The next morning, I woke up to messages from the twins. They had settled everyone and ensured everyone had a good sleep. "Well you sturred up some shit," she said flat out "It seems the family you picked up were linchpins in an international ring and you blew it up" She smiled "I watched money move all over the planet within minutes of me sending those messages, their accounts have been picked clean so they are now broke. The cops let them reach out to their legal staff and they won't even take their calls" she giggled at the last part.

"That's it for them but they will have competition that we will have to deal with, once the nanobots are widespread that will put an end to it or at least cripple it at least I hope"

Vickey smiled. "It will, sir; it just takes time. The alternative is tagging the planet, and I know you don't want that, but it might come to that in some areas."

"True but I want it voluntary as much as possible, out of curiosity how long would it take to tag a country on average".

"A few days is all it takes using drones to do the spraying then about a week for them to hit critical mass to self-replicate. Being able to read surface thoughts gives them the ability to self-identify the hosts within a week or so" Vickey said then looked away with a blank expression. "Sir the CIA has been sending messages to all your socials every hour for a meeting"

"Contact Becky and make sure she isn't stressing over this and what are they asking" I said then got up to get a coffee.

"They want a meeting face to face, that's it that's all they say besides a phone number".

"Would you set it up please I'm assuming a hologram will do" She nodded at me and looked away. "Sara could you..." she appeared smiling "Are you able to handle a second colony"?

I got the AI version of the the look all the women in my life have perfected "Yes sir it should be no problem, what are you thinking"?

"I think we need to grow out beyond the moon so I'm thinking Mars is next and was wondering if you would like to design it" I got a huge smile.

"Sir I just need to do a lot of asteroid mining to stockpile materials with your permission," She said with a look on her face that reminded me of a kid wanting a cookie.

"Increase the mining fleet if you need to actually how big is it now"?

"We have 15 ships gathering material"

"Increase it to 50, we are going to need a lot of materials upfront" She nodded and Vickey looked at me.

"Sir, I have a meeting with you in 9 minutes, and I have a drone on its way. His name is General Hutts," she said with her usual smile.

"Is that all for me sir"? Sara said and I nodded and she vanished

I looked at Vickey "Where is the meeting at"?

"We are headed to the Pentagon today; you're moving up in the world," she giggled. My view changed, and suddenly, I was in a waiting area, scaring the receptionist at the desk.

"Good morning I'm here to meet with a general Hutts I think I'm in the right spot," I said with a smile.

"Um, yes, sir, right this way, please," she said in a shakey voice leading me to a door next to her desk, she opened it and I followed.

The man behind the desk stood and put out his hand then realized I was a hologram "Good day captain thank you for coming today my name is General Hutts" I nodded and noticed the lights on his phone showing he was on speakerphone.

Vickey chirped in my ear "Tracking the call shows 6 are listening, 3 in the building the rest are outside".

"Hello General Hutts it seems you have questions for me," I said with a smile.

"First of all is there a direct way to get ahold of you in the future"? He said with a look I couldn't identify.

"No this works fine by me for now," I said with a flat tone.

"We didn't receive receipts from the messages so we sent one an hour until you replied," he said with the same flat tone.

"You didn't get any receipts because they came through my network I brought online and before you try to hack it I will give you some source code so you can tell how feeble your attempts are," I said with a straight face and his expression started to crack.

"The main reason for this contact was your actions in the village in Mexico, it seems your actions have grabbed the attention of the higher brass"

They asked to send a final text and I saw nothing wrong with that so I let them, when they finished they unlocked their phones and gave them to me. "You don't expect me to believe that captain," he said with a shocked tone.

"That's the official story while others are listening" he nodded and smirked for a second.

"I have a file I would like to show you sir and get some clarification" he shuffled some papers on his desk and then picked up a book "Could I show you something"

"Sure I hide very little" and I stepped forward.

He dropped the book on his phone and checked to make sure he disconnected the call "We have about 2 minutes till they reconnect until then it's you and me, I worked that case and I feel the same way you do. They want to know how you did it and so do I, I've watched the footage and it looked like they all just went to sleep then you collected 42 of his victims. Are they ok"?

