was in range of me. He offed his all his flame around him in fear of hurting me too badly but swung his dull practice sword to hit me.

2.5 seconds!

As he swung at me, i rolled to my side.

2 seconds!

I willed my last trump card i had left.

1.5 seconds!

I grabbed my dull knife from my holster.

1 seconds!

Using spirit energy i willed the dagger to block his blow while holding it to hide the fact that the dagger could move through the air.

0.5 seconds!

“Clack” a metallic sound reverberated around the arena

0 seconds!

“Looks like i lost huh...” was the last thing i heard before i lost consciousness.
