I awoke to an arm over my head and a face full of fur. I was spooning Cora and Lisa was draped over me. I looked in the corner of the bedroom and saw my own eyes looking back at me. A younger version of myself and a young cat girl sat there.

I woke Cora and Lisa and we all addressed our visitors. "Good morning prime" the young me said. "We have come with a request," the girls said. "We wish to add the others to your family unit as we feel your concern for them". I looked at Cora "it's up to you". She smiled "if you have them I should to, I know Carla will be in as well". Both our guests looked at me and spoke at once "we will prepare their nanobots and do the transfer, thank you prime". They dissipated into nothing.

Cora looked at me "prime?" I shrugged my shoulders. Cora got excited "maybe the coffee thing will make sense" she laughed. I looked at Lisa "wanna bring her up to speed on what is going to happen".

Lisa was showing the commutator when I left the bedroom. In my office Vicky looked stressed "your people are litter bugs. I keep getting readings of some rare earth elements and it turns out to be junk or it disappears when I get there".

I looked at her "you are the only AI here right". I got the AI version of the look. "Yes I'm sure I do regular scans" she said smugly. "Anything else," she nodded. "The probe that is watching the spot where the kits appeared is done and it found nothing".

"Ok, recall it or reassign it if you need it".

"I do actually, I will add it to the deep scan of the solar system". I nodded "are you looking for anything in particular?" She shook her head "no it just needs to be done. I can identify targets for mining".

"Excellent, how far has Shaun gotten through the family?" "He has 72% done, I think he is having trouble contacting a few". I smiled "let him take his time and enjoy himself".

"On to something new. What do you have for recycling tech in regards to dealing with dumps and daily garbage".

"That's easy, we have decompilers that can process 50 tons an hour. It breaks it down to base materials we can use later they are the size of 2 shipping containers side by side".

"Could you start on a few of them and a ship to drop them off. I was thinking of starting in Vancouver, Jaden is there so it makes sense. We almost need to film a demo to show people, wait where is Sandy".

"She is still on the planet".

"Ask her if she wants to join us cleaning up her town's dump. It's perfect they know us and we can help them even more". "She is available if you want to tell her".

"Good point" I jumped into VR and found her.

"I was wondering if you would get a hold of your town and ask if we can clean up their landfill and film a commercial". She looked at me "why do I get the feeling that won't be the weirdest thing you will ask of me" she laughed. "I was a little homesick lately so can I take a trip there after this". I smiled "absolutely but make it sooner than later I want you to take a break". She nodded at that "I will go tomorrow". That taken care of I went back to my office.

I called for my brain crew and they all appeared "Vickey had there been any alien influence you can find on earth" she smiled "I have found a few ships on the planet that are alien. They are mostly in possession of large governments but they essentially are drones to us." "What governments?". Another smile "the US, Russia and China but there are junk crashed ships, there is no tech that worries me onboard them".

B cut in "are there any sites that haven't been found yet?" She looked at him "2 at the South Pole, one will be uncovered in a few years but the other is at the bottom of a glacier and it's older than me". I looked at her "can we just go get it?"

"That works, I will make some bots to melt it out of the ice. There is a debris field that I need to collect as well. I should have it here by supper".

"I want it scanned to death for anything living, for all we know it's from the kits world". She nodded at that.

"I will make a drone to tunnel down to the second ship to make the decision whether to dig it up".

C came forward "I have made advancements in my shield research sir". In came a drone with a box full of rings with crystals set in them. There were men's and women's in a few different styles, a pinky ring that was small caught my eye. I tried on the ring that was to big then shrank to fit my finger. It was small and that's what I liked, I'm not one for jewelry.

The ring started to flash blue finally completely engulfed me in blue light that hugged to my body about 3 cm away. Then nothing "well that was weird". C spoke "as long as you are wearing these you can't be shot. It senses fast moving objects and stops them, it could even stop a punch if they swung hard enough". That made me smile "C you have just taken a weight off my shoulders, thank you". He smiled and nodded. "How bad of a hit did the diamond take?"

C took this one "I produced 50 shield generators and I used 0.05% of the main diamond". I smiled "we will have to look for more if it's that valuable". They nodded "feel free to make some probes to look for more. The more eyes we have out there the better". A stepped up "May I have one of the explorers for research sir".

