At the beginning, there were two immortals.

It took me over a hundred years to make the first True Elf evolve into one of them, and I was almost losing hope as almost all the remaining True Elves had turned into Seraphim already.

However, as soon as I got two of them, I demanded for them to reproduce.

And so, they did.

The result were four children and a crying father.

Elana, the Immortal giving birth to those children, died at its fifth childs' labor - alongside the child.

They demanded of me an explanation as why I did not save their mother.

Still, the reason was simple.

She was doomed to die soon anyway. And with her, the whole of the possibility of breeding the Immortal race - as only stillborn children would result from incest amongst them.

This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.

Immortals are a race of extreme yang. Having sex and then generating a child is a very yin act. Elana had to give its all just to give birth to four children. Irs, its husband, wasn’t in good shape either, after losing too much of its essence.

In fact, except by me killing them myself, there would probably be no other way to kill Immortals outside of making them breed with each other.

This was needed. This was the required sacrifice for them to increase their numbers.

Still, alongside a few decades, the little ones began to go mad.

They would see me administrating the world from afar, and cry into my ears as they spotted injustice and misery everywhere.

So, what?

Do you want me to create an Utopia? For me to make this world a peaceful land of cooperation, where everyone cultivates Magic Power to nourish their Seeds?

Go on, try by yourselves. See if you can make this worlds’ inhabitants mature their Seeds faster than I do!

And so, they did. They spread alongside the world and started teaching. One year later, however, all they had done was to anger the Seraphim.

Every single being alive in the previous Era would have an unbelievably high life expectancy.

Even if they were only lowly Elves or Dwarfs, with so much magic around a single generation could last for a hundred thousand years!

As the immortals tried to force all races to cultivate, they started to try and fight back.

Unreconcilable life and death feuds wouldn’t be undone by a bunch of small sun-like people saying they should forgive one another and cultivate peace and love!

Massacre ensued and the angels tried to protect the oppressed races as they so thought it was the Will of Tiphoon - deducing so by seeing how I created them, technically, as it’s “vassal”.

Then, as the Seraphim joined the battle, damage started to accumulate on the surface of the planet.

By them, seeing as how I wouldn’t let them do as they pleased and massacre even the Seraphim, or worse, accumulate even more damage on Tiphoon, the four children decided to destroy me.

Seeing me as the ultimate enemy, the deceiver who taught war and deception to the whole world. The devil, so to say.

Their father tried to stop them, but it was too weakened to do anything.

So, I stopped them myself.
