The next morning I woke to the usual drool spots and snoring kittens. They would alternate between snoring and purring as I got up and went to my office. Vicky appeared with her usual smile "good morning captain".

"Is there anything I need to attend to?" I asked her.

"Nothing pressing but the people of Progress have taken to the comm units. They love them and I got a few requests for learning the programming language". I smiled "set up a class and see who wants to take it". She smiled "I already did, I was just waiting for your approval".

"For things like that you have free reign just keep me in the loop. I highly doubt you would do something I had to veto" was my reply and She smiled at that.

"Should we limit the power of the gauntlet?" I shook my head "it's kind of a dick move to throttle the power" I said with a grin. "Ok but the first death ray at a school science fair is on you" she giggled. "I'm going to wonder what people come up with using this much processing power. The holograms add a whole new level of entertainment people can explore".

Her eyes opened "has B shown you the glasses yet?" I looked at her as B appeared "I'm sorry I thought he knew already". B smiled "not at all it was a perfect time to show him". He looked at me "I've been looking at tech you have now and looking for upgrades".

The replicator went off and I looked inside. There were a pair of glasses with a classic black frame. I looked at him and picked them up and put them on and wow. Everything in the room was identified using boxes as labels.

"They use your nanobots and the scanners built into the frames. Think of angles in the room". I did as he asked and all the angles in the room dimensions came up as well as the angles at the corners. I thought of a thermal view and looked at my hands revealing the heat emitting from them. I thought normal and the displays disappeared.

I looked at him smiling "everyone is going to want one of these. Thank you". He beamed with pride "it's second nature for you but people will need a bit of practice but it's not hard".

"People have been after this for years and this will sell our network to everyone. How long will a charge last for?" He smiled "at least a week with heavy use"

My eyes shot open "the selling points just keep getting better. What about existing prescriptions". He smiled again "I can modify existing glasses with a replicator so as they buy their device they will be done before the transaction is done".

I don't think my smile could get any bigger. "I have one final question "do you want this as an add on or part of the comm device". Another smile "I want everyone to have them so part of the package works".

"Have you told Sara yet?" He shook his head "no sir you are the first".

"Why don't you talk to Sara and work out all the details, this may change her pricing. You just brought Augment Reality to the mainstream. I sat in my chair and started to play with my new toy. The overlay was seamless and crystal clear, I thought of the news and it popped up. I thought of my messages and poof they were there. It took me a min to use my eyes and blinks to sort through them.

This is going to change things for everyone I thought and Vicky added "it sure will" I chuckled.

That's when I felt the tug from my mates. I made my way to them and found Cora trying to stand. I got her to the bathroom and I could feel her relief. Lisa followed and I got a grunt for my efforts. Getting her back to the bed I went to lay her down and got pulled down. They both cuddled into me so I gave in and took a nap.

Waking an hour later I was sweaty and needed the refresher and by the smell my girls needed it to. I picked up Cora and went to the bathroom and the refresher perked her up. She got down yawning and Lisa was next and I got the same response resulting in tired but awake kitties.

"I'm hungry but the thought of eating makes me cringe" Lisa said with Cora nodding. "My tummy hurts" Cora said and curled up in a ball on the bed. "You both probably stretched your stomachs so they might be sore for a bit. Vickey please bring the girls up to speed in regards to our kids". She appeared and did just that.

"Your bugs to the rescue again" Lisa said and Cora jumped in "the babies are ok right". Vickey nodded "they are safe and the nanobots have it under control but it put you ahead of schedule. I'm estimating 5 weeks now for the kits". She brought up their health data and showed them.

I looked at the kids separated on either side of the womb. "I hope they don't separate like that after they are born". I got the look from all 3 women "they will love one another and not even fight" Cora said and I giggled and rolled my eyes at that one.

"I just mean how they give him space" I said. "They just know something you don't". I looked at her "and that would be?" She just shrugged her shoulders "dunno but I'm sure there is something there".

With that the replicator went off with pills for my wives with a message to take with food. They groaned but went to the kitchen and it started again. It started with finger sandwiches then finger foods.

"Maybe we can make it from the table without you passing out" I giggled. Lisa scowled at me "it was kind of scary, I would have eaten anything in front of me and the sleep just came over me" Lisa said with Cora nodding. Just then the door chimed.

As soon as Kim and Gar walked in the girls started crying. Kim ran to Lisa and Gar went to Cora. "This is normal, they are getting weeks of hormones all at once. Why don't you let us take care of this one" Gar said in a calm voice. I just nodded and made my exit.

I scanned and found Becky so I went to the communal area and found her talking to Sara. They finished their conversation as I approached "Sara just told me about the glasses and now I want a pair" said Becky. "We'll go get a pair" she took off like a rabbit.

I looked at Sara "I hope adding the glasses doesn't set you back". She smiled "not at all sir I just have to include replicators to produce the glasses and do upgrades on their existing persiptions. I have set up distribution all over North America and I am working on Europe. I'm going for bulk at first and then the stragglers. I'm doing a sliding scale for pricing so everyone will have one. I'm thinking $100 for the kit with the glasses so they should sell like hotcakes. I'm doing all business now in Canadian dollars till we have our own".

"I'm so glad you are taking care of this". She smiled "it's what I was brought online to do sir". I was just about to say something when Becky walked up to me.

"These are so friggin cool, is it the nanobots that change the displays?" I nodded "the nanobots sense your surface thoughts so it might take a bit to get used to". She nodded and was staring off into space giggling.

"Is there anything you need Sara?" She shook her head "no sir" and she dissolved. Becky looked at me "these are just cool and it's seamless" I laughed. "I'm glad they meet your approval"

We went for a walk around Progress and found a few that were in contact with others getting ready to go to the park. We talked about the interview for a bit till the twins approached.

"Just the man we want to see". They said in unison "there are people who want jobs at the park". They made me smile "I see no problem with that, get in touch with Sara and see what she thinks. I'm guessing they will have the jobs they want in no time. My end goal is to replace every bot with a person so this is perfect".

They nodded and took off for their office calling Sara as they went.

I went back to my quarters and was afraid of what I would find. I found my wives laughing with Kim and Gar. "Is it safe to come in?" I said aloud and my mates ran to me apologizing. "No need to apologize as long as you are ok".

Kim started "we normally get the hunger every few days but they got hit with 2 weeks worth all at once. It should be normal from now on".

I looked at the girls "how are you feeling?" Lisa smiled "we are ok now just a little tired" Cora agreed with a yawn.

"Go back to bed and sleep it off" was Gars answer. The girls agreed and they were off to bed.

Kim looked at me and smiled "so holy man what are you going to do next". I shook my head "ok ok I give in what else am I supposed to do?"

Kim clapped and jumped "you are supposed to command armies of bots but you do that already. They say you are unkillable in a fight and you will fight to the death to protect your loved ones". I nodded in agreement at that one.

"Have you connected to the babies yet?" I nodded and she smiled a loving smile. "I knew it wouldn't take long". Gar had a blissfully look on his face "I never thought I would have grandchildren". I smiled "well they have all of us in their corner for support".

I looked at Kim "do I have any more surprises in store". She shook her head "no Lisa knows what's coming now she should be fine and I can't think of anything else". I smiled "I have no idea where the kits are". She smiled "they are at the park with B and will be home in an hour". I should have known better, moms always know where their kids are.

They bid their farewell and I crawled in between my mates and went to sleep.
