Vlad’s bestial roar reverberated all over the warehouse, causing every living and unliving being to freeze in place out of fear. Even the Goblin Boss, despite being blessed by the Angel Faction couldn’t resist it and immediately stopped attacking the other players.
As the vampire continued to scream, his previous wound slowly healed. The steam that emanated from the slash mark dissipated into the air as his cut skin started to stitch back together, closing the gaping wound in his gut.
Vlad started to shake and writhe in pain, not from his wounds healing, but from something else. Something inside of him. It felt like his body was enduring another transformation, much like when he first became a vampire. His muscles bulged and throbbed uncontrollably while his fangs ached and extended even more than before.
“A-agh…!”
Vlad clenched his hands before slamming them into the ground, leaving two fist-sized craters in the concrete. He was hunched over, gasping for air as his lungs burned intensely as if they were on fire. His eyes darted around the warehouse before his vision turned red like he put on crimson-shaded sunglasses.
A sharp pain then coursed throughout Vlad’s body, while suddenly kicking his senses into overdrive. Everything he felt, tasted, smelled, heard, and saw was dialed up to eleven. The individual dust particles in the air, the multiple beating hearts pounding away, the sweet scent of blood from his friends and enemy, the delectable texture of the Boss’s blood mingling in his mouth, and the intense, unbearable pain his entire body felt as if he was going through a rapid growth spurt.

Vlad’s mind was completely overwhelmed by the overload of information. But more than that, he was still furious about what happened to him as his eyes glared at the Goblin Boss.
“You bastard…” Vlad snarled; his eyes still trained on the monster. “I’m going to rip you apart, you hear me?!”
Making this declaration, his feet kicked off the guard and he charged at the Goblin Boss. While running, he picked up his spear and was ready to tear the monster apart with it
Vlad continued to rush at the Goblin Boss, leaving a trail of crimson energy from his spear. The Boss let out a guttural roar and the holy energy surrounding it pulsed violently, reacting to its emotions.
Seeing that the fight was between the two of them once more, Lucy, Arthur, and the Gralls moved away, fearful of getting caught in the crossfire. Then, the two monsters collided. Vlad made the first move and swung his spear down on the Boss.
The Goblin Boss raised its battle axe to block the attack, only for it to be pushed down by the force of Vlad’s strike. Its feet dug into the concrete and its arms strained to keep its weapon up. Using this chance, Vlad released his left hand and hurled a Blood Strike blade at his enemy’s face.
He managed to get a direct hit, slashing its eyes and blinding the monster. It roared in pain, stumbling backward before pushing Vlad away with its weapon. The vampire gracefully landed on the ground, repositioning himself for another bout.
The Boss clutched its eyes as burning blood dripped down its face. The steam got more intense and it pulled its hand away, revealing that its eyes were healing. Vlad watched the wound he inflicted mend back together until both of its eyes regenerated.
Instead of feeling angry, he smiled at the sight, finding it amusing. “Well, looks like that Blessing is pretty strong, huh? I guess normal attacks won’t cut it with you.”
The Goblin Boss sneered, realizing that it had the upper hand against Vlad. Only that was a mistake.

Vlad twirled his spear around before slamming the butt of it on the ground, digging it into the concrete. He kept his eyes on the Boss and his smile was replaced with a menacing glare.
“If normal attacks won’t work…then how about this!”
He gripped the handle of his spear, and then a crimson aura began to radiate off the weapon as if responding to Vlad’s will. The energy became stronger and stronger until the entire spear was enveloped in the fierce red aura.

The Goblin Boss’s face fell while staring at the spear. It took a step back out of fear, its eyes widened in terror. Vlad smiled at the sight of this, enjoying its fearful expression.
“Let’s see you heal from this, you bastard!”
Vlad resumed his assault, lunging at the monster with his crimson spear in hand. The Boss tried to defend itself with its battleaxe, only for the handle to get cut in half when the vampire slashed his spear down, leaving a crimson arc in his wake.
He then latched onto the Boss and dug his spear deep into the Goblin Boss’s shoulder to the point where the entire spearhead was embedded into its flesh. The Boss roared in pain while reaching over to grab Vlad.
The Blood Hunter was quick on his feet and slashed another Blood Strike, and a blade of blood rocketed toward the beast’s hand, severing it from its wrist with ease. Vlad ignored the severed hand falling to the ground and continued attacking the Boss, not letting it have a chance to recover.
With his spear in hand, Vlad ripped it out of its shoulder by way of pulling up and carving out a chunk of it in the process. He wasn't done yet and slashed the weapon down, finishing the job by cutting off its entire arm from its shoulder joint.
Even with its holy aura allowing it to heal, regrowing a hand and arm would take a while, and Vlad wasn’t going to allow the monster to regenerate its limbs. Not when he was so close to ending it.
The Boss struggled to remain standing after getting its hand and arm cut off. Blood spurted from the wounds before smoke steamed off and closed it in an instant. Even if it did, the monster was practically defenseless now.
And in that moment, Vlad unleashed all of his hatred and anger on the Boss, slashing his crimson spear across its neck and decapitating it in an instant. This was the final nail in the coffin and its body fell to the floor, resulting in a loud and wet thud as its head rolled along its body.
Vlad stood on top of the Goblin Boss’s body, his eyes cold and menacing while glaring at the monster’s corpse. Then…

Seeing the stream of messages, Vlad made a toothy grin. Not only that but thanks to all those extra XP, Vlad managed to get to Level 21. Not only that, but he received some pretty good rewards as well, but he decided to check them out later.
After all, he had bigger concerns at the moment. While admiring the panels displaying his achievements, another message appeared alongside them, and instead of smiling, Vlad’s brows creased irritably. The reason why was almost pretty obvious.
[The Angel Faction has requested to speak with Player Vlad Stoker! Do you Accept? Y/N]
“That was pretty quick,” Vlad muttered, eyeing the panel with a suspicious and menacing glare.
Considering that he just completed the Quest that the Angel Faction interfered with twice, Vlad assumed that they were a bit annoyed by his victory. Likely attempting to burst his bubble by declaring some cheesing line from a movie like “This isn’t over” or “You won’t be so lucky next time!”
The Blood Hunter could easily imagine their frustrated reactions, which caused him to laugh a little at the thought. He could’ve easily just ignored the message and avoided dealing with them, but for some reason, Vlad wanted to talk to the angels.
It wasn’t that he wanted to show off his victory and mock the angels for failing to get him killed, though that was part of the reason but the biggest one was he wanted to make his stance clear with these bastards.
And after seeing this Faction screw them off by messing with their quests twice, Vlad had plenty to say to them. So…why not entertain the idea and speak with these idiots?
Vlad soon made his decision as a sly smile was plastered on his face, revealing his fangs for everyone to see. He then accepted the request, starting his second conversation with the Angels.
[Player Vlad Stoker has accepted the Angel Factions Request!]
[Initiating Chat Room Protocol!]
[Representative of the Faction for the Chat Room will be Top Administrator of Angel Faction [Michael]!]
[The Chat Room is now available!]
Reading the messages, Vlad’s eyes widen at the mention of the new representative talking to him. To make matters even more interesting, it was supposedly the Top Administrator, which meant the vampire was about to have a conversation with the Boss of the Angel Faction.
[Michael: You have committed a heinous act, monster.]
Vlad frowned at the message from the Angel. He could tell that this conversation was going to go very well already.