"Of course A feel free, I want you to reach out and learn", That got smiles from all. With nothing else I ended my meeting and left my office.

Lisa and Cora met me at the door with kisses and licks. "We need to go to the flight deck, you need to see this" Lisa said and my eyebrows went up. We made our way there and when the door opened I saw the flight simulators everywhere.

They were shooting harmless light pulses. I counted 12 and looked at B "do you have drones fighting the kits?" He shook his head "each kit is operating 2 at once". Again my eyebrows went up. "How did that happen?". B giggled "it started as a dare between the kits so the male took up the challenge and within a day he mastered it. It's odd it's like when one knew they all knew".

I called for Vicky "I'm thinking my nanobots have something to do with this". She nodded "yes sir. Your nanobots have formed a sort of hive mind amongst the kits and they have tapped into it. I've discussed this with Kim and Gar and they are ok with it as long as it's beneficial".

"Keep me informed as well please"

B approached me and 6 of the sims came to hover around me. "Am I being ambushed?" I chuckled. B smiled "the kits want to try the real thing and I said I would ask you". I smiled "absolutely. But one each and no weapon, Well nothing bad". I watched as 6 little fighters spun in circles and took off to play. They moved like the machines had personalities, it was cute.

I looked at B "are they still having fun? I don't want them pushed at all". B giggled "sir they love it. I have to make them go home sometimes and I limit their time based on info from mom and dad".

I smiled and turned around to watch the drones play when I saw cars in the corner next to the twins ship. Maybe that will be my next stop today. I looked at Cora "where is Carla?"

"She is with your brother, I want her to spend time with humans now that she is one". I agreed and wondered what kind of questions she is asking Shaun.

I decided to leave aliens behind while I paid the new area a visit and made my way to the lift. It took my breath away again when the door opened. The twins put so much work into this and it showed. I saw new faces and they looked happy, the kids were playing in the playground.

I found the twins helping an older couple move into their new home. I went to help, picking up a trunk and asking where it goes. The old woman looked at me "not the trunk yet we need the table". I did what I was told and brought in the table, nodding at the twins as I walked by them. The couple had me rearrange things 3 times before I was allowed to grab the trunk.

After all was said and done the twins introduced me and they almost swallowed their dentures. I laughed it off and told her I was glad to help. They were a retired couple that was reduced to living in their RV because of medical bills.

"We don't have any more medical problems because of your miracle beds" he said, hugging his wife. "The big robot let me know I was close to losing her to cancer, thank you sir". I nodded "it's my pleasure to help you and seeing you like this is payment enough for me". I bid my farewell and took my leave and the twins joined me.

"How many so far?" Emma smiled "22 families and 12 singles so far and we found some trades and a nurse".

We walked to the tree and sat on the bench to watch the kids play. I noticed a woman in the outdoor kitchen making lunch for everyone so I went to introduce myself. It was easy to tell that she was at home in the kitchen and this wasn't her first rodeo. Her name was Sam and she "loves to cook" according to her.

"You keep bringing me people and I will keep cooking and that Vickey girl showed me how to save favorites for them for later".

"Deal" I said and put out my hand and she took it.

I made my way back to my office to find Lisa and Cora trying on rings and giggling. "I want you to pick one and get used to wearing it. The protection it offers will put my hearts at ease knowing you're safe. Could you get Jaden and the girls to come up and pick one. Lisa smiled "I will be calling her later and I will let her know". I looked at Cora "where is Carla she is going to need one as well".

Just as I said that she walked into the room and all she saw nothing but sparkly. "Do they have to be worn as rings?" She asked and Vicky jumped in "they have to be next to the body for full effect". They looked at one another and had a conversation with a look.

"Can we have matching pendants?" asked Cora with the others nodding. "Coming right up" said Vickey. She sat and talked with the girls about what they wanted and after 10 min they showed up.

Three teardrop shaped pendants showed up and I took the time to put them on each of their necks. One my one the blue flash enveloped them getting giggles.

I touched base with Vickey about the ship recovery, finding there was nothing to see. "It's garbage and we can't gain anything from it. As far as I could tell with a quick scan it was remotely piloted with no crew". With that I looked at everyone and called it a day.