I smiled and my attitude changed about him "I returned the ones who had homes to go to the rest I gave homes and they are safe with people protecting them"

That's when the receptionist's voice came from the phone and the call was reconnected "To the people listening I'm sorry I tried to pass a file to a hologram" then looked at me.

"It's my fault I shouldn't have reached for it," I said with a smile and Hutts returned it.

"Now where were we, when did you become aware of the situation"?

"About 30 minutes before I landed, my scans showed them moving up the valley so I knew I had to take action. I didn't want anyone there for the action so I evacuated the people giving them lots of food and water and way too much money to get home"

"How long did it take you to stop the tanks"?

"About 2 minutes after they stopped firing"

"We saw them firing at you and it looked like the shells exploded before they hit you"

"That would be my shields general, all I saw was a light show till they were done"

"How did you determine what tank the son was in"?

"I listened in on their communication and determined he was the lead guy, it was a guess really"

"You decrypted their communications"?

"Yes sir"

"How fast did that take you"?

"In about a blink of an eye, it's childsplay to my tech" he seriously looked shocked at that.

"During your encounter, we witnessed over 40 of their victims being loaded onto your ship, where are they now and are they ok"?

"Yes they are, I had families volunteer to help take care of the kids that I can't return home to their own families. My hopes aren't high as those animals were killing people and taking what they wanted" The general closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"We saw that and wanted to say thank you on behalf of the government in charge"

"So is this just a play-by-play of the footage you already have" I said with a questioning tone.

"Well captain we are wondering about the capabilities of the suit you wore" his eyebrows went up.

"I can guarantee it's beyond anything you have seen so far but I prefer to do things the way I did, not a shot fired by me. I apologize if I stepped on some toes performing a humanitarian mission to protect the village but I deemed it necessary" I said with a smile and realized this general may seem useful in the future.

"Would you care to go into a little more detail about the suit"?

"Not at this time but it will come out eventually once others are trained on them". The general gave a slight smile "Is that all you have for me General Hutts"?

"I suppose that's if for now, is there a better way of contacting you in the future" he had a hopeful look on his face.

"No the way it is ok for now but that will change in the future" he stood and went to shake my hand again and laughed at himself.

"I will leave you now sir I have wives to look after" That got a look of shock but he nodded.

"Well captain thank you for coming and I'm sure we will be in contact again" he walked to the door and opened it. I nodded and disappeared and set the drone to find its way home.

I closed my VR and was met with my wives, a glass of juice, and advice to stop drinking so much coffee. I did what I was told and downed the juice before Lisa sat on my lap and kissed me "You were a little mean to him he seemed nice"

"I think you were the right kind of mean, they knew the family was doing and did nothing," Cora said with a look on her face and a shake of her head then came in for her kiss.

"We are going to run into a lot of people like that, there are a lot of people who prey on others, the kids are too much in my book," I said with a shake of my head.

We got to the living room and I turned on the news to catch up and saw footage of me dropping off the family and smiled when the host was saying that other countries wanted access to them as well. The news didn't have much beyond that so I jumped online and found gold. A Fortune 1000 company, 785 to be exact has gone belly up overnight after all its funds were siphoned off, dirty money all the way to the top. There were noted disappearances of some CEOs and board members for the company, I'm guessing the cops are looking for them after the list is compared.

I finished and looked at my ladies and they were looking at their scans comparing growth in the babies so I just sat and watched till I got caught. "Ok I'm hungry and I'm not sure if it's my hunger" I laughed.

We sat at the table with a little feast laid out for all of us and talked "How is Carly doing"

Cora started "I guess Suzy was at it again but it got out who Carly's dad was and now all the boys like her. I will make sure it doesn't get out of hand"

Lisa was next "She is learning quickly what attracts the boys, from what I understand the fact that her dad owns an amusement park got slipped into the conversation by her" she giggled.

I closed my eyes and shook my head and they started laughing at me "She is a smart little girl, she will figure it out" Cora said

We finished our meal got cleaned up and settled on the sofa for a movie, every time the girls got relaxed the babies started to kick getting giggles from each. I guess when the girls kick it feels like flutters and we had fun watching their tummies move. By the time the babies were done so were my girls so I ushered them off to bed and followed close behind.
